Title: Re: cold deck or bad play Post by: AdamG on September 16, 2007, 01:02:31 AM once he check raises u on flop, put him on monster, since u pot it with really, not much of a draw, only 1 pair and str8 draw... u hit ur set but its omaha, most of time ur behind here espesh when uv been check raised flop...
i think u shud get away on flop for cheap or turn for slightly more expensive... he says to u ... give me more money, so u did. Title: Re: cold deck or bad play Post by: NoflopsHomer on September 16, 2007, 01:34:49 AM I don't like the pot bet without a f-draw on the flop, I check behind on turn since you're most likely dead or miles ahead, and then check/call river if I make fh.
Title: Re: cold deck or bad play Post by: KarmaDope on September 16, 2007, 03:23:02 PM I believe that firstly you shoot Colchester Kev for giving you a rigged deck, as there appears to be two 4s in there!

Title: Re: cold deck or bad play Post by: Benny Brox on September 16, 2007, 08:11:41 PM The turn is a deceiving card, initially it looks like it helps you. You have trips but you're using the two 4s on the board rather than two in your hand, this turn 4 also reduces the value of your straight draw as this can make a house. Whenever there is a paired board I'm always cautious, I'd check the turn here, if you hit a full you'll be paying it off.
Omaha can be a sick sick game at times, are you seriously meant to get away from the 2nd nut full house? Got bombed out of a tourney yesterday, had Q9J10, flop came QQK, check check, turn a 9 and dumped my chips off to KKxx! 50p Title: Re: cold deck or bad play Post by: Ironside on September 16, 2007, 10:03:32 PM as it happens i would of made boat on river but it was of little thought seeong as i was drawing dead
