Title: bank roll for vegas?
Post by: cia260895 on January 18, 2008, 08:00:29 PM
Have been given the green light by the wife to go to Vegas for 2 weeks alone or with m8s but how much bank roll should be put aside for entry fees? i am more of a mtt n/l holdem player than anything else and am not interested in slots/roulette/craps etc. Knowing absolutely no one whose been i ain't got a Danny about it so how much do the different mtt's cost? and are they all with dealers? any info or links will help the cause and fund gathering..

Take it from me. DONT go alone.

By this I mean pokerwise.

I have been on my own twice now and when I wasnt in tourneys I was playing cash - with no concept of time you can easily be playing for 2 days straight and not realise it!

Go with some friends, that way, when you are not playing tourneys you can go out and do the touristy stuff.

Mind you, maybe you are the type of person that can do that anyway.

Ok, but remember to do something else though, it is very easy to burn yourself out.

With no concept of time - I cant explain it, but once you have been you will know what I mean.
