I'm not sure it was the right call pre flop, was gonna lay it down, but decided I'd see a flop. I figure I's all in or fold, but decided to fold since I didn't want to risk most of my stack on a coin flip. In a cash game, I think I'd generally push. Since it was a tourney, I decided to fold and wait for a better spot. I got a pretty bad outcome in that I put in 450 on a draw and didn't even get to see anymore cards, but I'm not sure I did much wrong. Title: Re: another big draw early stages of a tourney Post by: AlexMartin on April 19, 2007, 04:31:28 AM I dont mind the call preflop, plenty of implied odds esp in a multiway pot. However, when the guy bets 450 into a pot of roughly the same, i am going to go away. As always, position is power and as you are not last to act, you cannot call. For my money shover has QQQ or JJJ and you cannot call.
