I was on Ramzi's table, i like it when he reads it... rather him read than raise.

i have been to the book shop on the corner of the champs and bought freakenomics vol 2 through 5 for him today.

I have not got the paitence of a blond blogger but as i am here early for the free Wifi for a few hours real work i can tell you that the manual table draw has some interesting mixes with a lot of the big stacks grouped together and as for me.....

I have drawn a Deeb Lisandro Sandwich, happy.......

 ;boltpp;

at least i avoided the machine Vaswani .... for now

Post by: snoopy1239 on May 08, 2007, 03:05:21 PM
Well, Ramzi Jelassi posted above, and someone has already donked off his table, Mats Iremark in fact, his Ac Jc failing to outdraw Eric Koskas's Ahrt Kd, the board bringing down an emphatic Kh 5d 2h 8s 3s which led to the Swede exiting before the turn of the River.

84 down to 83.

Title: Re: Grand Prix De Paris: Day 2 - Interactive
Post by: Djinn on May 08, 2007, 03:09:18 PM
Flurry of early action - Pascal Perrault moves in on the cutoff with Ts Td and the short stacked big blind, Yuri Kerzhapkin, calls with 5d 5s.
Flop:  Ac 7c 2c
Turn:  4s  (and we're probably all thinking it now, I just can't help it any more, unhealthy though it is)...
River:   3d   Double through for straightened Yuri, and everyone's opinion on live poker is confirmed.

Well, Britian may not have invaded with the World's biggest army, but we're fairing well, Day 1 seemingly a piece of cake for the homegrown crew.

Of course, our biggest threat made the cut, Mr Dave Colclough, looking Burns-like as ever...

As mentioned earlier by Mr. Gourlay:  Table Gourlay In Pictures -

David Redlin, Alexander Kuzmin, Jeffrey Lisandro
Mark Teltscher, Ryad Abour, Turgut Guner
Freddy Deeb, Mad Derwich, Paul Gourlay

Noel Gaens doesn't appear to be there...either an early mover or an early exit...

Of course, equally capable of taking this one down is the Brummie Pimp, Mark 'MrCool' Goodwin, hoping to perform a shortstack miracle after being down to 3k near the end of Day 1A.

Guillaume Darcourt is OUT.

Raised to 2k with Jacks, Alain Layani re-raised to 8k with Kings, Guillaume pushed for 17k total and Alain, of course, called, although Ramzi pretended he dwelt up as he was retelling the tale.

No help arrived.

A big pot builds up preflop between Pier Paolo Ruscalla and Eric Larcheveque (pictured below)... 30k is in there already as button Eric thinks about calling PPR's pre-flop re-raise all-in, at least another 20something000.  Eventually he passes - you can see the resulting look the loser gives the stacker - "You used to be in my stack, yellow chips..."

Marc Goodwin is OUT, leaving without a parting thought.

Oh, except for the phrase, "The French are f-ing muppets, and you can quote me on that." I don't think I will though... oh, oops.  ;whistle;

Probably not the best of places to make that observation with an exclamation, but although a slight generalistation, it's hard not to sympathise.

Under the gun, Marc made it 2.1k to play with Aspades Qs only for his French ami (or en-ami) to raise another 4k. Marc pushed for 23k and Frenchieboy made an incredible call with J-To, leaving himself with just 2k behind.

Of course, the A-Q went bust, to a salt-in-wound-rubbing full house, leaving MrCool with a somewhat bitter taste in his mouth.

Bad news for MrCool, but great news for the nearest bar.

Remi Biechel is OUT.

Down to 7k, Remi pushed all-in with Kc 6c, but was picked off by Ad Jh which caught two emphatic Aces.

Pascal Perrault and his technicoloured dreamshirt is OUT, crushed by a Tens vs. Fives on a 7-A-2-4-3 board (ouch!) before moving his shortstack in with the next half decent hand, but running into Aces. Not a good day at the office.

Peter Gould has doubled through courtesy of Samir Shakhtoor, flopping a cracking 2h 8h Qd Flop with Ahrt Qh, betting out 4k and having the Swede make an over-the-top for 20k move at the wrong time with just one pair. The Queen stood up leaving Mr Gould with just over 50k.

Title: Re: Grand Prix De Paris: Day 2 - Interactive
Post by: Djinn on May 08, 2007, 04:03:59 PM
Eric Larcheveque is OUT -

Ge called a cutoff raise from Patrick Schull in the small blind, as did big blind Vivian Anseline.  The flop came:  7h 3h Jd.  Eric bet out 1,500.  Vivian raised to 4,500.  Patrick had lost interest by now, but Eric called when it got back to him.
Turn:  Js.  Eric checked - a multicoloured stack measuring about 7,725 went in.  After a little think, he said it, the one-word shove:  "Tapis."  It was another 12k or so to Anseline, and he eventually called, showing Jc Qd, good against Eric's 9s 9c.

As he left the room, tablemate Brian Johnson said he knew exactly what was going on there as after letting himself be pushed off earlier by Larcheveque he was later made aware that his ex-opponent wasn't exactly the tightest of players and had been after his stack.  Too late!

Pictured:  Vivian Anseline, during and after the hand.  He reminds me (before grinning after winning) of Beat Takeshi in 'Brother' without the twitchy eye.

There is certainly lots of play - and without the stupid WPT-filming-crapshoot at the end, this might be the best structured tournament of the year, in my opinion.

Brian Johnson says that they might stretch it to the full six days to keep the cash games bubbling over - perhaps by just not raising the blinds.  At all.

Jan Boubli, who was one of the chip leaders, has just been taken down by Ram Vaswani, the Hendon Mobber jumping up to 100k as a result.

However, Ram just put the finishing touches on, big A-Q vs. K-K, Q-Q vs. K-K and T-T vs. A-A confrontations being what truly killed Boubli off.

Tough break, but I guess he was behind on each one.

EVERYBODY gets involved on Table Deeb now...

Jeff Lisandro raised in early position, and found a re-raiser in Ryad Abour - to 4,500 from perhaps 1,800.  Freddy Deeb called on the button, Paul Gourlay called on the big blind, early position limper David Redlin called too and then it got back to Lisandro, who shoved...
The pot had already become around 23k, and Lisandro was all-in for 24,700.

Ryad Abour passed with a troubled expression and a medium dwell.
Freddy Deeb passed with calm Stoicism.
Paul Gourlay passed after about 10 minutes' dwell and very reluctantly.
David Redlin passed as if he'd just been waiting to do so all along.

"Now we're playing hold'em!"  Announces Jeffrey Lisandro, winning the Stating the Obvious prize of the day.
"I should have called there, eh Freddy?" asks Gourlay, who'd showed his J-J before throwing them away.  "I think I'm ahead but it's a race at best..."
To which Lisandro:  "Hey, two to one, 50/50 - what the F-?"

So a flop-free double up for the lairy seat 4, he'll be trouble now...

Straight from the horse's mouth (I'm not calling him a horse mind)...

"After one A-K, no A-A, K-K or Q-Q on Day 1, I picked up A-K second hand and picked up the blinds.

Then I called a raise with A-T of diamonds, before checking an A-Q-5 Flop. I then called off 10k on the Turn and River (5k per street) only to be show A-Q.

I struggled on 12-15k for most of Level 2 before picking up A-K and winning a 4k pot. Flop was A-K-T.

Then, I won a 10k battle of the blinds with A-3 versus 5-6 on an A-7-8. Of course, he missed his draw.

At the moment, I have 26k"

Brian only has 7,000 I'm afraid.

He reckons he's been cursed for knocking someone out on the very first hand of the Day, not winning a single hand since.

Spot of luck for Mads Andersen, somehow surviving an all-in with A-3 vs. A-J, the board bring out a very chop-like K-Q-4-5-4 for a split pot.

Gilbert Chahine        53,000
Peter Gould            62,000
Daniel Donnabedian  45,000
Samir Shakhtoor       78,250
Nikolai Evdakov         88,000
Janne Lamsa            32,000

Lamsa only just doubled up to that number, moving in as a third preflop raise over the top of button Gavile (raised to 1,800) and small blind Chahine (raised to 5,800).  He held 9d 9s, which stayed ahead of his caller's Aspades Qd.

Nasrodin Pirmamod, who, I hear, is a millionaire gambling tutor and part-time sex doctor, has just been eliminated by Adrien Gavile, who smooth called Nasrodin's shortstacked 8.5k all-in from early position.

Nasrodin = Ahrt 6h

Gavile = Kd Kc

Board = Qd Th Jc 6s 3h

DC update please,

Thanks

Here's the blond one and tablemate Mads Andersen.

Apparently, Nasrodin Pirmamod made a fortune from teaching people how to play games such as Roulette and whatnot and publishing it in magazines. Here's Benjo looking on with little green monster eyes at the affluent Nasrodin sandwiched between two dolly birds. Obviously it's all bollox and the man's a genius for convincing people you can win at these games with his 'system', but notice the word 'Keno' on the front cover, something I'm sure Benjo will be reading up on during the dinner break so he can beat me at the skillful game.

Watch out for next month's edition, "How To Beat The National Lottery."

Hi, great updates!

Any chance on a chipcount for Brian Johnson?

Thanks!!!

Brian only has 7,000 I'm afraid.

He reckons he's been cursed for knocking someone out on the very first hand of the Day, not winning a single hand since.
If you see Brian then tell him to execute a monster triple up like he did at the end of day 1. Let him know that Lindsay (and my Mum) are willing him on.

I'm afraid it's too late, as he's just exited this year's Grand Prix de Paris, the empty seat on Table 7 signifying his departure.

Mad Derwich is OUT - all in preflop with Tc Td vs. the Ahrt Kd of the unstoppable Jeff Lisandro.  All clear until the river brought a King, knocking him out and dragging Lisandro's stack up to a tidy 63k or so.  Their table is now breaking, as we're down to 63 players.  Lisandro pictured waving, not trying to get me to go away.

Lengthiest Dwell Prize goes to Turgut Guner (pictured top) after Yuri Kerzhapkin moved in on the river for 19k into a 13k pot, with the board:  6d 9c Kd 5h 4h.  No call, but I watched this hand for about ten minutes and so it's getting reported.

Walid Bouhabib limps from early position for 800, Alexander Kuzmin makes it 3.2k and Walid calls.

Flop = 8h 5d 6d

Check, check.

Turn = 2s

Walid checks, Alexander bets 4k, Walid makes it 15k and Alexander folds.

I though Walid looked uncomfrtable, but Alexander either didn't agree or didn't have the testicular fortitude play back at him.

and it's a...

(http://www.biltongmakers.com/falkirk-100-4.jpg)

in fact it's a really really...

;bp;

I join the action with around 50-60k already in the pot, Jeff pushing in around 30k (covering his opponent, PP Ruscalla) and the board reading...

5s Th 3d 8d

Ruscalla calls and Jeff asks, in that familiarly confident manner, "So, have you got Jacks or Queens?"

"Tens," replies Roscalla.

Slightly concerned, Jeff reveals Kh Kd, but breathes a big sigh of relief when he sees that he has his opponent drawing dead to two cards with a surprisingly vulnerable and perhaps not biggest-pot-of-the-night inducing Kc Td.

River = 5c

Ruscalla gone, Lisandro new chip leader with circa 160k.

This, I believe (and hope  ;pokergods;) is American player Jeff Wallace, recently seen limp folding for 800 to his next door neighbour's 3.2k pre-flop bet, leaving him with just 14,700 in chips.

This is the best picture I could obtain I'm afraid due to him facing the wall, the attractive and very alluring dealer kept getting in the way of my picture. God damn her!  ;grr;

Dave Colclough is at 75k during this break, after what he calls some "French hospitality..."  Despite seeing no big pairs this comp, and only one lone A-K today, he's built up from about 15k to his present stack playing a lot of mediocre starting hands from the wonderful big blind.  Here's a breakdown:

1)  After there's one limper - Georges Teboul - he sees a J-8-4 (one diamond) flop in the big blind, holding Jd Qd.  He checks, Teboul bets 2.5k, he raises to 6k.  Call.
Turn:  6d  DC moves in for 16.5k (the diamond giving his confidence in his hand a boost).  He gets a dwell-call (leading him to pessimistically suspect J-K or some such hand) but it turns out he was doubled through by an optimistic 8-9.

2)  In the bb again with Kh 8h it was 2,600 to go with one caller, DC goes for it, "for the value."
Flop: Kd-9c-4c check-check-check
The turn pairs the four - the 4d bringing the double flush draw.  David Redlin bets 4k, and gets called in the middle - now not so sure that his King is the best hand, he calls.
River: 3c  "I'm now in check-call mode," says Dave, but it checks round, the King stood up.  "Easy pot."

3) In the bb with 4-4 Teboul raises, Dave smooth calls... 2-3-5 the flop. Dave checks, Teboul bets, Dave calls.
Turn  6  Dave bets 5k on his turned straight, and gets a speedy call.
River is a blank... DC leads out 6k, hoping his opponent has a pair...no, he gets not a penny more, being shown the perhaps unexpected A-Q...

Karsten Johansen (right) limps for 1,200, Brad Lipson (left) moves in for 6,150 more from the big blind, Karsten calls.

Karsten = 4c 4h

Brad = Kc Qh

Board = Td Qd Aspades Ac 9h

Libson doubles through.

Nikolai Evdakov raises under the gun, Janne Lamsa calls, Adrien Gavile calls, Gilbert Chahine and Samir Shakhtoor calls from the big blind.

Flop = 3h Js Qh

Samir checks, Nikolai bets 3k, Janne folds, Adrien folds, Gilbert calls and Samir calls.

Turn = 6d

Samir checks, Nikolai bets 6k, Gilbert folds and Samir folds.

A strange and rare five way pot, but Nikolai took down a nice pot nonetheless.

Karsten Johanssen is OUT - After a double limp, from Paul Testud under the gun and later position Freddy Deeb, Karsten Johanssen moved in on the small blind for perhaps 20k...Testud instacalled, which put Freddy off, if he'd been considering it.  "Showdown!" impatiently demands observer Johan Storakers, for no apparent reason (there must be some kind of tedious-dwell history on that table, for example).
Karsten shows:  Kh Qs
Paul shows:  Js Jc

Flop:  Aspades 9h Ad
Turn:  Jh
And he was already halfway out of the room as the irrelevant 6h came down.

Decent Unknown Chip Stack Watch:

Introducing (or reminding you of) a) Nichlas Saarisilta
b) David Redlin, the young American big stack on Dave's table - he says he's quite a tidy player, too.

Both of them hovering around that six figure mark.

Looks like the constantly short-stacked Brad Libson has exited stage left. Two other Americans aren't fairing too much better, Jeff Wallace and Jason Lee both struggling with 13,300 and 13,575 respectively.

If anyone can tell us more about these players, then please feel free to do so.

Things are moving like a river of treacle on Adrian Gavile's table (Adrian pictured).  The clock was just called on him as he deliberated a preflop raise and re-raise from the small blind.  In the end he pushed in, and the sb was commited with his Ad 4d - Gavile's Jd Jc took the pot and dropped the players to 56 - but there was some generalised moaning about how long it was taking to get through every hand over there.  There is nothing, in my opinion, more annoying than a super-slow thinking table - not in specific situations where it may well be warranted, but where every hand is a big decision for multiple players.  It engenders timetilt, in me at least.

Noel Gaens and Jeff Lisandro lock horns, the former seeing his pre-flop raise of 3,700 raised to 13,700 by the Italian. However, he still called, and the two players saw (and checked) a 9d Qh 8c Flop.

Turn came the 8d, to which Noel checked and Jeff, slightly out of the blue, suddenly announced all-in.

Noel still had around 50k, so it was a big move from Jeff, but Noel folded nonetheless.

Jen's like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment.

Oh, and coincidentally, the bearer of the sugary gifts, Sorel Mizzi, has just moved all-in for 15k with Qs Ts only to be called by Noel Gaens in the big blind with Kh 5h.

The 6s Jd 8h Ac Flop and Turn looked good for Gaens, but he's been having a rough time of it recently, and could only bang the table, although hesitantly, as the River dealt out a vicious Qh.

Dave 'El Blondie' Colclough has dipped slightly, he's currently on 43k.

Meanwhile, Paul Gourlay has around 35k, although he did say, "I won 10k, but that was around an hour and a half ago!"

Jeff Wallace is a 24 year old who qualified online and made the long trek to France all the way from California. He usually plays fast but judging from the updates he may be card dead or just changing paces. Keep the updates coming, i appreciate them. Best of luck to him and everyone else for that matter.

Wasek Lukasz has doubled up. He raised it up to 4k with Ac Ad, and was silently overjoyed to see Guillaume de la Gorce move all-in behind him for around 20k more with Qh Qs.

Lukasz called like lightening, as you would, and fisted the air upon seeing the 2h Kh 4s 5d 2d board.

Gorce down to the felt.

Samir Shakhtoor Suckout News Now:

All-in with J-J against the Q-Q of Nikolai Evdakov, a Jack appearing on the river sparked a full table, "Oooh."  That caught our attention, which was held as they counted down Samir's stack - 62,700 which is now a very healthy double that, while his neighbour is down to around 40k.

Pictured as those large stacks are counted down and shipped to the sheepish Shakhtoor (pictured sitting).

Double takedown for Csaba Kuremski, with the monster known as Aspades 7s... 3k from Ramzi, call from Csaba, all-in from a short-stacked Antoine Chuzeville, Ramzi goes for it too, and Csaba Kuremski, covering them both, decides he wants in on it.

A wincing table says goodbye to both all-in players as they get outdrawn by what I am guessing was a flush.  "Nice hand Not," says a leaving Ramzi/Borat (out of table earshot, of course), understandably not best pleased.

Dinner break in 4 minutes.

Adrien Gavile raises to 3,500 from under the gun plus one only for Vikash Dhorasso to make it 8,000 from the big blind.

Adrien re-raised to 13,500 and Vikash called.

Flop = Q-3-7

Vikash pushed all-in and Adrien calls.

Vikash = Kh Js

Adrien = Ad Ac

Turn = 3

River = 5

Vikash leaves the cardroom.

Not sure that was the wises of moves there.  ;carlocitrone;

Applause for Antoine Nouel for a cracking Oscar winning performance and a nice bit of reverse psychology.

Facing a raise of 10k from Atanas Gueorguieu and a 9h-6c-6d Flop, Antoine huffed and puffed before suddenly announcing all-in, a pained expression on his face. Of course, everyone at the table assumed it was a bad acting job with a monster hand, especially Atanas who folded pretty swiftly, but Antoine surprised them all by turning over a quite possibly behind Ad-Qc.

Paul Gourlay went to dinner a short stack, tried to order Long Island Iced Tea, "to help get my chips in the middle," but they'd not heard of that particular concoction so he settled for three main courses and a vodka-lemonade.  The underfloor fish were enthralling as ever...

Table break!  45 players left...and we'd nearly sorted out who everyone was at the chip count.  All change...

Is this your mate?  He's a very uneven stacker, and guards his chips like so... so our counts are really best guesses.  At the dinner break he had 96,575 according to his post-it note - we genuinely wouldn't have known otherwise...

Ya, thats him.

He played live for his first time ever last Tuesday(1/2 NL), but he has been a very successful online player. He tells me that he is just trying to not give up anything, rather than trying to pick stuff up off of people. Is he holding true to that by never really making eye contact? Guess thats kind of a detailed question, but just wondering how he is doing... he's probably the last person I'd expect to play with a bunch of rich, classy europeans, at first he wasn't even allowed in(had to buy nicer shoes).

Thanks

Okay, quick quiz for you now, and Jen can join in with this one too...

With the blinds at 800 and 1,600 with a running ante of 150, Aleaksander Dzianisan raises to 11,000 under-the-gun.

Sorel announces 'raise' and puts in 4,450, only to be told that there had been a raise before him.

Sorel asks for a ruling from the floor, and is promptly told by the Tournament Director that he has to raise at least another 11,000 because he announcing the action verbally.

With this in mind, Sorel reluctantly puts in 22,000.

After everyone else had folded, play returns to Aleaksander Dziansan who swiftly moves all-in for the rest of his 20k (approx) chips.

Okay folks, time to guess the hands. What did Sorel and Aleaksander have?

There's a prize for the first correct answer.

Good news Blondie fans (not the band)...

Dave raises 5k from the button, David Redlin re-raises another 30k or so from the big blind, and Dave calls for his remaining 30k stack.

So Dave v Dave, the elder (Colclough) way in the lead with Ahrt Kd versus Aspades 9s, and even more so come the 3d Kh 5c board. 8c Turn, Qs River.

Title: Re: Grand Prix De Paris: Day 2 - Interactive

Paul Gourlay limps on the button for 1,600, small blind Will Ma completes and big blind Ram Vaswani checks.  Flop:  Qd Aspades 6s  Check to Paul, who bets 2,600.  Ram calls.
Turn:  Qh  check-check
River:  Kd  Ram bets out 7k.  Paul counts it out - it's just over half his stack... eventually he throws it in, and shows Ahrt Th, splitting the pot with Ram's Ad 8d.

Janne Lamsa is OUT - a pretty much auto-all-in with a very short stack (something tells me I just missed a hand where he lost most of his chips, although was never on a particularly big stack today) it was up to Nikolas Liakos to make the call of just a few thousand - not sure exactly how much, he said, "It doesn't matter - I call" showing Ad Ks, good against the final Qc 3d of Lamsa.

I wasn't the only want to be surprised by Sorel's hand, especially after he went to the fuss of asking for the TD. Apparently he did raise by mistake, and he had no intention of smooth calling with Kings, but personally I just didn't think it was worth it as the initial raiser clearly had a big hand (under the gun raise remember) and was never going to fold after sticking so much of his stack in the middle.

However, Sorel thought it was worth an act in order to tease someone behind him into detecting weakness and pushing over the top.

Sorel Mizzi gets involved in a big pot against button Vivian Anseline... caught it on the turn with the board 9d 8s Kh 7d.  Sorel bet out 16k into a pot which had already reached the 20k mark, and after a suitable dwell, Vivian moved in.  It was just 13k more for Sorel to call with his 4d 5d, which he duly did, finding his opponent holding 9c 9s, and rivering the fourth Nine for good measure.  Down to 36k for Mizzi (pictured).

Meanwhile over on Table Deeb (where Freddy is less than delighted with the chat of Kirill Rabtsov and happy to tell him so, after one of those funny French rulings allowed him to do whatever it was he was doing )...

Johan Storakers, short stack, picrured, moves in preflop over a standard raise, only to get back his 19k plus the chips in the centre.  He shows Kc Kh and the others are in no hurry, it looks like, to take him on when he commits chips.

This hand didn't involve the pictured Sorel Mizzi, but included the two players sandwich either side of him: Ram Vaswani and Eric Koskas.

Koskas raised it up pre-flop (and under-the-gun) to 5,500, only to receive two smooth callers (the call is smooth not Gourlay  ;hide;) in Paul Gourlay and Ram Vaswani.

Flop = Qs Qc 5c

Koskas pushes all-in for 34.5k, Paul folds, albeit after a brief session in the think tank, and Ram nonchalantly calls.

Ram = Ac 8c

Koskas = 6c 6s

Turn = 2c

River = 4h

... and Koskas is gone.

To my delight, I said to Dutch blogger Vincent that I thought Paul had either Eights or Nines, and I was right, he'd let go of the latter.

Speak of the devil, Paul 'Rocket Man' Gourlay has just doubled up against Ram Vaswani, all the chips flying in on a 5h 8s Qh, Ram's plea of "Show me a flush draw" with Ahrt 8h goes unanswered as Paul turns over Ks Qd.

Turn = 6s

"Black," demands Gourlay, whose prayers were answered.

River = 6d

Paul now up to around 70k with 35 players left.

Runar Runarsson doubles up courtesy of Nichlas Saarisilta:  Runar raised to 6,400 (the blinds now 1,200/2,400) on the cutoff, and found Nichlas on the button re-raising a further 10k.  Runar shoved when it got back to him (another 17k, it looked like) and got a quicker-than-expected call from Nichlas with his Jh Tc.  Runar's Qh Qs held up, although a flopped Jack might have increased the tension a little.
_________________________

Samir Shakhtoor raised to 5,800 on the cutoff, called by small blind Will Ma.  Flop:  3d Qs 5h  Check-check.  Turn:  2s  Will bets out 7k, gets a prompt raise to 24k and passes.

Nikolas Liakos has just doubled up in relatively easy circumstances.

Samir Shakhtoor made it 5,200 from the button, Nikolas Liakos re-raised to 16,700 from the small blind, Samir asked how much he had left, the answer was 36k (36.2k to be precise), Samir put him all in, Nikolas called instantly.

Nikolas = Ac Ad

Samir = Kd 9c

Board = 6c 8d 5c Th 6d

tikay misread perhaps?

I think he was just reading the updates, (if he has the same Blonde name as his online name), so I'd assume he's gone.

Yes, I'm afraid he slipped under the radar not too long ago, but is definitely OUT.

From what I heard, he raised with 8-5, received one caller and called a push with bottom pair and a straight draw. That was from the mouth of Paul Gourlay though, I'm sure Sorel will confirm himself if he's watching.

Rocket Man Report 2 !!

Three cocktails later, still in the bar with snoops discussing day 3 strategy, tried to order a white russian, the barman thought i was asking if he spoke russian, i gave up!!!

Summary of Day 3 strategy.... in short... make day 4!!!!

I am just happy to still be in with the cards i have had to endure today. I just wish i could have had day 1s cards today and todays cards on day 1. I am not kidding you on day one i had  Ad Ac,  Kh Ks, Qs Qh, Ad Ac, i limped with small pocket pairs and hit trips 7 times out of 8 thats no exageration ask Pete Gould he was sat next to me.. I never got paid once !!!!!!

Today I have had absolutely FFFU ***** aLL  !!!!!!!

The one valuable thing I have had today is an advanced lesson in tourney poker, even though i have never been above average all day, i have watched and learnt a few things on how to play an above average stack, at the latter stages of a tourney from the an experienced table. I say learn't i have always known what u should do, but never had the balls and or the conviction that it was in fact the right thing to do!.  To see Ram, Mizzi and Lisandro tear chunks of each other and some unsuspecting frenchies was.... interesting.

They where all up and down, and Mizzi ended up throwing his chips away, but some of the calls raises and reraises with VERY MEDIOCRE HANDS was special.

Still no White Russian, snoops wants to mark my report before hometime so im off.
