And it's hardly the best flop to do this with nothing, given that you've made a reraise that looks like it wants a call.
The flop connects with so much of his range that I'd have thought the chances of being well behind here are substantial. And if he's drawing then that's likely to be a flush draw with straight draw or pair with a straight/flush draw, and pretty much a coinflip. I can't see much that you're well ahead of. I guess if he has got some sort of combi draw then you might just about be able to call here and shove a blank turn without quite giving him odds to call (as a alternative to shoving the flop). But again, factoring in the times he's got you beat anyway I can't really see how this would help. I play lower stakes than this, but that's my opinion FWIW. Title: Re: Whats your move here? Post by: deepreacher on June 11, 2007, 10:18:53 AM In my opinion you have to reraise much bigger pre flop. With the money already in the pot I make it $60ish to go. The raise to $38 just bloats the pot and leaves you in a tough spot v 2 opponents with a marginal hand.
Oh and BTW in my experience with Dac he is a calling station pre flop. Once he has entered a pot Pre Flop he never seems to fold if it is reraised - (or mayb thats just against me) Title: Re: Whats your move here? And even if you feel you have to you havent reraised enough and are pretty much guarenteed to be playing the pot out of position. reraise more, or not at all.
