Is it just me or are the DTD payout structures wrong ? I was a bit vexed in the friday £75 a couple weeks back but only making £200 for 12th in a 2 day event seems like not even worth entering to me...

Not 1 hand on either table ever ends up in a walk for the big blind ... there always seems to be a pre flop raise somewhere ...

That is until Mickey Wernick passes his small blind to Andrew James ... Andrew Winces and sighs loudly as he flips the BBTASTIC  Ad Ahrt.

Mickey praises himself for passing his  5c 2s on the SB and reminds everyone how this game is all down to timing.

You could try to finish better than 12th....

It was a good schedule which allowed for plenty of play! i managed to scrape through to Day 2 with a short stack of 22,400 after having some of the best luck ive had at poker! i won 8 50/50 races coming from behind every time and hitting the river 7/8 times! I started day 2 picking up a few pots from the button, on the 3rd lap i pushed on the button for 18k with  Ahrt 5h! SB folds and Des in the BB says '' i think your bluffing! i think you've got nothing!" he the called off half his stack with  Qc 3c! WTF? No Ladyluck for me this time as he spikes a Q on the river! Thx for the support guys ... i seem to come across as a donk in these updates but i never got my chips in worse than 40/60 and the notorious A2 call was based on the fact i put him on absolute trash and he had... trash

wp fran u played a great tournament played the short stack well and stepped up a gear at the right time just didnt get the hand when u needed the crucial double to take me and des on 3 handed ul next time ull do it... just remember get em in lol

I'll have much to say - too much, probably - about the Event, the players, & DTD generally, in my Diary.

What a wonderful weekend, & I'm proud to be part of DTD & blonde.

gg all. glad to have discovered these forums by being on the same table as so many ppl on here for so long. the updates were excellent, as was the tournament. my 4 handed game really did let me down as i think it was quite clear to see, but never mind i'm nowhere near as experienced as any of the other 3. still £3290 isn't a bad return on a £44 satellite investment :p.

Yea wp andi ul with the A8 final hand but u were too low for me not to set u in.... great updates by the way reading them back made me laugh kev u got a sense of humour and floppy ur a sick puppy lol

Back home now... had some kip and recovered the lost sleep LOL.

I wanted to say a few thanks to wrap things up from the weekend, Firstly Thanks to Simon Trumper for looking after me and flopps so well on the Saturday, we had a prime spot from which to update and were looked after with Brews whenever we wanted one. Also a big thanks to Danny and all the floor staff, they kept us supplied with names and seat positions throughout.

I would like to thank Floppy for booking the only hotel in the whole of bloody england that has no car park !!! the closest one required a shuttle bus to take you to and from the hotel to the car park ... sigh!

Thanks also to all the players over the weekend, they were all very helpful with being asked for chip counts etc, and made my job quite easy considering...

And thanks to everyone who read the updates and joined in ... even if it was just to take the piss LOLOL...

Its no fun trying to update to a bare thread, the interaction and involvement from the readers is what makes blondes updates unique... so please carry on doing what you do, it really helps and it adds to the updates when you get involved.

Also kudos to all the finalists, great to see some familiar faces among them, and grats to Pete Linton on the scoop.

So to sum up, A great weekend, I thoroughly enjoyed myself doing the updates .. I hope you enjoyed reading them, cos who knows.... I might get asked to do them again one day !!

Must admit I rarely venture into the live updates but did so this time out of interest to see how the various blondes were faring.
