If CL takes both of you out you still get third so that's fine..if the shortstack has the aces you will probably win the side pot which is bigger than your chipstack currently is.

Looking at the result, you called and you didn't survive, and it looked like the short-stack won the hand, and the big stack the side pot.
Can you lay down kings here? I don't think I could. You win the hand, and you're chip leader and it's down to the last three.
