What I am proposing is selling six 10% slices for £106 on a 70%/30% split of any profit in the staker's favour.

If buying a slice of you at 10% means getting only 70% of the profit that slice generates, then you're actually only selling 7% slices for £106, meaning you're selling at 1.42 (I think - someone can check my maths and correct if I'm wrong)

Also, could you clarify if the money returned to stakers is based on profit or winnings - ie if you cash for £2000, does the staker get 70% of 10% of £2000 or 70% of 10% of £940 (the profit). I assume the former and that you actually meant winnings, rather than profit, as that is more standard when buying slices, as opposed to staking someone fully (putting up 100% of the buyin).

Maybe we need some sort of standard template post for staking requests, as each one is worded differently and it takes a bit of working out what the deal is with each one.

don't know if I'm reading this right but are you saying you're going to pay 40% of the buyin yourself yet you're giving away 70% of the profit?

If I were to cash for £10K a 10%(£106) staker would receive £700 back.

45% has been taken up to now, so 15% still up for grabs.

I'm quite a bit gutted really after putting in a solid shift of nearly eleven hours with little or no cards or situations to play with but having managed to survive with a still very playable stack of 22k starting the final level it all seemed to happen so suddenly.

First of all on a board of A 2 3 6 I bet 3k into a multi-way pot of around 5k holding AT on the button when it was checked to me and firstly Javed and then Howard made what seemed like reluctant calls ! The 4 on the river caused everyone to check and Howard produces pocket 44 which he has only called with on the turn because Javed's call had priced him in.

The very next hand I find AA in the cutoff and Nick (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=306) Hicks (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=306) raises 3xBB to 1200(200/400/50) and I now RR to 3k which Javed naturally calls :) whereupon Nick makes it 10k. I give it a slight dwell hoping to encourage Javed and shove for 16500 total. Javed folds and Nick calls tabling KK which spiked another K on the flop and that I'm afraid is all she wrote.

I can only thank everyone who staked me and say in all honesty that I gave it my very best effort.

There is one other thing that I wish to say and that is....BUGGER !

Tell me how much it is, & I'll settle Ralph up, either directly, or via Tom. (As I did last night). Then you & me can settle up when we next cross paths, as I see you more often than Ralph does. I run so bad.....

I settled this on your behalf last night. I was in DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/), I gave it to Tom, & he then turned round & gave it to Ralph. Don't ask, it all makes sense.

So you are now in my debt. I've always dreamed of this moment.

I'll prob be down in Brighton in January, for at least part of one or both of the two Fessies, we can sort it then.
