Post by: danafish on April 05, 2008, 12:55:33 AM
Hi-de-hi all, and welcome to the DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) Monthly £300-er! I must confess that I am currently curled up on my sofa with the TV on, but come 8pm tomorrow Snoops and I will be up in Nottingham, hopefully full of some kind of delicious DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) dinner and all ready to bring you a veritable cornucopia of updating treats.

Feel free in the meantime to bok yourself on the interactive thread if you're playing, or your friends if they're playing, and we'll keep our eagle eyes (http://thumbs.photo.net/photo/2230387-sm.jpg) out come tomorrow night.

Junglecat and Floppy say hello from San Remo!

Hello!  Or :hello: as Mclovin might say.

We are well and truly here, although currently it's really only me, Snoops, Tightend and some people who work here seeing as they don't actually open until 7. This is what that looks like:

Nevertheless we understand that within the hour the cavernous cardroom will be literally heaving with poker players of every variety. There are currently 65 players registered and we expect an absolute bunch (technical term) more to sign themselves up for the "3" in the "3-2-1" thingy before 8pm.

In the meantime, we have of course checked into our hotel for the night, and look which room they gave us! Here is Snoops modeling that awesome room number plaque, and simultaneously totally failing to look suave or, indeed, sophisticated:

See you at 8pm!

Ok, the lady at the desk said no player list for an hour, but as I trudged back to my laptop, a gent appeared waving the ludicrous piece of paper below appeared. It is amazingly a kind of player list - we're missing at least half a table, but it should give you a decent idea for the time being. Enjoy!

Table 37 - otherwise known as Table "Easy BB for PocketLady to pick up"
Lam Trinh
Abdul Rashid
Danielle Allen
tikay
Shane Bunyan
Michael Cook
Kevin Noble
Agy Costanti

Um, I'm afraid that in a spectacular example of early bokkage, Ms Allen is OUT. Tikay called me over to the table while Danielle was mid-dwell - the flop was 6d 3h 6h and the dwell so long that I had ample time to scurry over. She had, I believe, raised preflop and had been called by Mr Agy Costanti; he had bet the flop, she had raised and he shoved.

So after that mammoth dwell, she called.

Danielle Allen - Jh Jc
Agy Costanti - 6c 9s

Turn - the decisive 9d
River - the probably unneccesary 9c

Also OUT, though in circumstances unknown, is Mr Billy Ngo, formerly of Table 27.

------------

Good news for Barbara fans, Chili is now up to 21k after triumphing in a monster three way pot. My source was Simon Trumper, but Chili also echoed his report. I wasn't blessed with tales of betting action, but I do know that Chili had Q-9 versus the A-9 of David Barnett (pictured below) on a 9-9-x-Q-x board. Another player also dipped his toes into hot water with a flush draw, but to no avail, to leave a restrained and not yet excitable Chili to conclude, "I start comps well, it's just my end game that's rubbish."

Extremo-shortstack Mr Dharminder Buttar of Table 27 has doubled up in some wise holding Jacks against Mr Gamal Mosleh's Sevens. He is still short though.

Ms Fran Creed would like it to be known that her table features last month's winner Mr Nick Marshall and also last month's official second-placer ("that guy over there," according to Fran). She has yet to really make any moves.

Meanwhile Lucy Rokach has her aggression dial turned up to 11 already. Her 350 preflop raise is called by Trevor Reardon, but he backs off when she fires out another 725 on the 3c 2d 3h flop. Rokach - slightly over 10k. Reardon - slightly under 10k.

A big hand on Table Karabiner (the table numbering system here is entirely alien to me, so I shall largely be just making it up from here on in).

With a considerable bunch of chips in the middle and the board reading 6h 2d 3h 6c 2c, Paul Thompson bets out 1875, only for a gentleman I believe is Andreas Olympios to min-raise. Actually at first he tries to raise to 3k before the dealer corrects him. I also, I should add, at this point feel pretty bad for Paul Thompson - his right arm is in a sling and it took him such a long time to count out 1875 with his left hand, and then the other guy goes and raises him. Most inconsiderate. Anyway, Thompson passes pretty sharpish. "I was beating you until that last Two," says he. Ben Callinan is asking Mr Probably Olympios if he had quad Deuces. It turns out not - he had a Six for the full house, indeed miles ahead on the river of Mr Thompson's straight...

Mr Neil Henshaw, currently on around 7.5k.

He's been moved to Inexplicably Numbered Table 11, on the bottom tier of this Grand Ole Opry Theatre-Style Arrangement of poker. He's sharing a table with Jim Moult, who's on around his 10k starting stack.

I should really add here that inexplicable though I find it, the staff know exactly what they're doing with the awesome computer system thingy they have set up - in fact the only reason I could find Mr Henshaw at all was because their computer system thingy is so awesome. Awesome work, whoever thunk that up.

Any news on Evil Pie?

Yes! Here he is, indeed looking pretty damn evil:

Just as soon as I can be bothered, I will photoshop an actual pie on to his head or some such. He's on an extremely comfortable 18k, and sharing a table with Dave Smith, himself on 16.5k, and resplendent in new hat, like so:

Things That Have Happened Recently While I Have Been Uploading Photos

Mad Turk is down to just 800 - "I had an accident." Said accident seems to have involved representing the nut straight to a gentleman who was actually holding the nut straight.

A possible contender for Name Of The Day, Fan Cao, is OUT in circumstances unknown.

Pete Linton has doubled up with some predictably raggy cards - this time 8h 9h for a flopped flush and possible straight flush draw that didn't come in. I'm afraid I'm not sure whose chips they were at the beginning of the hand as I only arrived as Pete was raking them in, but judging by the number of chips in front of them/expressions one their faces, I suspect it was either David "Le Knave-id" Jones, or perhaps Chase Wilson to his right.

Mr Lam Trinh has won a HUUUGE pot, but I'm afraid  got there a little too late to get any more details than that. A HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE pot.

Also Ms Fran Creed is OUT to a gentleman not on our player list (must have been on one of those pesky missing tables - I'm getting us a complete list but for the time being he will be known as Mario C) - Mario raised pre and she called with A-Q. Flop came down Q-9-x and they wasted no time in getting in all in. An Ace on the turn, but a blank on the river and she's gone.

Yes yes, sorry, Mario had 99, meant to say that...

Players are back from a short break now.

A couple of players who just before the break had not really moved from their starting stacks:

Julian Thew

Btw Mr Simon Trumper was reading the updates and took pity on my total incomprehension of DTD's actually very ingenious table-numbering system. The tables are numerically arranged in rows, from the front of the room to the back, which gives us the first digit of the table number, and the second digit is determined by counting along the row from left to right. Apparently they previously had letters of the alphabet for the rows, but the little handheld computer malarkeys that the valets are using don't have any letters on, so they arrived at this system. Still confused? He most helpfully drew me a little plan of the room to illustrate:

"That Kev sure likes to talk," reports Ralph 'karabiner' Shalson speaking of neighbour and former Gala regular Kevin Lund. "I put on my head phones to concentrate, and he just moved closer."

But judging by the chip counts, Kev has good reason to feel talkative, as he's riding high with a near 20k stack. Karabiner, meanwhile, has just this second departed, raising to 800 with A-Q, being re-raised to 2,700 by a limper before calling and pushing all-in on the raggy Flop. His opponent inevitably called and showed Aces. "I stopped and go into Aces," he concluded with a grimace.

------------

Serial chip go getter Pete Linton is up to 31k. He flopped a flush with 9-8s on a Jack high board and was, much to his surprise, paid off by Chase Wilson's J-4. I think Pete reputation worked in his favour there, but then again, I would have called the tea-leaf with bottom pair if it were me.

Apparently there are some kind of technical difficulties with the system at the desk as well - I went back to ask if I could have a full player list, but the gentleman there told me that something in the system has changed since last month and they are no longer able to print or email us a player list, unless we are prepared to wait a few days for him to call the IT engineer-types and for them to get back to him. :( Alas, no full player list for us today - sorry, Horneris. Hopefully full player lists will be back next month...

Meanwhile I can say with relative confidence that our current chip leader is Chili, with around 40k. She tells me she had 32k at the break, and has since knocked out a player. Said player raised her blind, and Chili re-raised with A-K; Mr Player called. The flop came down a not-very-good-if-you-have-A-K 9-T-J, but Chili put him in anyway, figuring it was worth a gamble - Mr Player called with pocket Eights for a pair and a straight draw, but no straight and a King on the river sent him packing.

Assorted chip counts, photos etc.

Matt Tyler - not actually 37k as he claims, but in reality 3.7k and a single Maoam candy atop his stack. Looks to be either strawberry or cherry flavour.
Nick Hicks - 7.5k
Lucy Rokach - around 15k
Alan Vinson - around 25k
Chris Bruce - 8k
tikay - 6k

My apologies if Dana reported this earlier on (I couldn't spot anything), but a big scoop that we may have missed was the exit untimely exit of Simon Nowab. It wasn't the most fortunate of hands, and it certainly didn't come particularly late in the day as the opening line reveals...

The blinds were 25 50 and with five limpers in front of him, Simon made it 450 to play with A-K. They all folded round to one chap who dwelled before calling. The Flop came A-A-8. Mateyboy bet out 1k, Chubbs made it 3k and Mateyboy pushed all-in. Chubbs, perhaps semi-reluctantly, made the call, only to be shown A-8.

Personally, I think it was a bit of a cooler, but is there an argument there to say Simon could have folded. Would any of you guys have let it go?

"A-Q or A-J, I think I could have got away from it," added Chubbs.

-----------

Ben Callinan has tripled up! He found himself all-in with Td-Th vs. 9c-9s vs. As-7s on a 2s-3c-7c Flop. Kc and Qs Turn and River now means he's shot up to 27k.

Title: Re: DTD Monthly £300 Freezeout Day 1 - At A Glance
Post by: snoopy1239 on April 05, 2008, 11:56:00 PM
The ever-talkative Raj Dhiri has doubled up and eliminated a Mateyboy. Raj limp called a pre-flop raise of 700, before checking a Q-T-3 rainbow Flop and hitting a loverly jubberly Four on the Turn. Raj bet 1.7k, Mateyboy made it 3.4k and Mateyboy pushed all-in. Raj called quicker than a cheetah on roller-skates only to find his dejected opponent drawing dead with A-T. Raj now on 17k.

-----------

"I've been Thewed (Mallued is so last season)," weeps 'Rana' Harpit Gurnham. "I had Aces, Kings and Queens three times and lost with all of them. The last one I raised it up with Queens and Julian called. The Flop came Nine high with two diamonds, Julian bet out, I raised, he re-raised and I pushed all-in. He asked how much it was and announced that he couldn't really fold before calling and flipping A-9 of diamonds. Blank turn was followed by a black Nine on the River, and that was that, the nasty way of losing the hand."

The below gentleman, sitting in the seat designated for Ginikachukwu Izuogu but looking probably a bit too Caucasian to have a name like that, calls a 1500 bet from Mr Ramazanali Abbassi on a Th 4h 3c Qh board. The river come the 8d and he moves in. "Have you got a flush?" sighs Abbassi and calls; indeed he does, and it's the best kind he could possibly have on that board, it's the Ahrt Jh nut flush. Mr Probably Not Izuogu doubles up to 11k and Mr Abbassi mucks.

Chili has now moved to Table 33, where she seems to be getting some respect. Mr Seat 8, probably Gerald McInally (in the stripy sweater below - can anyone confirm?) bets 1000 on a 6s 3c 2c flop - both Mr Seat 1, probably Martin Reeve (in the red below) and Chili call.

Turn - 8s and Mr Probably McInally in seat 8 bets 2k; Mr Probably Reeve makes it All In. Chili passes but Mr McInally calls.

Mr Probably McInally in Seat 8 - Ac 7c
Mr Probably Reeve in Seat 1 - 6d 6c

Chili is muttering that she also had a Six. Mr Seat 8 is telling the table that he wouldn't have dreamed of calling Chili had she made the move instead of Mr Probably Reeve (there's the respect, right there!) but this is how it turned out...

River - Ahrt which obviously does not give Mr Probably McInally a flush, and Mr Probably Reeve doubles up.

I stroll by Pete Linton's table to see him bet out 3-point-some k on a K-Q-4-5 board. His opponent sighs and passes an Ace face up. Pete shows him a Three. I believe he had raised this hand preflop. Possibly it was K-3. Possibly it was not. "I saw that," say I. "I'm reporting that."

He tells me there's been a measure of Irish Open-stylee sucking out too - apparently he moved in with middle pair against Keith Littlewood's two pair, obviously got himself called, and made good like a very lucky boy. Apparently Keith smacked him over the head a bit for it, but it sounds like he sort of deserved it so there's no hard feelings. On his part, anyway.

Call him a rock no more, because in the space of just seven levels (yes, you heard me right, just seven levels), Marc Hodge has gone from 10k to 5k to 14k and boasting a day of yoyo-ing that even the Thewster himself would be proud of. Well, okay, he's played two hands, the latest of which saw his Pocket Queens survive a flopped flush draw to shoot him up to 14k. What have they done?! They've created a monster!

Agy Constanti -- 33k
Marc Hodge -- 14k
Dominic Kay -- 18k
Julian Thew -- 10.5k
Keir Fitzgibbon -- 5.3k
Danny Rudd -- 9.5k

Martyn Reeve -- 4.8k
Trevor Reardon -- 13.5k
Alan Davies -- 20.9k

"Good game! Good game!" thought Chris Bruce as he found himself all-in with A-9 versus Kevin Lund's A-K. But a nine on the Flop was a Brucie bonus, and a Kingless Turn and River was nice to see, to see, nice. As a result, Bruce doubles up to 8k. Woweeeeee.

----------

Julian Thew is down to 10.5k after running into Mick Jones. Julian called a 600 bet with A-7 on an A-7-J all heart Flop and then called a 13k all-in from Mick. Mick showed Kh-Th and hit a Queen to take the pot.

----------

Simon Lawlor, Redsimon on blonde, has just above his starting stack. He was down to the felt at one point, but tripled up with A-J vs. K-Q vs. K-Q.

WEATHER UPDATE FROM MY CIGARETTE BREAK:

Bitterly cold and snowing heavily, even though it was sunny before.

TIKAY UPDATE FROM BEFORE MY CIGARETTE BREAK:

I thought I was taking a heartless photo of the Great Man busting out, but he was merely moving tables. Might not be long, though - he's on 4.5k, with the blinds going up to 200/400. Having a lovely time, though, as not evident from this photo.

Alan Davies is OUT - he found Kings but the Matey-gent two to his left found Aces. No help from the board, which read exactly 5d 7s 8h 9h 7d.

Looking sad - Chris Bruce on 4.5k

Looking just massively pleased with himself - Pete Linton on a whopping probably-the-chip-leader 68k

Looking absolutely impassive - LeKnave, on around 15k

Danny Rudd is OUT. According to my secret source, Jim Moult called from the small blind and Mateyboy re-raised from the big. The Ruddster pushed with Eights, only to be snap-called by Kings, and that was all she wrote, although I don't know who 'she' is or what the eck she was writing when that phrase was coined.

Alas, like all good train journeys, there must be a terminus, and tikay's station was Level 7. All-in with A-Q versus the A-9 of Kanabar Hiren, the dealer switched off the ol fella's life support machine by laying a 2-4-5-9-4 board onto the felt.

Chip leaders:

Pete Linton -- 62k
Tony Nichols -- 47k
Bing Donh -- 46k
Dave Smith -- 45k
Joe Stevenson -- 44.5k

any news on any swansea lads

I know it's possibly 7 pages too late, but, as you can imagine, it's tricky to work out which players are from Swansea just by looking at them. However, just out of pure luck, I stumbled upon Swansea's own Martyn Reeve who retold his recent tale of departure. Unable to find a hand all day, Martyn raised from the button with a 6k stack, only to be the re-raised all-in by the big blind. Martyn believed he was against a overcards, so took a shot, but was unable to earn that much needed double through as he failed to survive a coinflip against A-J.

---------

Also dust biting is Wade Ashraf. He ran A-Q into Queens and is now in search of a fruity cash game.

Pete Linton is suddenly most upset - he'd got himself up to the heady heights of a definitely-chip-leading 75k, and then he done gone and lost a 50k pot, most unfortunately. Apparently the gentleman next to him, whom Pete does not right now think is a gentleman, called for a gutshot and hit - I believe Pete had A-Q and his neighbour J-T, all in on an A-Q-rag flop.

Pete still on a moderately-chip-leading 50k though.

The slightly blurry gentleman below is OUT to the rather more in focus, possibly as befits the guy who has won the hand, Maz Charalambous. Mr Blurry raises and Mr Charalambous announces all in - after some dwellage, Mr Blurry calls.

Mr Charalambous -  Aspades Ks
Mr Blurry -  Jh Ts

Board - a decisive 4c 4s 9s Kc Ahrt

An interesting hand from Table Chili -

Chili makes it 1200 utg, and quite possibly she has been doing this sort of thing a lot because the gentlemen in seats 6 and 9 both call her. Matt Tyler in the big blind, however, decides to go all in. One by one they all pass. Matt shows Ac Kh. As I wander off, he and Chili are debating it - I believe (only so much info you can get eavesdropping in a big loud room, that might be something I just made up) that Chili had pocket Sixes. Matt now up to a totally-more-than-he-started-with 12.5k.

Andrew Woods has gone phallic on our asses with two ginormous towers of greens and yellows. His latest scalp was neighbour Paul Thompson who pushed in from the big blind with Fives only to find that Woodsey had found Jacks under the gun. A T-7-2-4-K board was no good, and Thompson was given his marching orders.

---------

Recently spotted pushing like a Salt N Pepper fanatic was blondeite Nirvana, known by his mother as Glen Henderson. Glen moved over the top of Ramazanali Abbassi's initial raise for a total of 6,675, meaning it was just 3,475 more for Ramazanali to see a showdown. Of course, he did indeed make the near obligatory call, only to find that his Jh Th was in hot water against Glen's dominating Qd Qh. The 3c Ks 9d Flop brought a potentially painful gutshot draw ("it's never easy," claimed Glen) only for the Turn and River to bring blanks and give Glen a much needed double through.

---------

Mick Jones has lost a big pot courtesy of Lucy Rokach and is now back down to his starting stack, maybe slighty less. I leapt over like a panther on a trampoline just in time to catch Mick call a chunky river bet on a 6d 9c 8c Jd Tc board. Mick showed 7c 5c for the flush, but Lucy's Kc 3c lapped up the the pot. "I flopped the straight," sighed a disgruntled Mick.

Sam Trickett is definitely out. He still had his hat on, but was wearing it over by the cash games.

Matt Doyle has doubled up and is now on 34.5k, although his facial expression and body language is still exactly the same.

Richard Hawes is still plugging away, but struggling somewhat woth 17k.

Matt 'Roundhead' Tyler delighted me when he announced 34k, which is exactly what I had written on my pad. Yay, clever me!

Omg, a bizarre-o rollercoaster ride for Pete Linton.

First he storms over, fuming. "I just lost a 100k pot," fumes he. In between fumes, I discover that he had got himself involved with a raggy Ace of some sort and then misread the situation when he hit. His opponent was also holding a raggy Ace, but had made two pair. "I had a pair of Aces, that's all I knew," Pete continues to fume, fumingly. Down to 40k.

Then a few minutes later I see Pete betting out small on a Ks Kd 7c 7s board, and Andrew Woods raising HUGE - Pete is insta-all-in, although he then points out that possibly Woods' raise actually covered him. Anyway, Pete is all in. Says Woods, possibly unnecessarily, "I have to call." Says Pete, "You don't, I have quads." Anyway, Pete is still all in, and now Woods has decided that he definitely in some wise matching that bet.

Pete Linton - another classic Linton hand - Kc 6c for the full house

The turn is dealt and is the meaningless 8c at which point Pete pipes up, "Hey, doesn't he have to show his hand?" "No, noooo I don't," says Woods, or something to that effect, and he quickly puts his cards in the muck and messes all the cards around so no-one can recover them. Pete demands a warning for Woods, which I think he gets, although I am taking photos at this point so I'm not massively paying attention to what is going on. I believe Woods had Aces. That's what he's saying as I leave.

Some minutes later Pete bounds over, suddenly full of youthful joie de vivre. "Look, I just knew that K-6 was ahead there. Please don't report it so I look like a donkey." Back up to a probably-chip-leader 80k.

The young gentleman to Matt Tyler's right (anyone know who he is??) makes it 3k, and Matt makes it all his green and red chips, or Mostly All In. Our young Matey sighs and folds A-Q offsuit - at least he is rewarded with knowing he did the right thing when Matt shows Ad Kd.

Whether Young Matey's expression is due to having to fold his A-Q or whether someone farted is unclear.

Sad news for all evilpie fans, our plucky hero is now no more after running Queens into Aces. Maz Charalambous was the man firing the bullets, all the chips flying in on a 3-4-9 Flop.

---------

Mazhar Latif has now joined the cash game. He was out-flipped by Robert Woodcock whose A-Q Flopped not just an Ace, but also a Queen to see off Latif's Jacks.

---------

Ouday Hikar is chip leader with 125k.

According to the powers that be, this is going to be the final level of the day.

Yay updaters!  Still watching... how many do you reckon will return tomorrow?  Last time 3 or 4 tables.  I like Snoopy with a food head - suits him.

I like him that way too, I am looking into the possibility of arranging his ample locks to look like a roast chicken. Mmm.

I reckon it'll be 4 tables tomorrow - the atmosphere has turned a little sleepy in the cardroom, but people are nevertheless sleepily shoving their chips in all over the place and in that sense it's not slowing down any. 47 left currently, which may or may not include the couple of exits I just saw (one of them comprising Mateyboy A taking out Mateyboy B with the nut straight against something that was mucked - I do not feel obliged to report on that one any further).

Even more chips for Pete Linton.

He bets 6.5k on a Jc Js 7d flop, and Simon Lawler moves in 16.6k total. Pete thinks about it for a bit, wondering out loud whether he is committed. He eventully calls. "i'm working on the proviso that I've got ten outs," says he. But barring interesting runner-runner possibilities, he has just six (I think; too late in the evening for brain to be working at full capacity).

Simon Lawler - 8d 8s
Pete Linton - 9d Td

Turn - Aspades ("an Ace!" says Pete, totally unnecessarily and inexplicably)
River - 9c

"Nice one, Pete," sighs Simon, and heads for the door.

having been crippled with the QQ vs KK i'm down to 15k and looking to double up - we are only playing one more level and with no hotel booked and the weather conditions outside i decide to find a hand to gamble with.

Lucy Rokash has lost a couple of big pots and has started getting aggresive to recoup her losses. Two flat caller so I limp with also with 9s Ts blinds 1200/600. lucy makes it 8k to go - i reraise all in to just over 15k and am glad when she says call and turns over  7s 5s

As the dealer deals the flop the first card out is  Td - great, with over 34k in pot this hand puts me back to an average stack, next card  2c but then  5d

Turn  7c

River  Aspades

:'(

good luck to all blondeites left

I was just about to report this sad demise and post the picture of the initial assassin, Garinder Purewall. 5th last month I believe, and looking good again this time around with 85k.

Chris Bruce was awarded grinder of the day not too long ago, but I feel my colleague may have jumped the gun there, as Tasos Grigoriou is clearly the king of that throne. After struggling for most of the day, Tasos pushed all-in for just one big blind (worth 1,200) with Q-J and survived an obligatory encounter with Pete Linton's J-6 on a 9-7-K-K-9 board.

----------

Boktastic. Tasos is now out.

Last minute craziness for Tony Nicholls - he somehow finds himself up against the young all-in Mateyboy below, Tony holding Ahrt 3h and Matey holding 8h 8c.

Board - 6s 5c 4d Kd 7s and Tony's down to the felt.

So last hand of the night he shoves with J-Q and is called by Richard Hawes holding the massively-dominatey A-J, but Tony rivers the straight, obviously. He's still short, but he'll be back with us tomorrow.

Perhaps it was the promise of a Sunday lunch at 1pm, but few people seemed to be searching for that last minute "I wanna come back with something decent" all or nothing push, most people seemingly content to return tomorrow. During the last several hands, I spotted Lam Trinh surviving a shortstack all-in push from the small blind after Nigel Turver had limped on the button. I also overheard a slight mumble over on the near table, a hand being replayed after the dealer accidentally swiped up some cards. Initial raiser Ramazanali Abbassi didn't seem to chuffed as he revealed Queens, but it may have been a blessing in disguise.

On the very last hand of the night, there was three way action on one of the far tables with a Ts Qd Jh 2d 9c board provoking a 4.5k bet from Chin Koh, a smooth call from Kevin Lund and a re-raise to 10k from Mateyboy. Koh stepped out of the way, but after squirming in his seat momentarily, Kevin announced that he was giving his opponent chips for nothing before calling with 8h 5h. Mateyboy showed Kh 4d. "I should have just folded," Kevin later confessed.
