Welcome to the Monthly "3" part of the DTD 3-2-1 weekend, with it being bank holiday weekend, we start on a Sunday and return tomorrow for the business end.

Join Myself & Ginger as we try and hack our way through a huge field and do our best to keep you all informed on the progress of the comp.

As you would probably have guessed, thewy didnt last too long with his 50 chips ... he is OUT.

On my second walkabout I don't get far again before falling upon yet another all in on the turn... (note to self: must catch these hands earlier)

This time we have Skandie v Skandie

There was already quite a few chips in the middle at this point and as I have arrived (looked to be around 4000 - with blinds still on 25/50...)

Skandie A has checked on the turn,

Skandie B thinks for a small while, picks up his 3 stacks and places them over the line... gets up and walks off!

Back to Skandie A and he looks like he doesn't know what to make of this, and ponders, and waits for player B to return...

Finally, after a a couple of minutes player B returns and words are said between the two (wrong side of the table to catch what was said but I assume I wouldn't of understood it anyway)

On finding Mark he is involved in a 3 way pot with Torgeir Ravlo and Pål Knudsen, 750 already in the middle on a  3d  7h  2h flop

Doing the rounds I find this situation....

There is about 10k in the middle with the board reading  Aspades  5c  5s  6c

One of the players has pushed about 25k over the line and is waiting, cap down, hands completely covering his face.

The other player (that I believe to be Cato Vonheim) is dwelling, for what seems to be an eternity...

Eventually the clock is called and Cato instantly folds.

From underneath the cap and hands appears Pete Linton, who is now on 55,000 "it was a good move" he says, with a smile.

I have just seen a guy call a pre flop raise and then push all in when re raised with  2d 3d ...  flop

After watching the Norwegians the last few days what lessons have we learned about them?   Will Poker at DTD ever be the same again? 

Pete Singleton is a late casualty, he had been nursing a bowl of rice for a while, but he has joined the ranks of the departed now.

The boys can drink ... but what a well behaved bunch, not a single sign of any disorder ... they are a proper friendly group.

They keep telling me to write how fabulous this place is ... they love the fact that they can drink and play poker without a roulette wheel/blackjack table/fruit machine in sight.

With only 5 minutes of play left for the evening, the players are teasing us with false promises of big hands.

All over it's raise and re-raise preflop, called bets on flop & turns, only to then fold on the river.

Don't they know we expect carnage from Scandies? 

Still, we are down to 42 (with now 2 mins left) and that isn't bad going for this size field.

No idea where those players went out, we are watching the 5 remaining tables like hawks but still the player count has gone down.

I re-raised a short stack with  Aspades Qd hoping to isolate him. Another short stack called with  Ac Ks. Original raiser had  Jc 3c.

Only problem was I had originally come to play the £100 freezeout on way back from Arsenal Game. I then won the entry fee after playing half hour with the mad Scandies just before the start of the comp on a short handed NL cash game and decided to buy in to the event.

Must thank reception staff for hastily organising a hotel room for me.
