Post by: Mrs C on October 27, 2005, 07:40:49 PM
Blondes WILL have more fun.

I have just added some new theme/skins and avatars.

To change the current theme please do the following:
Go to your profile by clicking on the 'profile' button above
In the menu on the left hand side look under the modify profile menu heading and click on 'look and layout preferences'
At the top in the main area find the title: current theme and click on the 'change' link
Here you will find a list of themes. they are thumnailed and you can either apply or preview the theme.

To change your personal pic or avatar please do the following:
Again hit the 'profile' button above
look under the modify profile menu heading and click on 'forum profile information'
Here you can either choose an avatar by clicking the personalize picture radio button and selecting the relevnt image.
OR
If you have your own image you would like to upload please e-mail me at webmaster@blondepoker.com or pm me.

Enjoy!

you don't know the significance of what you say!!
At work i'm a coordinator (an old fashioned foreman i suppose, though i report only to the MD), there are 4 of us coordinators and we each have "our" areas and employees to bully look after.
The thing is we have:-
forming
finishing
machining
special

guess which is "my" area!!

Fot those that have not tried this yet, there are about 7 or 8 different "themes" you can use for the Forum, these are different background colours & layouts.

At THIS moment we have the following "counts" of members using these different "themes",...

Classic, 3

Apollo 5

Cerberus 9

Helios 5

Lutr Red 0

Nightfall 5

Default 1,662.

So, Default has a narrow advantage so far......

I changed my theme to Cerberus and then 1 minute later my screen went all blue (Screen of death) and my laptop restared itself.

oooo. Not sure what happened there. Has anyone else had any problems like this?

I am currently using cerberus also, I love it.

I have just added another theme cool metal, for those who like a lighter screen.

I am using the Apollo theme (but this problem also happens on all the other themes I have tried)....

I have Heid on my Blonde Buddy List, but not Tikay (sorry Tikay).  Why does Heid have that blank space in between her 5 stars and her online status, where some sort of image/pic should be (defined by the red cross).  All other buddies on my list have this red cross.

If I take Heid off my buddy list the cross disappears and it reverts to looking like Tikays does.

Err, I am sure I SHOULD know this, but in blonde Forum terms, what IS a buddy?

You can select in the options to have people on a buddy list, so they bolded on the who's online on the homepage of the forum.

Alternately, you can also have a lust of people you want to ignore :)

on the page where you have the list of the forums - right at the bottom is a list of everyone that is online at anyone time.

If you have buddies on the list - they are in bold on that list and it tells you how many of your buddies are online.

just a bit easier to see peeps straight away rather than search throught that list of everyone who is online

A "lust" of people. True, true, I've always had that problem. I've loved & lust many a time. Can't get either these days.
