Title: DTD Monthly £300 - Day 1
Post by: NoflopsHomer on November 01, 2008, 06:30:11 PM
Next month DTD will be holding it's £1,000 Anniversary Cup Event, meaning this weekend's £300 event will be the last 'official' one of the year. It'll be interesting to see how numbers will fair vs the Grosvenor Grand Prix which everyone will agree didn't do so well this year and also against the £500 event at Star City in Birmingham. Play starts at 8pm, though I'll be heading over to DTD in the next half hour or so.

Who is coming? Who do you want reports on? And most importantly of all, how many breakfasts will Red Dog manage during the tournament?

Interesting piece of news for anyone who knows him. Will Fry, online player from Nottingham, has won the EPT in Budapest. I admit I've never heard of him, but have any of you Notts locals?

Yes I know Will.  Sometimes seen playing cash at DTD and the odd comp.  He wears a black lip ring and talks quit slowly lol.  Definately not a prediction any of us in Nottingham wou
ld have made I reckon but well played Will, must have done something right.

I'm not playing tonight but gl those that are.

As the clock counts down (13:16 to go) the number of runners counts up (58 and counting).  So many different poker things are happening this weekend that this probably isn't going to be the busiest £300 freezeout of the year, but it's always a good comp and we're up for watching those we know and love to watch bust out one at a time (apart from the winner).

************************Shuffle Up and Deal!***************************

About 50 seconds ago, almost drowned out by the crowd gathered around the one-hand-turnover satellite occurring on a nearby table ("OOOH! He's got a FLUSH DRAW!") which I think may have been won by Richard Berridge, the tournament started.  Off go the usual mix of regulars and players drawn by the allure of Nottingham, pictures and stories on their way.

He's already lost a few chips in what seemed a reraised pot after Nicholas Marshall and Dave (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=115) Smith (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=115) both checked the Jc 7s 6h flop. Dave bet 1,100, Marshall raised to 3,100 and both Daves' passed quickly.

It could be that he knows that on his immediate left lurks Pete Linton, already pictured hoovering up some early chips with an expression of mild disdain for their lovely smooth round forms.  Don't be offended, chips.

Richard Rudling-Smith Knows Something You Don't Know:

Rudders, "I've had a deuce in every hand, but once...once it was suited..."

Meanwhile Pete Linton is already up to nearly 17k/18k, deuces don't seem to stop him, "I had Jd 2d suited and raised it up and the flop came with 2 diamonds, I bet, he raises me, I call. The turn is another diamond so I make a really big bet because I think he has a set or straight, he calls but the river is another diamond so I make a small bet but this time he folds."

Pete then promptly dashed off for a cig because he'd "stopped hitting cards."

I would presume so, but it hasn't been a happy return so far, he's dropped half his stack and has just 5k.

Wow, you can tell winter is upon us (and I haven't, despite a good amount of wandering, seen any hands which are interesting enough to commit to virtual paper) by the fact that this picture is pretty much monochrome - black sweaters, black T-shirts, white shirts.  Table 34 looks like it's in mourning for the entry fee:

34   1   Peter Singleton
34   2   Henry Griffiths
34   3   Paul Garnham
34   4   Habib Chatoo
34   5   David Statham
34   6   David Nisbet
34   7   Antonio Dicesare

But this might only be because all the colours within a five-mile radius have been hijacked by this highwayman (Tom Rutter):

And given as tribute to this man, NoflopsHomer:

Just in case you can't make it out, and you might want to adjust your sets, here's the detail in all is horrifying clashing made-by-a-five-year-old-out-of-felt, mortality themed glory:

Double upish for Ralph Shalson.

Multiway pot featuring several other players including Greg Hill.

8s Ad 6s

It's checked to Mark Roberts who bets 500 into a 600 or so pot. Passed back around to Karabiner who check/raises to 1,500. Call.

7c

Karabiner bets 2,500. Roberts thinks for a moment before moving all-in. Karabiner instantly calls and shows 8c 8h leaving his opponent drawing dead with Ahrt Js.

8d makes quaaaaaaaaaadss for Karabiner, he's close to 20k.

Thomson's Directory Tells Bebb-Jones Where to Get His Kings Cracked:

Well, I've sort of given it away, but this hand was already interesting by the flop, when a raise hand been re-raised, it looked like, by Marcus Bebb-Jones and called by Stephen Thomson.  The board stood 8d Ks 6c and I really started paying attention only when Marcus made a call here which elevated the pot to just over 3,000.
The turn: Aspades.  Both players check.
River: Ts  Marcus Bebb-Jones bets out 1,500 now, and Stephen Thomson raised a further 3,500.  Instantly Marcus announces all-in, and even though 5k has already gone in on the river alone from each player, Thomson now thinks long and hard about calling off the rest of his stack (he's covered).  Both hands do that simple chip-flip trick with an intense sort of speed; he stares, gets stared at, and eventually throws the rest of his stack in with a shrug.

Bebb-Jones: Kc Kd, yes, a flopped set of Kings
Thomson: 7s 9h, yes, a rivered straight.

Bebb-Jones almost felted, probably wishing he had actually had the flush/higher straight which presumably was causing his opponent the angst.

As predicted, another exit, bringing the total down to 99, which fit nicely on 11 tables.  Here are those unlucky few who've already busted and are probably in one of the cash games or the simultaneous £50 tournament running behind us:

100   Keith Jones
101   Marcus Bebb-jones
102   Edward Roger
103   John Deeley
104   Joe Whittaker
105   Habib Chatoo
106   Mark Roberts
107   Basharat Mahmood
108   John Perrin
109   Richard Kellett
110   James Mitchell

Rudders is on about 14k after getting into a favourable spot with A-K against a serial preflop overbettor's A-Q, flopping the nut flush.

It looks as though Thomas Middleton has lost a fair number of his early set over set chips to Nick Marshall and as I type that, their table is now breaking.

Marcus Bebb-Jones is out. He was all-in preflop with Neil Blatchly and Paul Rayner calling

Th 5s 2c

Blatchly bets a suspiciously small 1k into a pot approaching 6k. Rayner calls.

4d

Blatchly moves all-in, Rayner calls quickly flipping 5c 4c, Blatchly shows Ac Aspades. Bebb-Jones shows 9s 9d.

Blatchly asks for a ten....

Td

Ask and ye shall receive... Rayner is very short now, Blatchly has about 20k.

Sam Trickett Nearly Checks the Winning Hand

Out of position on the river.  Slowing to a check on the turn with the board 9s 6s 6c Ks 5s, he fires 1,300 on the river which gets a reluctant-looking call from Simon Lee who mutters something like, "Queen," before mucking to Sam's Aspades 4s.  "I nearly checked on the river," he gets told, as a bonus.  "You get checked to twice, do you bet?"  Maybe we'll never know.

Trick-outt

It did not go according to plan tonight for young Sam.  Just now a reasonably-sized pot went to Anthony Nicholls, who bet 1,500 on the turn with the board reading 2h Ks 9h Kd.  Sam called immediately, and then faced another bet on the bricky 5d river.  Trickett literally kissed his 2k goodbye, threw it in, and mucked when Nicholls showed Kh Jc.

It did not go according to plan tonight for young Sam.  Just now a reasonably-sized pot went to Anthony (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=36) Nicholls (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=36), who bet 1,500 on the turn with the board reading 2h Ks 9h Kd.  Sam called immediately, and then faced another bet on the bricky 5d river.  Trickett literally kissed his 2k goodbye, threw it in, and mucked when Nicholls showed Kh Jc.

Anthony (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=36) Nicholls (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=36) - 30k - Don't Mess with Him

Sam mentioned that Nicholls had managed to outdraw him in several big pots which had cost him. "When I saw my table draw I really thought I could get a big stack."

Thomas Middleton has also been busted, failing to capitalise on his earlier good fortune.

He Shal Not Be Moved

Ralph 'Karabiner' Shalson just got out of jail on the river, avoiding doubling through Kevin Pearce in the process.  Blind on blind, Karabiner raised with the Aspades Ks and got a reasonable looking flop: Qd Tc Ad.  Small blind Pearce bet out 1,200, Shalson made it 3,200, Pearce was all in for just under 12k, and called.  He'd only flopped the nuts with Kh Jh, but the Jc popped out on the river to chop the pot leaving him still on 12k, Ralph still on 28k.

Here are both of them, sorry only half of Kevin Pearce:

I was going to do a "Whose Manbag?" competition, but I've now used my photo of him and might as well post it, could possibly do a kind of Family Fortunes Quiz of what's in it...:

Thomas Middleton's exit was down to two hands really. A-A vs 5-4 on a 9-4-4-x-x board. Then K-K vs 8-7 on a 9-7-5-7-5 board. About the latter he said, "I should've folded on the river, he isn't bluffing."

Of course even though the 100/200 level is still in its infancy, those counts are no longer correct entirely.  Sam Savile-Barton now has just under 30,000 after I saw a large pot being shipped to him and someone's back as they headed for the exit.  SSB's hand was definitely the 9h 4h, of that I am certain, and I am also certain that the river brought him a heart flush.  I am about 50% that he'd hit a pair on the flop too - but either way, some gambling before the river was definitely involved, and it paid off handsomely.

Marshall Whips Linton in Line

A 10,000 chip pot just went from one comfortable yet active stack (Pete Linton's) to another (Nicholas Marshall's), after a very convincing dwell-laydown combo.

The board: Th 9c Kc...Ts
The dwell was already occurring when I noticed the size of the pot, as Marshall had either bet out, or, as I think is more likely, check-raised Pete 8,000.  The hood came down, the hood went up, head in hands, hands through hair - the whole dwell system before eventually Linton gave up the pot.  Immediately what can only be described as a chortle from an unrepentant Marshall.

"7-2 is goood!" he rubs it in.  They both grin (neither is on the felt).  "What could you call with on the flop that you can't call with there?..." he muses getting the expected eye-roll from his vanquished - but in-position - opponent.  "You didn't pass A-10 did you?" he concludes, before they continue giggling like schoolboys and I expect them to start passing notes any time soon.

Not going so good are GBT winner Rupinder Bedi and GUKPT finalist Paul McIntyre, both are out.

Geoffrey Hill and Nicholas Marshall see a Jh 7c 5c flop with about 3k in the pot. Hill bets just 600 and that's too tempting for Marshall who raises another 2,600. Hill instantly folds, and not has his bet proved to be enticing for Marshall, it's also too much for Pete Linton to resist...

"Why did you even bet 600?"

His elder replies curtly, "You play your game, and I'll play mine."

While the camera gets some recharging time, here are some hands:

(http://blondepoker.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=22614&g2_serialNumber=1)  Here's one I took earlier though of Rudling-Smith, which is appropriate because he just won a pot from Alan Stearn.  OK it wasn't huge and just involved a preflop Rudders raise and a Stearn call, a flop of Jc 8h Kd, a bet out of 2k and a fold from Stearn who showed 9c 9d.  But still.  There you go.

Elsewhere, Sam Savile-Barton is down to 3,600 after playing this hand with rhs neighbour Peter Conduit.  He'd re-raised preflop, only to check the Jc 9d Ad flop, which brought a free 8h turn.  Conduit then bet out 2,000, called immediately by Savile-Barton.  The river brought the 6s, and immediately Conduit plonked 7k in the middle, more than enough to cover his neighbour, who mucked his hand quickly.

Elsewhere, Robert Bostock, who doesn't sound like he's from Nottingham, just made a nice call on the river with A-Q high (the board disconnected but with a face card on it) when Matey bet 1,200, and then show/mucked a lower Ace.  No one likes to hear, "I just didn't believe you," do they?

Karabiner raises to 650 UTG. Wick Twigg wewaises two won thousand and nwine hundwed. Rick Trigg, UTG+3 reraises to 1,900. Tom Rutter gives him a hard stare before passing.

"No cold 4-bet Tom?" asks Rick with a smile.

It's back to Karabiner who has a 30 second dwell before reraising to 4,500. Trigg moves all-in for about 21,700 and it's back over to Karabiner, who, by the virtue that his chips aren't already in the middle, hasn't got aces. After a couple of minutes he says, "I'm probably going to regret this..." He calls, turning over Ac Kc. Trigg turns over Ks Kd.

Jd 4c 7h 7c 9d

Big double up, puts Rick Trigg on to over 42k and amongst the chip leaders. Ralph 'Karabiner' Shalson is down to just a few k left.

Pete Linton is OUT, having said, among other things.

"I don't think I folded Ace high once today."
"I'm a spewmonkey."
"The weather's just depressing."
"I just called off all my chips with AQ"

The last one spelled his exit, although we didn't realise that at first and mocked him for a bit before we realised he wasn't just taking a break to cool off.  His opponent had Jacks, apparently, "And I knew it, and called anyway."  That was that.

Mark Lewis is looking like the chip leader after getting two people to put their stacks in on a Tc Th 2h 4h board. He was holding 2d 2c against Ad Aspades and Ahrt 8h, dead in the water. A 2s sealed quads for Lewis and sent the others to the rail.

Tasos Grigoriou busts, Christopher Bushell down to 1/3 his stack, but Mazhar Latif doubles up!

Oh yeah this is a ;bp;

Bushell limped, Latif raised, short stack Grigoriou shoved in the blinds (1,525) called by Bushell.  That's when it got interesting - Latif now shoved his whole stack over the line. 8,975 represented comfortably over half Bushell's remaining chips, and he agonised for a while over whether or not to call the extra bet. "I don't want to be 50/50 at best!" he wisely commented, but as so often happens, still couldn't bring himself to let go of his hand.

Eventually he pulled out a coin:  "Heads I call, tails I pass," it fell heads, he called.
Bushell: 7d 7c
Grigoriou: 5c 5d
Latif: Qh Qd

A third Queen on the flop sealed the deal, as the board brought him a house and a healthy new stack while Bushell is down to 5,500.

David Nisbet just managed to get Billy Ngo to fold what he said was "A pair and a flush draw."  This was especially surprising considering Ngo is on a very healthy 30k+ stack and his neighbour, well, isn't.

The board was 5h Qd 9d 2h and there had already been fairly vigorous betting as the pot was 5,600.  Nisbet bet out 5,000 on the turn and had to wait while his neighbour ummed and ah'd before eventually announcing his hand (although not showing) saying, "I know I'm behind," and regretfully laying it down.  Nisbet rather unnecessarily kind showed him the 5s 5d for the flopped set which would indeed have been vulnerable to just such a draw, but was certainly ahead as Ngo suspected...

Dhiri Me

Raj Dhiri has been dicing with death and surviving recently.  Holding valiantly on to what by anyone's reckoning is a short stack, he just managed to avoid the felt against Dave Smith.  Seeing a heads up flop of 4c 9d 3h after calling a min raise preflop from Smith, he considered whether to get the rest of his 3,000 chips over the line or not.

"It's a good flop for me," he sighed, before passing 5d 5s.
"Just ask me and I'll show you," said Dave, who then did as he promised, flipping Kc Kd.
There then followed a little tongue-in-cheek argument as Neil Blatchly rolls his metaphorical eyes, saying, "What d'you think he's gayraising with?"
"Oh, it's only Kings, is it?" rejoinders Dhiri, "Not anything else?  I didn't know."
"Neither did I," adds Dave Smith, mysteriously.
"It's cause Dave's a good player," adds Blatchly, apparently not willing to let it go.
"Who told you that?" laughs Dhiri and the table can finally move on...

His shortstack laydown is paid off the very next hand, however, when he made it 1,100 to go and got raised all in by a gent with 9h 9s while it was Raj Dhiri who got the Kc Kd.

More trickery from Billy Ngo.

In a limped pot, he's in the big blind and after a Th 4h 2h flop is checked around, he fires 1,200 on the 2c turn. He gets one caller and on the Qc river, Billy fires again, this time a valuey 1,600 and his opponent folds Ahrt 4c face up for the missed draw. Ngo shows 9d 8d.

Ooh, he's a cheeky chappie.

Salmon Vies for Chip Lead...

57,000 is a pretty good stack for this stage, anyway.  Salmon just added a few more courtesy of Nicholas Marshall, whose stack has now dropped to just 8,000 (but it looks like more because it's mainly small denom).

I caught this only from the river raise - Salmon bets out 2,500 on a board of 4d Ts 5c 3d Aspades, and is raised to 7,000 by Marshall on the button.  He thinks for a little while, but makes the call, and gets that head drop, sotto voce, "One pair," while he says, "Straight," showing his 2s 2c and scooping in the pot.  Marshall mucks, takes a little walk of irritation, and play continues...

Interesting hand.

Alan Stearn raises preflop and Keith Littlejohn reraises from the button. Call. (About 8k in the pot).

6s 9d 4d

Stearn open-shoves for about 27k. Littlejohn calls.

"Oh shit," says Stearn showing Kd Td, Littlejohn flips Jh Js.

3s

Ad

"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!" yells Stearn, he begins to laugh, "I really thought the big bet would scare him off!"

Raj Dhiri says, "If you report this hand, people won't believe you..."

Like Horneris nick, "RHareisbusto". Rich Hare really is busto. He shoved for 9 big blinds with Q-T and ran into K-K.

Karabiner is OUT -

Having made a valiant bid for Climber of the Day, he abruptly fell off the rock face of Daniel Ward's Kings, with only Jacks to cling to for support.  There wasn't much getting away from it - he raised preflop, was re-raised to 5,500, pushed all in for just 1k more, got the autocall and a raggy unhelpful flop.  He'd built it back slowly, but this game can bust you in just one hand...

Apology

Editorial (I mean me) would like to issue an apology to Sam Savile-Barton.  You are not who I thought you were.  Please imagine, instead of him, a slightly older gent in a suit when you read stories which feature this name up to this point.  I was going to go back and change all instances of mentioning him to the correct name, but the guy I thought was Savile-Barton is now OUT and any further detective work is beyond me at this point.  I have not had much sleep.  Forgive me, SSB.

this also applies to Horneris

Curious hand between Harpit Gurnham and Paul Rayner.

Rayner raises preflop and Gurnham along with a couple of others, makes the call.

3s 7d 3h

Checked to Rayner who bets 2k. Gurnham is the only caller.

3c

Gurnham bets 3k, Rayner calls.

5s

Gurnham bets 3k again. Rayner raises 7k, Gurnham makes the call and I'm expecting Rayner to turn over Kings or Queens, but no, he shows Ahrt Qh, no good vs Gurnham's Th 7h.

Thomas Jones just got away lightly, as did Pete Singleton, in this potentially explosive but not quite hand... you'll see what I mean...

Pete limped in with AK, he tells me, only for a raise to come on his immediate left from Adrian Swingler, called by Thomas Jones.  Here are Pete and Adrian looking intense just like when this hand was playing out:

Anyway, they got to the turn cagily enough - the board read Qh 4s Kc Qc - and Adrian check-called a 2k bet.
The river: 3s  Now Adrian bet out 3k, raised quickly to 6k by Thomas...  back to Adrian who then pushed out a 20k stack of green chips - not quite enough to cover his opponent, but enough to make it very unlikely for Jones to make a comeback should he call and lose...
"Kings?" asked Thomas.  "How much more?"  "Fourteen."  "Kings?  Show me Kings," he said, as he folded Aspades Qs face-up.

Adrian Swingler flipped the Kd Ks for a raised eyebrow from happy-to-be-out-of-it Singleton and a bit of satisfaction for Thomas (pictured below):

Yes - because he's OUT

That's a bit harsh, actually, considering his exit hand (he wasn't short stacked by any means).  What happened was this: a little went in preflop against an out of position but very large stacked Keith Littlewood.  But the fireworks came on a flop of 6c 9c xsmallnotaclub.  Check to Savile-Barton, who bet 3,500.  Back to Littlewood who promptly check-raised a Stack of Reds (=20k)  Savile-Barton moved all-in and was called in the blink of an eye, and they were on their backs:

Savile-Barton: 6s 6h
Littlewood: 4c 5c

Turn: Qd
River: Ac bringing the flush and sending Sam Savile-Barton to the rail, and possibly on slight tilt judging from the insta-leave-the-premises.

Littlewood raking in even more chips:

4 or 5 players limp before big blind Mark Stafford shoves for what looks to be over 20k. Paul (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1393) Rayner (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1393) calls off his stack of 10k-12k. Everyone else passes.

Stafford: Kc 7c
Rayner: Qs Tc

6h 2h Qc Ahrt Ks...(On the river Stafford yells, "Get the fuck in there")

Greg Hill has just also busted from this table.

On the same table, Alan Wilson has been playing poker snakes'n'ladders without the ladders.  This is not the expression of a happy man:

To be fair, his Qs Qh had just been outdrawn by the aip 9c 9s of this guy, Jeff Sharpe:

"Every f**ing time!" he said as he handed over the 11k in chips, displaying what we've all felt at one point or another.  "Yeahyeahyeah take em."

"Nice hand," he said, lying.

Big double up for Rick Trigg. Raise to 1,600 playing a 55k and the small blind called, the only player who had him covered.

The flop was 9-6-2 and his opponent led out for 3k, Rick raised to 10k and his opponent shoved. Rick called with Aces, as you would, and his opponent showed A-9. No more nines on board and the Twiggster is on 110k and the chip leader.

Meanwhile Billy Ngo raises all-in on the turn of a Td 3h Kd Kh getting Mike Millar to fold, Ngo shows the big drawing Ad Jd.

And here's what the biggest stack around looks like (I think Trigg was on a cigarette calm-down break at the time), along with Paul Garnham who doesn't have quite so many despite an earlier double through off Billy Ngo...

And here are the only other two contenders I can really see for the final level leadership:

Dave Penly

As we head into the last level of play for the day, here's a requested player from earlier: Jason (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2729) Wong (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2729).  He's on thirtysomething in chips and just squeezed an utg limper (Billy (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=49) Ngo (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=49)) and and utg+1 limper (Thomas Gibson) with an utg+2 raise to 4,200.  Walking the wire, and doing well.  He seems to be well respected player - a couple of railers were liking his chances even with others with a lot more chips.

Rick Trigg raises to 2k from UTG. Paul Garnham calls in the big blind.

Th 9d 5d

Check check.

Ts

Check check.

3d

Check, 1,100 from Rick. Call.

Rick quickly mucks, Paul shows a very slowly played J-T.

Next table down and we've lost Neil Blatchly, Aspades 8s into Ibrahim Ullah's Ahrt Qc, the Qs on the flop sealing the deal.

Jason Wong's table move just paid off handsomely... shifted over, pretty much the first hand he plays sees him double to a cool 50k.

Ibrahim Ullah (who was originally reticent to come all the way up here from London having won a seat online but isn't so sad about it now he's heading deep) raised preflop early position to 2,400.  Over to Dave Penly, who repopped him, but it was Jason's 24,200 all in shove over them both which gave the other two something to think about.  After some unhappy dwelling, Ullah folded, but Penly really thought about it.  His raise had been to 8,200, and he spent the next few minutes doing a combination of mental arithmetic, counting his own stack out (50k) and staring at Wong.  Eventually something snapped and he just came to a decision - call.

Penly: Kd Jd
Wong: Ahrt Ks

The board came out 9d 7h 2c 4h Qs and the only person who actually looked unhappy at the end of it was Ibrahim Ullah who apparently had folded AK too.

Dave Penly has taken a big chunk of Ibrahim Ullah's stack, betting 7k into what seemed a 25k pot on the river of a Ahrt 2c 4d 9h Qh board, Ullah never looked like folding but quickly mucked when Penly showed Aspades Qc.

Pete Singleton has doubled up with Kings against Adrian Swingler, whatever the latter's hand was, it wasn't good enough on the 7-J-9-4-7 board.

11th hour double through for M3boy...

Raising preflop and getting interest only from big blind Daniel Ward, Paul Garnham got a pretty good flop for his Ks 9s... Kh 8s 6s.  Ward wasn't to know this however, and he bet out 9,500 - when Garnham put the rest of his stack in, the 4,600 more wasn't enough to make him fold (not that he wanted him to) and he got a call with Ahrt Qh.  The turn and river bricked and so Garnham now has about 28,000.

Keith Littlewood has gone from one of the bigger stacks to out.

He called 3k on a 3h 2c 2s flop before raising all-in on the 6h turn against Alan Stearn. Stearn snap calls with Kings and Littlewood's Ac 5d is in deep trouble. 8d on the river and Stearn must rival Rick Trigg for chip leader...
