Title: Favourite BB6 memories
Post by: Dingdell on May 12, 2008, 02:37:26 AM
For those of you who are already missing those friends old and new made and met at BB6 why not post your favourite moments here for posterity.

Some of my favourite bits were;

I have never laughed so much in one evening or met up with so many blondes before.

Jens acceptance speech on winning the BB6 tourney was heartwarming - her mother will be so touched that Jen has dedicated her trophy to her - if she ever remembers that she said she would....

Everyone was so friendly, and the dealers were really up for a bit of fun too. The blind cash game late in the day was a scream.

Laxie for inventing the first responders team dance which we did everytime we won a match.

Flushy for offering to buy part of me and making me feel special, and then admitting he had bought half the field already...

Simon Trumper and his team worked so hard to make it a great weekend and succeded - thank you to them for all their hard work.

Trig for wearing those shorts.

And last but not least all the blonde peeps who organised and ran the event. Really sorry that Tighty couldn't make the whole thing but delighted he got there for the Sunday evening to see the sucess of his labours. Ginger and RobertHM worked so hard with the heads up. Thanks to you all - I had a really great time despite not one drop of alcohol passing my lips.

So many good things this weekend........
Finally meeting TheNun
Beating Laxie heads up
Never getting over 11000 chips in the bash and still grinding out to 16th (Tighty I made you look LAG)
Beating Laxie heads up
A heads up match against a fellow Blonde bash winner even though I tried massively to avoid it (I know when I am the dog) Oh by the way 4,9 is a legitimate calling hand.
Beating Laxie heads up.
Having time to sit and chat in the bar area and meet lots of Blondes I had not spoken to before.
A special thank you to Spurs for finishing below West Ham
Beating Laxie Heads up
But the stand out moment was in the Omaha when Bainn shows his hand thinking Compo is all in with one card to come.....Compo is drawing dead so keeps his remaining 75 chips.........

Favorite memories?

Thats easy :

1) Winning the Omaha comp
2) Having a "menage au trois" with Charmaine and her sister Joy - TWICE
3) Winning the Omaha comp
4) Seeing LeKnave refused at the bar for being too drunk
5) Winning the Omaha comp
6) Getting a free bottle of wine at Pizza Hut - obviously too dificult to add up 3 pizza's, one starter and one bottle of wine :)
7) ALMOST getting a Taxi from Park Plaza to Chambers (it was accross the street!)
8) Winning the Omaha comp
9) Seeing the delight on Kev's face when I let him win the heads up ;)
10) Winning the Omaha comp
11) Having Georgetoloose shouting "give me an ace" when all in against 2 others - they both had AAxx lol
12) Winning the Omaha comp

Probably forgotten so much, due to lack of sleep!

Oh, did I mention I won the Omaha comp? :)

Got to agree the friendliness of all the blondes and DTD staff I met really made the weekend for me.

That saturday evening (or technically sunday morning) on the cash table was ace fun and I do regret leaving early before the blind betting and other sillyness.  In hindsight saving winnings for the Sunday comps wasn't such a wise move.

The thoughts running through my head when asked "Are you in a hand?, just go in to the toilets and listen"

The quiz on Sunday was excellent, special thanks to Ironside for hosting and for inadvertently causing most the laughs.

Dealing a few of the earlier heads up games, sorry for any suckouts dealt.

The Sunday evening "winddown" which I think I may have technically gatecrashed but thanks for the excellent company and the laughs.

LOL

- Coming 4th in the Friday night main tournament.
- The Duke wearing ladies unerwear for the football comp. (I have a photo on my phone, will have to get it off)
- Felt bad for Rosie and Jim (not the kids prog) for the HUGE suck-outs by Jen.
- 350z playing cash tables very drunk..!!! (lots of happy customers)
- The Duke not being able to walk properly after the football.
- Some DTD regular guy called Richard who could / would not shut up.!!  Nor would he stay sat down in his seat instead kept walking around to chat to anyone important at DTD...!!
- coming 2nd in a STT 7 min blinds, LOL, level 2 not played a hand, but less than 10x BB remaining after not playing a hand..
- Jooles coming over to the final table to distract the rest of the table with her breasts...  Dealer shit himself LOL...  "Move back away from the table please.!!!"... The table was pissin themselves...

What a weekend..  Had a fair few quality moments to look back on, here are my top ones...

1. Meeting so many blondes!  Was a pleasure to put names to faces.  There were so many didnt get a chance to talk to though...
<TAKING HOME THE BLONDE BASH FOOTY TROPHY>
2. Playing cash with Kinboshi on Friday night after he had been clubbing.  He was nearly asleep on the table but still said he "owned me" lol
3. Trigg & M3boy playing bingo on the cash table..
4. 350Z giving me so much entertainment donating on the 5/5 dealers choice.  its only money..... ;whistle;
5. The Duke in his dress and managing to pull his calf muscle playing in GOAL!!! ;tk;
6. The mountain of bad beat stories from every tourney.  A4 calling will be in my mind for a while lol...  ;reallyamsorry;
7.  Owning the stt.  Never realised they ran turbo tourneys at DTD.... Quad 3's to win it lovely.... ;fishing;
8.  Did i mention <TAKING HOME THE BLONDE BASH FOOTY TROPHY> ;yippee;
9.  Jizzemm outlasting me in the Omaha comp!  Went all in with AA for a 40k pot....  We were on our way home about 30 secs later.   ;tightend;
10. Taking out Simon Trumper to land the bounty in Omaha comp.  I asked him to raise my BB when he was short stacked and he obliged.  Made me smile all the way home...  :)up
11. The vales at DTD.  My god the bank is full for the next month.  ;kev;
12. The ladies making a display on the footy pitch. :)up
13. Compo and Tikay's Omaha lessons.

An excellent weekend, so many more I could post, oh did I mention the footy tourney.......    ;cupcake;

A big well done to all at Blonde and DTD for organising a fantastic weekend.  Looking forward to the norkage shots...

Memories..

Pain (the Vet has sorted me out. Although the request to keep my leg elevated over the level of my heart has given me another torn muscle)
Tantrums master pole dancing class
Ironsides "Buy One Get Three Free" in Flirts
Taxi rides "once more around the block please"
Only time in a gentleman's club where the women outnumbered the men buying dances
Seeing defeat in Laxies eyes in the Roshambo final (it's all in the eyes  rotflmfao )
Getting a bounty on my head in the main event
Best HU fun with the best of opponents
Great venue for this sort of thing, all in the right spirit

Most of all putting more faces to names, great company, great weekend - priceless

Having been ordered by certain members to write in my blog again, I'll put a full report up there in a couple of days.

Highlights though

 • Arriving at the hotel on Friday to find the world's smallest bar full of drunk blondes
 • Surviving Big Barry Neville on my right in the £75 without my iPod :)
 • The pseudo-Blonde SnG after the £75 had finished, with RichEO managing to be the first person I've seen to spill a pint on a DTD table...
 • Joobie's attempts to put the Friday final table off by flashing her cleavage.
 • The ladies deciding to play topless against the Northern Monkeys at the football - and somehow still managing to lose 4-0!
 • The actual tournament.
 • The camera - and Claw/Poppet/Joobie having a "who's tits look biggest if I push them up and out of my clothes competition". Pics will be around shortly, I definitely had fun taking those!
 • The quiz...how the hell Kev's team won is a mystery I'm still stumped by ;)
 • Heads-up, or most importantly fishing my way to victory against Compo then watching Claw decimate Kinboshi.
 • THE WHOLE WEEKEND

Ok heres mine

~ Seeing everyone again cos I missed you all!
~ I managed to be a little bit more daring and bluffed...was so happy when it worked!
~ Sitting outside with Laxie, RobertHM, Suzanne, Ironside, Claw, Gatso and Bongo etc with most of them singing... Claw and Ironside should duet on the X Factor!
~ Playing the 0.50/1 cash game with my Dad and Delboy on the table and constantly getting into pots with the guy at the other end of the table... we did have a good laugh. Then Del very kindly embarrassing me!
~ Standing by the sinks in the Ladies loo whilst the quiz answers were being announced and hearing Claire shout "YES!!" from one of the cubicles...I take it she got that question right.
~ Last hand of my heads up game. Gatso was dealing for us and had accidently dealt the cards the wrong way so swapped them before we had a chance to look, I get pocket aces, the other guy (whose name I fail to remember) gets pocket kings and we both slow play them - obv I win :D and I'm so glad Gatso realised his dealing error before it was too late!
~ Playing a small game with Gatso and Laxies Husband (gosh I'm bad with names!) we had such a giggle, Gatso learnt that trying to beat me when I'm holding 35 SUITED (twice!) is just asking for trouble, and also trying to play a J-8-x flop without looking at your cards, then to realise you're actually holding J8 still isn't going to win when the turn is a K and the river is a 9... and I'm holding K9 :D Sorry gatso but you shouldn't be such a fish! :)

Had a really good time, thanks to everyone that organised it, was very impressed by how organised the heads up was! Was good to see you all again! See you in September xxx

The thoughts running through my head when asked "Are you in a hand?, just go in to the toilets and listen"

ooer - that sounds a bit 'dodgy' ;)

 • Heads-up, or most importantly fishing my way to victory against Compo then watching Claw decimate Kinboshi.

I was so owned.

you're my biatch.

Jeez what a weekend.  Firstly, i'm not sure I've ever been that drunk in my entire life, so my apologies to anyone I may owe one to for whatever I said/did ;D In hindsight, starting on the pints of cider pre-footy probably wasn't the best idea......

I had a great time from start to finish - too many memories to list here, and many already mentioned.  Highlights though (apologies in advance for the paraphrased misquotes):

- the journey to the footy - I had a stitch from laughing so hard in the car before I'd even set foot on the pitch. We knew the boyband were following us on the magical mystery tour, but had no idea how long the convoy actually was until that poor guy we stopped to ask for directions was greeted with a chorus of blaring car horns.

- 'f**k your wheels son, I'm a magician'

- 'Philip McCan't'   ;ashamed;

- scrounging 20p of someone so Junglecat and I could share a pack of 'quality smokes' in the new beer garden

- Bongo's text and picture messages

- Getting perved on by Ironside before he'd even arrived courtesy of Laxie's phone

- Brokeback Mountain

- top ten with Suzanne

- Dawn and Timothy's jokes :D

- 'I think I'm the only one here who is fully entitled to say "fuck my life"'

- Kinboshi's backing vocals and moves to 'the gambler' (only noticed on video this morning - get it on YouTube doublequick Gatso!)

- Finally Matt's impromtu answer to one of the quiz questions :D  Looking at the top of the page now I think he was probably right ;D  :hello:

As usual, big thanks to everyone involved for making it another fantastic weekend and, IMHO, the best blonde bash yet!

Edited for spelling - maybe I'm not as sober now as I thought!

It was against Eck.   I think I overbet it slightly.  He had AA, but got lucky that there was a king on the board so we chopped it with the straight, otherwise I'd have taken the lot.

See you in September xxx

i see that meeting husband to be isnt in this list....holiday romance not cracked up to all it could be???

Having been ordered by certain members to write in my blog again, I'll put a full report up there in a couple of days.

Highlights though

 • Arriving at the hotel on Friday to find the world's smallest bar full of drunk blondes
 • Surviving Big Barry Neville on my right in the £75 without my iPod :)
 • The pseudo-Blonde SnG after the £75 had finished, with RichEO managing to be the first person I've seen to spill a pint on a DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) table...

You missed something out I gather?

Yes. I could write an essay on the weekend. Unlike most of the degens who were there, I stayed sober and remembered EVERYTHING. Be scared ;)
so u can confirm it wasnt me who knocked that pint over i just was on the recieving end of it. dealer yesterdaqy swore it was me.

You split my pint  ;grr;

- The Duke wearing ladies unerwear for the football comp. (I have a photo on my phone, will have to get it off)
- Felt bad for Rosie and Jim (not the kids prog) for the HUGE suck-outs by Jen.

- The Duke not being able to walk properly after the football.
- Some DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) regular guy called Richard who could / would not shut up.!!  Nor would he stay sat down in his seat instead kept walking around to chat to anyone important at DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)...!!
The table was pissin themselves...

my favourite moments were having a moment with maureen, the banning incident, seeing people wasted and yesterday flushy getting sunday8pm to do horrible stuff for a tenna, pure comedy

we went to dtd after that italian and flushy kept chucking ben £50's to play the £2/2 omaha, on flushys last £50 (£450 in) he span it up to £2k was a quality day.

 • The camera - and Claw/Poppet/Joobie having a "who's tits look biggest if I push them up and out of my clothes competition". Pics will be around shortly, I definitely had fun taking those!
Who won??????

Junglecat told me at one point in the evening that I was in the top 3.  Having seen the length of the list of entrants I'm quite pleased with that ;D

I hope the judges will take into account the fact that I am way older than Joobie and Poppet and have breastfed a child and adjust the scoring appropriately  :)up

Unofficially on the night I couldn't choose...so I took the easy way out and you all won.

I propose that when Jen puts up the pics...we have an official poll ;)

What a weekend!!

Blonde Bashes just get better and better.

Had a great laugh with the girls on the trip up to Notts and I was first to be dropped off. Shame I didnt check which hotel I was in as I got dropped off at the wrong one LOL.

First visit to DTD..I followed the thread from day 1 and it is just as fantastic as I thought it would be. Staff are lovely (specially dik9  ) and the hamburgers are to die for. I blame the air conditioning for having to drink copious amounts of alcohol LOL

Highlights of the weekend..

Beating The Duke heads up.

Meeting Blondes I hadnt met before... my hero  ;tightend; Trigg, amcgarth or Asa..my longtime poker pal across the virtual felt and what a lovely lad he is  , CIA, Taximan, Joobie, the Chezgar gang and many more...

Beating The Duke heads up.

The banter on the tables was brilliant ...shame I got knocked out early but the karaoke in the beer garden more than made up for it.

Beating The Duke heads up.

Claire and Ironside had me in fits of laughter. Bongo..one of the funniest guys Ive ever met.

Laxie..a very scary Robamsho (whatever its called) player...kin ell shes preforms a haka before play.

Top 10 with Claire..we were so pissed I think even boshi got a mention LOL

Did I mention I beat Duke heads up?

Maureen announcing she was a pro....err noooo not at poker rotflmfao

Booder being the BIGGEST fish EVER!!  ;)

A fantastic weekend and im sure I will add more when my memory comes back LOL

- Some DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) regular guy called Richard who could / would not shut up.!!  Nor would he stay sat down in his seat instead kept walking around to chat to anyone important at DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)...!!
The table was pissin themselves...
you seem to forget that he put in a huge amount of money to charity that night, more than most people did...and the "important" people who you speak about are his friends too..and why should he shut up for you,lol..(you can have your opinion obv but he is my best mate so had to get this in)

my favourite moments were having a moment with maureen, the banning incident, seeing people wasted and yesterday flushy getting sunday8pm to do horrible stuff for a tenna, pure comedy

we went to DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) after that italian and flushy kept chucking ben £50's to play the £2/2 omaha, on flushys last £50 (£450 in) he span it up to £2k was a quality day.
lol shib it

Was quality, random staking FTW

Blame the alcohol. The scary thing is was that she was stone cold sober.

And it wasn't a case of looky likey, Trace actully asked me about a guy who had just joined our table "is that Gazza" only to say an hour later "I made a mistake, I meant to say Steve Davis"

whilst on the subject of lookalikes, I need to point out that I KNOW the guy in the hotel bar wasn't Hughie Green (being fully aware that he is brown bread). I said he 'had a look of Hughie Green about him' which was perhaps why Nakor was convinced he was famous.  Did anyone actually find out if he was famous and, if so, who he was?

This post troubled me greatly.....firstly if Hughie Green is dead and this guy had the look about him was he dead too
Secondly why did Nakor think he was famous.....we all know Nakor uis a legend

Thank you for the most entertaining couple of hours I've ever had at the poker table. It was funny when the dealer had to call over the card room manager and ask him what he should do as Gatso, Nakor and I were crying with laughing so much and unable to play at all.

where to begin where to begin...

meeting people I've chatted to for ages... Suzanne being the main one :) Kev, Flea to to name but a few

The whole Heads Up tourny which is obviously a biatch to organise, horrible to run ( could see the frustration rising in Ginger and Robert), but absolutely awesome to play against

... the 1st game of HU vs Joobie... i think we could have played all day and not care about the result, was just having too much fun chatting and the rest ;)

...the 2nd game of HU vs a bloke who's name has passed me by with alcohol unfortunately, but we also had an absolute blast, pinnacled by him nominating me for an Oscar when I flipped quad As holding A2os...

... the 3rd game of HU vs seemingly the entire boyband...which was great fun.. and watching good old George2Loose hitting runner runner 6s to get us to the final

..the final game of HU vs DUNK... right from the start we both said it'd be our game that decided things.. luckily it did.. tho it took a lot of "creative" play to get me anywhere near winning ( calling his 1k pf raise with 10 8 os and raising all in on a 9 hi flop)...then seeing that the instant push by myself with Q9, called by his Q5.. hitting an unbeatable straight by the turn, and with a lovely low river card... taking Team Cybermen into a 3-1 win :)

...the beer garden singing with Ironside, Claw, Suz, Laxie etc

..the 2 oh so classic lines both chastising ironside already mentioned in this thread... was crying with laughter

..sitting on the next table watching Flushy flip his life away

..I think the top one for me was seeing the look of relief on his face when he realised I was there and he had somewhere to sleep for the night.. ended up being the floor for the night... and the texts he received in the morning from ***** saying she was so hot she was sleeping naked and you should have come here...

...4 girls who got into the lift going to the 4th floor... one sticking her fingers in Bongo's mouth and asking him what some stupid word meant ( I have NO idea what as I was falling asleep in the corner of the lift whilst standing up)... and he nearly followed them... but was slaughtered enough to be slightly sensible and not go as he WOULD have regretted it!

I think Carl and I may have squeezed into a lift with those girls earlier in the day (despite his best efforts he couldn't get the lift to break down!).  I think he mentioned seeing them coming out of a room in the 1st floor in the morning, which was odd as they had clearly been on a higher floor earlier.  So if it wasn't Bongo's room, who's was it?

Yeha, them scantily clad chicks...  4:30am...  3 of them coming out of the room next to mine..!!!  All giggly and falling about...!!  3 lads in same room all looking happy...

Unofficially on the night I couldn't choose...so I took the easy way out and you all won.

I propose that when Jen puts up the pics...we have an official poll ;)

I think I should win, considering...!

That's why I thought we drew the short straw in the lift...

You were slightly on the ball in the lift anyway, as soon as they left the lift you read my mind and said "I think you're better off on the floor".

another one that's just come back to me.  Late Sunday sitting drinking in the hotel lobby.  There aren't many seats, and somehow the blokes end up with them all while the girls are sitting on the floor.  I decide enough is enough and I'm going to make Kin give me his seat by sitting on his lap and squashing him until he gives in.

me: am i squashing you?
kin: no
me: (putting as much weight on to one of his thighs as possible) are you not getting a dead leg?
kin: no
At this point Rod Paradise comes and sits onmy lap
Rod: am i squashing you?
Me and Kin in unision: yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss!!!!!!!

And I didn't even lean back ;)

Too many memories to write down, but I'll put down a few:
Tim (Laxie's hubby) midway through a Laxie rant "You say 'Fk your life'? FK MY LIFE". rotflmfao
The Ironside rubdowns.
Laxie getting a call from the kids "Mum, what's it mean when the computer screen goes blue & it starts up in safe mode?" (possibly connected to rant above)  rotflmfao
Getting Chilli to autograph her pic on the front page of a poker mag, carrying it with me for the rest of the day, then some toerag nicking it in the Holday Inn. (This may have been me leaving it when drunk though).
Bongo & Gatso deciding the standard raise for every level - then booing anyone who didn't use it.
Jen standing on a £50 note she'd dropped and finally having to lift her off it to give it back to her - she was that wasted ;D.
Meeting some new faces off the board, Taximan, Solver (who I KNOW I've met before), and a special mention for Tonji, a real gent.
The "You'll never Wonk Alone" when giving Wonky Donk some support in the final - not sure it helped him any though  ;hide;
Silo's expression when he was told the Roshambo Trophy is the best one of them all.
RED & Mrs RED turning up straight from assisting the Mayor to open an Allotment Shed :)

Every bB you worry it won't be as good as the next, every one is & generates another batch of memories to make you laugh weeks later.

We've landed in Cork safe and sound...well, safe anyway.  There's a wee debate regarding my sanity, but alas...she takes no notice.

Computer just returned from the repair shop.  Thanks kids.

Timothy - Red Rebel, Mr. Laxie, the Irish bloke...seems there was some confusion over what to call him, but everyone agrees on one thing - he deserves a medal.  Sigh.  He had a brilliant time and says thanks to everyone for making him feel so welcome at his second bash.

As expected, we both had a brilliant time and will need a week to recover!  Woke Friday morning at 6am, drove the hour and a bit to the airport and were on our way.  By the time we arrived at the Holiday Inn, it was time to drop the bags and head to the bar...obv.  At the hotel, everyone seemed to gel straight away.  There never seemed to be any moment of awkward 'get to know you' like some might expect.  Number of times I was told I look nothing like avatar pic?  Lost count.  lol  What a night we had!!!  Friday night will be talked about for a long time.  Karaoke at Chambers.  Priceless!!!  Kinboshi - ooooops!   ;hide;

The 'follow up' entertainment?  Well, you can imagine the looks we've been getting when we mention Ironside's kind 'gift' that night.  Said to one of the 'entertainers', 'Hey, where do you think yer going now?  Oi!!!  What the heck are ya doing down there?!'  lmao  Speaking of, there was a photo taken out the back smoking area with a bunch of us.  Mind is a bit blurry, so don't remember who has it, but send me a pm with it PLEASE!!!  (Not sure it's safe for posting.)  Tantrum...yer a nutter!!!

McDonald's drive through will never be looked at the same again.  Next time, we need to plan our 7 seater a bit better.   rotflmfao

Saturday - The drive to the venue was hysterical!  Had no idea so many cars were following the Monkey.  lolololol  The football.  What a fix.  We can't even cheat properly.  Thank you Bongo...you tried.  Thanks to Duke for being in goals...for as long as ya were able.  Hope you're feeling better.  And thanks to the other ladies who jumped in when it was obvious the Duchess had had enough.  Poor Sunday.  Didn't mean to get yer unders as well as yer shorts...lol.  Just glad they served cider at the place or it would have been a long morning of getting our backsides kicked.  GG, WP, FML...obv.

The comp.  I was at starting stack for most of the day.  Suddenly I found some chips and managed to build up to 13k.  Then some bright spark (me) decided to try a wee move when blinds were at 600/1,200 and average stack was 12k.  Was hoping to steal the blinds/antes, but walked smack into a brick wall of AA...as ya would do.  Ah well.  Was fun while it lasted and meant I could join the madness out on deck with Philip (Ironside, Einstein, call him what you will) and Co.  Walked in later to fin Jen pished at the final table, showing me how to play real poker...with 10 4 os.  lololololololol  Well done Chicka!  Great play, great speech and WAKE UP!!!  lol  Nothing like 'making due' with shots at 4am.  'Did I win?'   rotflmfao

Sunday - Tried to sleep in a bit, but couldn't manage to settle until around 10:30am...missing the start of the quiz.  No worries, off to the bar.  Order first cider of the day.  Walk around saying hi to various people while they try to answer quiz questions.  Everyone's busy trying to be smart.  Leave em at it and head to the bar.  Order second cider of the day.  'Sorry, we've run out.'  'You've WHAT?!'   ;gobsmacked;  Ah well, we're flexible.  Saturday night 'shots' proved that.  lol

Heads up comp was great...until I was faced with Snat.  Sigh.  But never mind.  Had such a laugh with Dingdell, Dunk, and the lads.  Reckon we should keep that team together for the next bash.  We nearly had em.  Highlights?  Victory dances with Dingdell and her quick coaching session re Claw which helped me to relax before I faced her.  Sit down with Claw.  First hand, she raises pre.  I call.  Had to.  Had 56.  Premium, ya know.  Flop...7 8 ? (dunno, but it was small).  I check, she bets 500, I call.  Turn...the magic 4.  SHIIIIIP!!!  Bring on the victory dance!  First time all week-end I tried to keep a straight face, but still failed.  I check.  She bets, I re-raise all in and she calls with A7.  I know I got dog lucky, just happy it happened in the first hand as I was trying to play the Omaha comp too.

ROSHAMBO - Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.  Where you sleeping in 2 weeks time Duke?  That trophy WILL be MINE, but not this time.   ;nemesis;  Beating LeKnave while some of the boy band watched on in horror was deffo one of the highlights of the Roshambo.

Omaha - I reckon I'll be pretty good at that game... some day.  Just wasn't going to happen this Sunday.  Apologies to all at my table for  being 'wired fer sound'.  I entertain me, if nobody else.   rotflmfao

Sunday Night at the pub - Himself has been on best behaviour since...the fecker!  Seriously though, we had such a laugh talking pure rubbish and exchanging jokes.  Was delighted to see Tighty finally land too.  Fair play.  After running around all day with the kids, you must have been wrecked.

Monday - We were up at 6am and managed to get the correct bus to the airport.  Even managed to get on the correct flight.  I run sooooooo much better when Himself travels with me.  Home for noon, coffee at the neighbour's, inspected the house for signs of any teen parties.  Results of inspection - Computer flat lined, house dirty but not trashed, and over powering smell of Mr. Sheen furniture polish, despite every flat surface being dusty.  Interrogation followed, got the truth out of the lil darling and he spent the rest of the evening as my 'house work slave'.

Ending - Kids are alive, house is clean...ish,  computer working again and we're already looking forward to the next Bash!!!

Was great to meet so many of you for the first time and delighted to reunite with the rest.  Thanks to all the staff on Blonde and at DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) for organising a great week-end.  Thanks to everyone for the laughs and hugs to the lot of ye!!!

xx

That was me- live heads up poker is so rigged!

my best experience at BB6 (they were all good) was coming back from a very low chip deficit (400) when the blinds were 800/1600 with 200 antes with about 58 players left to grind back to finish in 13th place and in the money on the Saturday

boring!  Who wants their best memories of a blonde bash to be poker related!?!?!

ok...my best non-poker related memory of BB6 was in the hotel room, in the shower when someone obv turned on a tap somewhere and all that came out was scolding hot water directly onto my erm......big hunk of love making it a lot redder than normal and it was fkin painful
