fold pre flop what is the need in getting involved in this sort of hand when your wanting to hit that exact flop, maybe  5s 9h Ad instead but other than that, this is the flop you were gambling on werent you? if you hit this flop and then decide against going with it, what did u want to flop? house? nut str8? isnt 2 pair good enough for this sort of hand as nobody can put u on it most of the time.

Fold pre flop, this hand has little potential you have to play the whole hand oop. Playing hands out of the blinds deep as most cash players will tell you is often -ev as you have to play the whole hand at a disadvantage, position is key in the no limit.

As played i lead this flop it is quite a wet board and im leading for value as the limpers will call with inferior hands and bulid the pot for us. Once it all kicks off after your check raise and im sure your beat by at least one of them. Expect to see a set and 87 alot here. The check raise has defined your hand as super strong and still no one cares.

anyone who doesn't make the SB up with any 2 potentially live cards in the first levels of an MTT should be shot and killed IMO. You've got the stack to make up the SB and therefore should never fold into an unopened pot.

You've hit the flop and hit it pretty hard. The BB leads out and is quite clearly not afraid of your reraise you can put him on anything from 56 or 96 to 78 and the nut flush draw. The guy who limping could very well have a big overpair here.(aces not ruled out but he could indeed have hit his set..unlikely..he could even have 78 suited as he limped from UTG.) The only hands you really fear from the BB are the 78 (and why would he reraise all in with that? surely he's not too scared of the flush coming out?) and the 96. The only hand you fear from UTG boy is the same 78..he is the more likely of the 2 two have that as he happily keeps calling the raises.

You're deep enough to fold here..in fact the fold after the action on the fop can be argued quite easily and convincingly. I however think there are only 2 real hands that are beating you (a set and a 78)and only one guy is likely to possibly have that hand (the BB having a 78) however I've seen too many people play the FD from the Bb this way and the other guy limping with aces or kings and getting caught on the flop but unwilling to lay them down.

you could easily fold or stick half your chips in the middle and still have plenty of play left if indeed you are behind..but I'm halfway to certain by now BB is on a FD..the only question is does UTG limp preflop with 78 suited?

this is quite interesting. i have usually always completed from the sb wiv any 2 when blinds are this small and i have deep stack, but after chatting wiv mariners and reading ur comments, it is something i am going to review.

Sorry, not too familiar with Full Tilt tournos - I assume this is a freezeout and not a rebuy?  Is it Level 3 after starting with 2k chips?

I would have passed preflop as well.  However it is pretty close now you've landed yourself amongst all that action and I think and my move would probably depend on my current mood (hence my massive variance in MTTs  :) )

A lot of time i'd instacall as they could easily have draws/overpairs etc and I can't get knocked out.  However if I sat and thought about it for a bit (which i'm trying to do more often....) I would probably pass.  It's all too easy to get a bit optimistic about your opponents possible holdings.

yeah, freezeout, start wiv 3k in chips, actually at level 5 now. 10min blinds: - 15/30 20/40 25/50 30/60 40/80....

Fold preflop too, playing with rags like that is part of the reason I often get/got in trouble, so easy to be beaten.

I'd ignore the chat, he could be enticing you in or telling the truth, you just don't know.

That said, call the all in's.  You have them both well covered and can make a comeback if you lose the pot but will have a lovely stack should you win.

Online tournament players play a flush draw + 2 overs like its the immortal nuts.
Everyone had a piece of the pie, good call in the end, you were right. U+D STFLDraw must have been peeved.

I had one with the nuts and one with the flush draw here. I would have folded this. And I would have played it preflop too.
