Wouldn't mind seeing Will Fry go deep, if only because he could provide some entertainment in the latter stages. Oh, and of course best of luck to Dewi, LeKnave, Chili and all the other blondeite still plugging away.

Boba's done well to struggle back from a shortstack and stay in the hunt.

Go Mayhew 10% :D Good luck also to my mate Jim Buckley (Splash on here). I'm unlikely to head down later but get to FT and I'll come and rail you both!

Sorry Tom that was me with the A9 yesterday. Table was serial limpers of which I was guilty too due to the guy on my right that was unbluffable pre and I wanted to see flops with. Tom will know who I mean. I was convinced you were just raising out limpers pre from late so you were ul and left with a tough TT decision.

My report copied from Betfair below. I'll post it here too just because Snoops and NFH were reporting. I've never met them before and although I still read these boards I've not posted for ages. The guys do a fantastic job reporting so more power to them and good luck today guys.

back now and feeling sorry for myself. Not at any horific beats but at the quantity of them. I've had enough misfortune for more than one tournament and yet played real well for long spells today.

I was down early with KK getting beat on 9 high flop I was ch called. A on turn was checked to me and after action I didnt think this was a bad card so fired again and was called, he then fired 6k on brick river. I passed he didnt show but pretty certain was set of 9s. Lev 2 I get AA one limper in before I raise passed to limper who calls again. Flop 632 he checks I bet, he checks the turn poss fl draw but I fire again slightly bigger more of a blocker and he calls. he checks river and I check behind him and he shows 54 for the straight. Down to 9k but still ok with structure.

I nurse it for about 2 hurs then get on a rush with A9 on bb and a flop of 998. I check shove against Red Dog who dwells and puts me on a drawing hand which is exactly what I wanted it to look like and he calls with TT. Pretty soon after get KK flop K high I lead out and get raised. I shove and pick up a decent pot then a few small ones and get to 32k.

Shortly after 2nd break I get a table move and first hand was TT on bb and flop a set. I win decent pot leading into button raiser and play close to 40k.

Next orbit was the hand listed higher up but not quite accurate. Ep raiser was active and was about third pot in four hands he made 725 (150/300) so I three bet in late with 44 to 2275 and all pass to him who calls. Flop T84 he checks I fire 3k and he calls. Turn was third club he checks I fire 3k hoping for ch-raise as I'm sure its not the flush he calls. River 6 and he leads for 8k. I dwell and call saying if its flush I have to pay him off but it was 97 for the most unlikely straight.

Still comfortable with around 19k I lose a few small pots passing JJ twice n ivercard flops amd then shut down for a while before making a tough call with AJ on KQJK4 board and being good v 99.

I then made one very bad mistake. I didnt play a hand for about two orbits and then raise in late with 43. Flop JTT and the ep player (same 97 man) checks I lead for 1300 he makes it 3400 and I make it 7200. He shoves and I cant call. I had bet out expecting to be ch-raised with the intention of three betting but I guess he felt he could push me off and was right.

I then nurse stack for next 2 and a half hours and dwindle to 5k. With my bb in and 4600 behind I look down to AA. An utg raiser to 1200 and two callers I shove two of the three complete and check it to river but my AA is good for a treble and I'm on 16500.

Very next hand I get QQ in sb and utg limps utg+1 makes it 1400 passed to me. Theres only 40 mins left in day and I decide just to shove. I'm sure they wont believe I have a hand straight after last one and on a bit of a rush. Iif I run into AA or KK then so be it as a chance I'm prepared to take hoping for a loose call from JJ/TT but happy even to collect the 3k+ in the middle and start again tomorrow with 20k. Passed to raiser and he dwells which is good so I think I'm in front or its getting passed. He eventually calls with AK playing about 35000 which tbh I think is a bad call but some may disagree. Flop 88A and thats me gone.

Excellent tournament and Iwas fortunate to see a lot of cards but I just couldnt make them work for me. Biggest comp I've played in this country and really annoying not to run even average for once.

At least I have 10% of Ben so gl to him and Wonky for tomorrow.

BTW I wish I had 72k chips - obviously a typo, should be 33k I think.
(Would have to be some kind of multiple rebuy for me to have that many!!).

GL for the £300-er.

You lost about 40K in chips overnight without playing a hand?  That is a bad beat.

Will see you later on, and I expect you to still be sitting in a seat.

Cheers guys, got flush over flush then had to fold JJ on a K high flop and was down to 2.5k ish for the start of 150/300/25.  Got it in with AJ v 34 and held for a double then shoved AQ over a raise and a call, called by the 2nd guy with QT and I held again.  Last hand of the level I got it in with TT V AQ, flopped a T, K on the turn for the sweat but doubled again to around 16k.  From there I just chipped up on the last level to 32k.

Funniest thing I saw yesterday, a hand played out with a bet and a call on the river, 1 guy flips over trips and the other guy mucks, the players sitting to the right of the guy that mucked picked up the mucked cards and looked which got the player all fired up.  In reponse he open shoved blind UTG for 45k at 200/400/50 on that guys BB, gets 2 callers with AK and AQ, he flips T9 blind.  J82 flop, 8 turn, Q river.  AQ guy bangs the table thinking he's won it  lol.

Good morning/afternoon good people of blonde. Your King Beagle and his loyal servant Floppy are back at DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/) ready to ambush this Day 2 of the DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)'s inaugural Anniversary Cup. Yesterday was a hectic day with more departures than Gatwick airport, with a few unexpected names topping the leaderboard. Noticeable near the peak of the pile is Ben (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1248) Mayhew (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1248) with 115,800, not too far behind Peter Wilson whose ascent to the top came courtesy of a remarkable set over set over set encounter. Speaking to Ben after the final level, even he seemed surprised at his success, confessing to high levels of luck. Although luck surely played a part, it would appear as though he's in good form too - a lethal combination in any tournament.

At the other end of the spectrum, meanwhile, we have resident Eddie Izzard doppelganger Kevin (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2732) Pearce (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2732), alongside Lee McMillan and everybody's favourtie Simpsons character Ned Flanders, who although doesn't quite have (ahem) diddly squat, isn't too far off with just 14,900. All three of these players will be looking to shoot up that list and cement there place in tomorrow's batch. How big that batch will be, however, is anyone's guess, but if they continue falling at this rapid rate, we could be in for a short week.

Although I once started an update from my Ford Fiesta Encore, today no such extreme has been required as we are seated comfortably at ringside. And just to prove that we are indeed present, check out my photographic evidence of the thrilling debagging process in action. This may be one of few day twos for Pete Charlambous however as he appears to fighting a losing battle with his bag. Scissors ftw!

LeKnave bets out 2,225 on a 9h 8h 2d board and finds Glyn Cooke repopping it to 6,000 from behind him. LeKnave gives it a bit of the Hollywood before moving all-in.

"Count please," says Cooke. It's 16,850 more.

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, we don't seem to have witnessed any early casualties, although Ben Mayhew has certainly broken a bone or two. I joined the action just as they were reaching the flop, Pete Charalambous having raised from the small blind before calling a reraise (of about 8,000 total) from Mayhew.

With both players quickly checking the Qh 8s Js flop, Charalambous extracted a chuckle from his neighbour before turning all serious and abruptly announcing all in on the Kd turn. Moments later, all of Charalmbous' chips were scattered across the line (around 35,000) as he sat back with his arms folded, blew out his cheeks and began to write a text as if it was another two players in the hand.

Mayhew, meanwhile, sat back himself, clearly with a tricky decision as he put his hands on the head and sighed. "How much is in the pot?" inquired Mayhew as the dealer spread the chips. "About sixteen in there, buddy," replied Charalambous. With Charalambous smiling inanely at his tortured opponent, Mayhew suddenly spurted out the phrase "all-in" and we had our showdown, Charalambous in dominating shape with Kh Qc versus Mayhew's Ahrt Ks. "Don't get fucking lucky on me," pleaded Charalambous as the dealer reached towards the top of the pack.

River = 4c

And Charalambous doubles though, much to his delight. "Yes, come on!" he said. "Nice hand, buddy," complimented a sportsmanlike Mayhew.

LeKnave bets out 2,225 on a 9h 8h 2d board and finds Glyn Cooke repopping it to 6,000 from behind him. LeKnave gives it a bit of the Hollywood before moving all-in.

"Count please," says Cooke. It's 16,850 more.

I didn't catch the betting pattern, but Paul (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=325) Gourlay (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=325), residing in Las Vegas these days, is fuming like petrol and nurturing a depleted stack of 35,000. The board read Jc Qh 8d 7c 9c, and Gourlay was in the process of calling what appeared to be a circa 10,000 bet from early pace setter James (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2681) Mitchell (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2681). "Fucking hell," exclaimed a frustrated Gourlay as Mitchell turned over a near nutty Ac 8c. "Don't believe it." Five minutes later, Gourlay passed our base, grumbling, "Wish I'd come late, I flopped the straight and lost out to a runner runner flush."

Announcing he was moving all in blind before the cards were even dealt, the depleted stack of Darren Matlock was quickly matched by Dean Lyall who had his man by the short and curlies with Jc Jh versus Jd 4s. But poker's a cruel game, in which even the most dominating hands can be bent over and pummelled. This hand was no different, the board coming a gasp-inducing 9d 7h 2d 7d Ad to deliver Matlock a fortunate double up and Lyall a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp whilst having his testicles clamped in a vice.

Double up for Lee McMillan against Darren Matlock, all-in preflop with Aspades Qs against 3d 3h. McMillan explains how he wants the hand dealt out which would cause the most grief for his opponent.

"I want to come with two spades on the flop and then the 3s on the river!"

5d 7d Qd Ahrt Kh

A sweat for McMillan but he survives, Matlock is crippled though.

On the next table, Lawrence Gosney raises Aleksandrs Karlins flop bet on a 4s Kd Qc to about 8k before betting 12k on the Ts turn. Karlins folds and looks miserable. Gosney shows 7c 5s but doesn't break into a smile.

Joseph Pota has doubled through courtesy of Matthew Lewis. I couldn't help but notice that Lewis' stack was all over the place, which either meant he'd won a decent pot a hand or two earlier, or is the type of lad whose mother was always telling him to clear up his bedroom. Either way, this occasion was not a fruitful one for him, his push with Aspades Qh on a Kd Ahrt 5s flop was looked up by Pota's two pair, Ad 5c. No change on the Td turn and 2h river, and Pota survived.

Adam O'Connell bets 3k on a 5d 7h 2s board and gets called by both Howard Plant and Liaquat Javed.

On the Js, bearing in mind there is about 14k in the pot, Javed now leads out for just 2.5k. O'Connell bumps it up to 6k and Plant passes, Javed calls. The river is the Aspades and Javed checks, O'Connell bets 5k now and Javed quickly folds. O'Connell shows Qh Qd.

William Wallace is out, he was shouting "Freeeeeeeeeeeedooooooooooooooommmmmm" as he left the building though.

Lee McMillan has doubled up again after getting into a raising war on a A-Q-7 board with A-K against A-J. According to Paul McTaggart, there was about four(!) raises on the flop or something silly like that.

It looked as though Kevin O'Connell raised from early position and called a reraise to 5,000 from Peter Hambleton on the button. On the Ad Kc Jd flop, O'Connell check-called a bet of 6,500, before checking the Aspades turn. As the 8s river was dealt, O'Connell led out for 6,000 which, if matched, would leave Hambleton with just 1,000. Although hesitant, Hambleton said "Oh, go on then" and made the call, but was unable to compete with O'Connell's Ahrt Qh. A hand or two later, and Hambleton was gone.

Good news for all you Jim 'Wonkyjim' 'Splash' 'Martin Freeman' 'Tim from the Office' Buckley fans.

He's just knocked out Mark Hayes with Qc Qs vs Ac Ad, a rather helpful four-flush doing it for him.

Cristiano Blanco has been quietly moving along quite nicely just added a healthy 15k or so to his stack. James Green bet 2.5k on a Jh 2d Th, Neil Giblin called and Blanco raised to 8k. Green folded but Giblin called. Here endeth the action though as it went check/check on the turn and river of 9s and 3d. Blanco's Kd Jd was still good though.

Can the Italian, now based in London, make an impression on this competition?

From being second in chips at the start of the day, Ben (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1248) Mayhew (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1248) found himself all in just moments ago, although he had his opponent, Stuart Rolfe, just about covered. As Mayhew stood from his seat and loomed a shadow over the table, you could sense he wasn't confident about his hand and was perhaps thinking more about that long journey home.

As the cards were revealed, Mayhew was indeed in piping hot water, his 6s 6c in need of divine assistance against Rolfe's 8d 8s. The 9d 2c Tc flop was set-less, as was the 9c turn, but as my eyes were fixated on a third six, I missed the flush that finally arrived on the 3c to bail Mayhew out.

A relieved Mayhew retook his seat as a dejected Rolfe congratulated his opponent and trundled towards the door.

A sweat for McMillan but he survives, Matlock is crippled though.

On the next table, Lawrence (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=243) Gosney (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=243) raises Aleksandrs Karlins flop bet on a 4s Kd Qc to about 8k before betting 12k on the Ts turn. Karlins folds and looks miserable. Gosney shows 7c 5s but doesn't break into a smile.

lol

rofl. Go Gosney!!!

Pete Charalambous is firing on all cylinders today. After doubling up off Ben Mayhew earlier in the day, he's now eliminated James Green with Ks Kc versus Ac Ad, all in on the turn of a Jd Qs Kd 9s 2c board. "Sorry, mate," said Charalambous. "Unlucky."

James Harcourt is out. Cristiano Blanco raised the cutoff to 2,100 and Harcourt pushed for about 16k. The Italian calling with Qc Qd in good shape against Ac 8s, especially after Jim Buckley and Thomas Besnier both passed an ace.

At that point, I just felt the one-outer coming...but it didn't on the 7s 3h Kc 6h 2c board. Blanco looks to be on the 70k mark now.

"All in and a call!" exclaimed Howard (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=166) Plant (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=166), trying to summon over Simon (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=400) Trumper (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=400).

"I don't have my microphone," explained Trumper as he reached the table.

"Hold on everyone," shouted a mikeless Trumper as he saw the board. "This is an important one, the board is 6d 7d 6s, one player has Ac Jd, and the other has 6c 6h. Anything can happen."

As the dealer dealt out the academic turn and river, Trumper moaned, "Why do you call me over, he can't win."

Although the two players were temporarily known as 'one player' and 'the other', they did have names, Richard (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=369) Herbert (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=369) eliminating a chip-less Mazhar (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2117) Latif (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2117) to see him hit the rail 76th.

Mayhew's chips have been in and out like the hokey-kokey on speed today, his latest encounter being against Mickey (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=283) Wernick (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=283). I joined the action on the 6h 7d 3c flop, but I'd imagine Mayhew raised it up from the cut-off and Wernick defended from the big blind. On the flop, Wernick led for 8,025, and Mayhew pushed for an additional 9,675. Rarely deeming himself committed, Wernick decided that this was one of those situations that he could escape from, and, after squirming in his seat for a minute or two, did eventually make the fold. As Mayhew scooped up the pot, Wernick showed Aspades 3s to leave himself with circa 25-30,000 in chips.

Daniel Rudd won't do an interview. Too shy.

I've been watching a fair bit of Will Fry play, he's very interesting. He plays every hand with just incredibly weak looking body-language, I suspect on purpose.

Eoin Kennedy raised to 2,000 on the button and Fry bumped it up to 5,700 from the big blind. Kennedy called and then called another 6,700 on the flop of 7h 7s Ts. On the 4s turn Fry asked how much Kennedy had left, it was roughly 20k so Fry bet 13,500 and Kennedy passed after a moment with a sigh. Fry turned over Jd 8s...

Ashfaq Raja has just doubled up twice in 3 hands with Queens vs Jacks, then Aces against Kings.

Tim Flanders is dar-gone-diddly. He held 9d 6d but ran into Peter Semmens's Qc Tc on a Th 9h 2c Kd 7c board.

Cristiano Blanco leads out for 4.5k on a Th 8d 5s and Michaela Kalmar raised to 12k. The Italian makes the call but then folds when Mrs Kalmar moves all-in for 15,525 and Blanco is at the, "Will you show if I pass?" stage. He flashes the Td and folds, Mrs Kalmar shows Jacks.

Cristiano Blanco is having a bit of a rush so far today.

He just called a 10k bet on the river of a Td 3c 9s Aspades 7s board with Ahrt 5d which was good as Jim Buckley could ony show Jc Ts.

Dave Jones has dropped to about 49k after a losing a couple of decent pots, though he's still rather happy about calling three streets with Ad Jd on a Q-Q-x-x-x board and having his opponent instantly muck after the river call.

Maria Demetriou can't bear to look as she moves all in with her tournament life on the line, her Ahrt 5h in need of assistance against the Jc Jd of Mark Emberson on a 5d 3h 8h flop.

The Qs turn changes the nothing, but the Ad river does, and it's finally safe for Chili to take a peak through her fingers. She's now on 30,000.

Lawrence Gosney raises preflop and Ben Mayhew reraises from the blinds a hefty amount. Gosney makes the call.

Ad Tc Ts

The action is very fast and before I can even write it down both players are all-in!

Gosney: Ahrt Qd

Mayhew: Ac Kd

Th

3s

As the third ten hits the turn, Ben rolls his eyes skywards as he's forced to chop the pot with Gosney. A win would've been massive and probably put back amongst the chip lead giving him 120k or so. As it stands, he's still on about 60k.

The two hour clock doesn't appear to be slowing down our remaining players, the latest departure of Daniel Cochrane completing what was a frenzied domino effect of exits. His assassin was the wonderfully named Sadikiah Tapper whose Ac 6c was more than enough versus 4d 4c on a 2h 3h Ahrt 7c Tc board, all da monies going in preflop. Speaking of 'da monies', when did 50 cents start taking up poker, in particular 'in da DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/) club'?

Two doubles occurred simultaneously:

(1) Richard Herbert doubled up courtesy of Liaquat Javed with Th 8h versus Aspades Js all in on the flop of an Ahrt 5h 4d 4h 5s board.

(2) John Burke survived a 6h 7h Tc flop with Qs Qd versus Lawrence Gosney's 8h 7d. Qh turn, Ac river.

Winn, Lose or Draw

Mark Winn made a big ol' push for about 35k into a 10k pot on a 8d Ahrt 3h board. Paul Brammer correctly deduced he was on a flush draw and made the call with Aspades 4h, against Winn's Th 9h. No more hearts appeared on the board and Winn was gone.

Also out is 'UpTheMariners' Daniel Rudd, all-in preflop with Aces against two players, one of whom had K-T and flopped two pair to take the pot. It's back to making hero calls online for the Ruddster...

Tim to pick the brains of our readers. At the start of the level, Peter Charalambous had 115,000. He raised to 1,800 preflop with from latish position with A-K, only for Ben Mayhew to push for 32,000. Is this a call you would make with that stack? Charalambous wasn't convinced and later regretted, "I didn't need to do that, did I Snoops," although there were a number of other players who quite fancied taking that on.

What do you reckon. Call or fold?

It seem's obvious Ben's not strong and has a pocket pair that he wants to take down preflop! Hes only commited 1800 though with AK and doesn't have a made hand, so I think it's a fold!

It goes check check between Sean Phillips and Dewi James on the river of a Ad 6s Jh Kd Ts board.

Dewi turns over 2h 2d...it's good, Phillips has 4s 3s.

Ash Hussain may have triumphed in Luton this week, but brother 'Zippy' Zahir Aslam won't be echoing that win just yet, his demise coming right at the death. With John Eames making it 1,600 from the cut-off, Christopher Bell smooth-called from the small blind, and Zippy pushed from the big blind, for what appeared to be around 10,000 more. With Eames making the call, and Bell stepping out of the way, it was on their backs, Zippy perhaps content to be alive with 9h 9c versus Ks Qc. The 8s 6d 2d 7c board looked as harmless as a kitten in mittens, but the Kd river dealt out a cruelly timed blow that left Zippy ruing his coin-flipping luck.

might just be me as i'm a loose donk but I think folding the AK is too nitty!!! your at a stage where a comanding chip lead over the table will aid your aims of winning the thing!!! your almost certainly flipping here as AA & KK are trying to get more value out of you and AQ suited is also a small possibilty. The fact you also have plenty to play with behind should you lose makes it an easier decision IMO

Your new chip leader is Kevin O'Connell. He turned a flush on a king high board, two clubs with Ac 5c, and called as start-of-the-day chip leader Peter Wilson pushed with Ks Qc. The river was a blank, allowing O'Connell to rake in what appeared to be a 150,000 plus pot.

Big pot between Glynn Cooke and Cristiano Blanco. The board was reading Ks 4d 2s and LeKnave pointed to Cooke saying, "He's bet/3bet all-in here."

Eventually after some serious dwellage. Blanco folded.

True, but I'm not sure I'd put Ben on a weaker ace. I think this is a coin-flip most of the time. Do we want to double up a player to our left, and do we really want to coin-flip for 32,000 when we have 115,000. Peter seemed to regret the call, but obviously hindsight is a useful tool.

Sad news for Dewi James fans, but good news for the Guinness corporation. Everybody's favourtie Welshman (Tom Jones aside) has just been eliminated by Cristiano (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=512) Blanco (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=512) in what was a classic coin-flip. With his tournament life hanging by a thread, Dewi was looking to avoid one of six cards with Jc Jd versus the Italian Stallion's (that's Blanco, by the way) Ahrt Kd. The flop was inhospitable, however, and the grimace from Dewi as a 8d Ks 9c hit the felt spoke volumes. But it wasn't over just yet, and although a Tc prised a rye smile from Dewi, it was merely a teaser as the river dealt out a blank in the form of the 6c. A quick tap of the table, a "good luck" to his former opponents, and Dewi was gone, a dejected frown on his face, but a Guinness in his hand.

All hail King Bokker!

Today's bokker crown belongs to Simon (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=400) Trumper (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=400), DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)'s compere without compare claiming, "We have an all-in, but it's a split pot" as Mark (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=260) Emberson (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=260) took on Luke Marsh with Ahrt Qd versus Ac Qc on a 4h 4c Ad flop. But the former Late Night Poker champion had jumped the gun and not spotted the possible backdoor flush draw, which duly arrived on the 8c turn and Tc river.

Ooooooh, nasty, as Knightmare's Treguard would say.

All-in between Mark Emberson and Mohammed Javed as Simon Trumper comes over to commentate.

"It's Ad Qd vs Ahrt Qs...and the flop is Ac 8d 2c. Another diamond could make this interesting..."

Immediately, Mohammed Javed (far left in the pic) shouted crossly, "Shut up!"

No diamond though, running 8's gave us a split pot.

Kevin Matthews has doubled through Lawrence Gosney with Aces vs Kings on an 8-high board.

Mickey Wernick is out after a highly frustrating day. He ran Aspades Qd into Mohammed Javed's Ahrt Ks on a Qc 4s Kd Ac board. As Wernick rose from his seat and awaited the river, there was a pause as the dealer seemed intent on waiting for Simon Trumper to arrive, microphone in hand. "Just deal the fucking card," requested Wernick irritably, one foot already out of the door. The dealer duly obliged, but the 8c river changed nothing, and that was all she wrote for the Worm.

First man out after the break was Alan Trueick. He pushed from the cut-off for 18,100 with 6d 6c, but was looked up by Ints Grinbaums in the big blind who defended with 9d 9s. The 3d 7d 2c 4d board provided extra outs, but the river blanked out.

The meat lasagna was clearly laced with caffeine, as we're witnessing all-ins like they're going out of fashion. The latest involved Darren Matlock, doubling through his 19,200 with A-Q versus 8-8, queen on the river.

Alan Stearn, who won last month's DTD £300 leads out for 9k on a Tc 8s 2d, Ben quickly bumps it up to 24.5k with about 40k behind. Stearn thinks for ages, and I mean ages, to the point of which I'm thinking someone will call the clock but no-one does (as an aside, I've not seen a single clock called in the last two days, which is pretty cool). Stearn eventually passed. Mayhew showed Ac Qd.

Pete Charalamabolousousususus is out. He held Ac Ahrt on a 7c 6c 2h board but ran into big Trevor Reardon's 7h 6s.

Adam O'Connell is out, he ran Th Ts into 3d 3c on a 3h 2d Js 2h 8d board...

After a topsy-turvy tournament, Jim (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1242) Buckley (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1242) has finally bitten the dust at the hands of local player Mohammed Javed. Most all-ins at the moment seem to be preflop, and this was no different, Buckley looking to spike one of six outs with Ad Kc versus 6s 6d. However, neither an ace or a king arrived on a 4c Tc Qh Ts 8s board meaning Buckley had splashed out of the tournament. Javed, meanwhile, appears to have joined a very elite club, the 100kers!

Eoin Kennedy and Mohammed Shakoor find themsevles all in on a 9c 4c 7h flop with 9h 9d versus Kc Qc respectively. Jc on the river keeps Shakoor alive.

Shakoor -- 51,000
Kennedy -- 2,800

Lawrence Gosney moves all-in preflop against a series of limps, Peter Semmens moves all-in behind and all the others pass.

Semmens flips over Aces as Simon Trumper comes over to commentate.

"And Lawrence Gosney is all-in for his tournament life, he's up against aces. Lawrence has 5c 2h."

A titter from the crowd.

"And the flop is 5d, Lawrence has hit his five, 4s and 5s. Lawrence has trips!"

"Ooooooooooooh" goes the DTD cardroom.

But then..."Oh the Ad has come on the turn!" says Simon as his commentary causes even more coolers to occur. "Lawrence needs the case five on the river, but it's the 6d and we've lost Lawrence Gosney!"

By the way, we're suffering a little with delays as DTD have had to move us from one table to another, due to the fact they have FOUR tournaments going now at the same time. The £1k, the £300, the £75 and the Student event plus maybe four or five cash tables.

DTD is probably as busy as I've seen it since the Norwegian Poker Championships.

Kevin Matthews has doubled up at the hands of Rickie Vedhara in what was possibly the most familiar coin-flip of the all.

Matthews = Qh Qd
Vedhara = Aspades Ks

Board = Jd 2c 3s 4d Js

Matthews was short-stacked, so Vedhara still has around the 55,000 mark.

The very active Daniel Haglund fires 20k on the river of a Qc 2c 5d 9c 2s, Glynn Hodges makes the call and Haglund instantly mucks. Hodges allows himself a little fistpump and a "Come on" as he turns over Jd Jc to win the hand.

Colin Hinds has gone out with Queens to Mark Wilson's Aces.

Billy Defty raised it up preflop with Ad 8d from early position and John (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1515) Eames (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1515) made the call with Kd Qd.

The 9d Td 6d flop was a cruel one, and inevitably resulted in a double up for Defty who now had 130,000.

James Mitchell is looking very fed up with about 17k left.

"I've had A-K, A-Q and K-Q lots of time over the last couple of hours but every time the flop comes like ten-high all of one suit, which isn't mine.

Still he has a repushable stack at this moment, so all is not lost yet.

There's only two minutes remaining at this level, at which point there will be another break, but it's noticeable that that action has really slowed down of late. Maybe it's simply fatigue, but I think it was always inevitable that we'd grind to a halt later in the day, especially with the structure allowing players so much room to play.

Play has slowed right down (I was going to say stopped but then Neil Giblin got knocked out by Lee McMillan with A-K vs 9-9 and failing to spike). But there are noticeably fewer flops going on and everyone has tightened up. Lagtard it up!

Players now on a break.

Out in 44th is Kevin Matthews, finding himself all in with Kh 9h versus Steve Jelinek's 4d 2d on a 4s 9d 4h flop. As Simon Trumper announced the hole cards, he heavily emphasised the 4d 2d, and for a moment I thought he was going to add, "Four two? Four two? How can you get it in with that rubbish?" Thankfully, he refrained from any such interrogation and the turn and river were dealt, both of which were blanks to give Jelinek the pot.

Daniel Haglund is out. Caught firing three barrels according to my source, 2,500 preflop, 4,500 on the flop, 8,500 on the turn and all in on the river. If you're ever going to rattle out three bullets though, probably best not to pull the trigger when your opponent has a nut flush.

Incidentally, unless we play 5 levels, we're playing down to 27 players tonight. Meaning 9 guys are gonna have come back for a third day and still leave with nothing, which kinda sucks but hey, that's the way tournaments go. (And of course, the ME event of the WSOP is very similar).

Double up for Paul "I'm Still Standing" Gourlay. He was all-in with 8c 8s against Paul Brammer's Ahrt Qc with the board coming out 7c 5s 2h ("A good flop for eights" says Simon Trumper) 4h ("He needs an Ace, Queen or three," "Don't do it!" murmus Paul) 9h.

And Paul Gourlay doubles to almost 40k.

Is that your expert opinion? :D

How about four bullets ?

It was actually LeKnave who had flopped the nut-flush and checked all three streets to Haglund to let him hang himself. Very Rounders-esque.

If an EPT wasn't enough, Budapest champion Will Fry is looking to add a DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/) title to his new trophy cabinet. With Andy (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=104) O'Flaherty (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=104) raising it up UTG with Jc Js, Fry repopped on the button with Qc Qd, before calling an all-in check-raise on the Ts 2h Td flop. "That'll do it then," commented a defeated O'Flaherty as the turn came a Qs. The academic 8d river seeing a nice pot go Fry's way, and thus making him a real contender to go deep in this week's event.

Double up for James Mitchell, all-in with Aspades Ks against Michaela Kalmar's Jd Jh

7s Qd Qc...Ts (Mitchell shouts, "Jack of spades!" jokingly)...5s

And Mitchell doubles up to about 35k. 39 players remaining.

And Mr Fry continues to run well, he's just knocked out Andrew Seabright with A-K vs A-J after spiking a king and fading a turned flush draw.

He's no doubt spying the title in the distance.

Double ups are like buses for James Mitchell, not overcrowded, smelly and covered with an inch of piss on each floor, but rather arriving in pairs after waiting an age for one to come along. On this occasion, it was Mohammed Javed who supplied the chips, his 6d 6c unable to hold up against Mitchell's Jd Th on a 9c 3c 9s Jd 4c board.

After a brief lull earlier, the pace has really picked up again, almost in a cyclical manner. The most recent moment of drama coming on Chili's table, Jon (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=220) Kalmar (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=220) exiting at the hands of Paul Brammer. Brammer raised with Kd Ks from the button, Kalmar pushed with Ac Qs from the big blind, and Brammer called. The 9c 3c 9s Jd 4c board was about as helpful as a BT sale's assistant and last year's WSOP finalist was disconnected.

"All in," announced Stearn, much to the surprise of not only opponent David Anderson, but also the rest of the table. Another glance down confirmed that Stearn has indeed moved in for around 60,000. "I don't want you to draw," claimed Stearn as he detected eyes widening. After his bemused face dispersed, Anderson eventually made the call and revealed Jc Jh. Stearn tabled 7h 4h. The 3d turn and 7c river were no good, Stearn hitting the bricks in more ways than one. "Why do people come to play a deepstack for if they're going to do things like that?" inquired a baffled, but grateful Anderson after his subject had left.

Maria has added about 12k to her stack after a raise to 5.5k was flat-called by the button and Maria moved in for about 35k before hiding her face in the pillow provided by the massage lady. Both players folded and she showed Kings...

After James Mitchell's two double ups, he's then gone and knocked out a player getting it all-in with 8s 7s on a Tc 8c Jh 7d board after he got 3-bet preflop and made the call. Surprisingly his opponent turned over K-9 for the turned straight, but Mitchell caught the 8d on the river for a house before admitting, "I've had the 'Run-good hour'."

Aleksandrs Karlins has been knocked out by Alan Jennings, Aspades Ks failing on the 2-3-4-6-Q board against Tc Ts. Peter Semmens turned to Karlins and said, "I think I'll be joining you at the bar soon..." He might, he only has about 20k left.

Paul Brammer made it 3,600 from late position, only for Will Fry to bump it up to a total of 9,600 from the small blind. Paul Brammer looked his opponent up and down before making the fold. Fry turned over 3h 2d. "Were you winning?" asked Kevin Pearce.

Maria is out.

She raised to 3,500 from midposition. Will Fry thought about, then a bit more, then he folded. David Anderson called from the big blind.

Ts Qs 2s

Check check.

7h

Check from Anderson, Maria bets 5k. To which Anderson makes it 15k. To which Maria makes it all-in. Anderson asks for a count, and Maria appears fairly confident now as the 39.2k is counted out. After about a minute, Anderson says call and turns over Js 9s for the flopped flush with straight flush draw. Maria looks a bit shocked and mouths, "Wow," (obviously because how long it took to call) as she turns over Kh Qh and is drawing dead. The 5c on the river changes nothing and we're down to 31.

Afterwards Anderson defends the speed of his calling saying, "I thought she had a bigger flush!"

Ints Grinbaums raised to 3,800 preflop and Liaquat Javed called. Both players checked the Jh 9d Qd flop, but Javed was less hospitable on the 3d turn, leading out for 5,000. Grinbaums called. A Ts on the river triggered a bet of 10,000 from Javed, which, after some major dwellage from Grinbaums, was enough to take down the pot.

Sadikiah Tapper has doubled up his short stack with a reshove holding the Tikay special Jh 4h against Rickie Vedhara who made the call with Ahrt Th.

Tapper survived after spiking on the Qc 4d 6h 3h 8c board.

"Yeaaaah baby," gleamed Richard Herbert as he scooped in the pot. The double up process started with Paul Brammer, who raised it up to 3,600 preflop. Richard Herbert came over the top for 15,100 all in on the button, but David Anderson made a surprise call from the small blind, and with Brammer also making the call, three players reached a Kc Ahrt Qd flop. As expected, Brammer and Anderson both checked, and again on the 2d turn and Ad river, at which point Herbert revealed Aspades Qh for the full house. Brammer mucked, and Anderson could only muster Jd Jc.

Will Fry calls a raise from Richard Herbert.

Td Qd 5c

Check check.

5s

Will Fry autobets 5k before the card comes down. After a thought, Herbert calls.

Tc

Fry quickly checks, Herbert bets 7k and Fry now raises to 22k. Herbert shakes his head and folds.

Herbert has since been knocked out holding Kd Td and failing to beat Paul Brammer's A-8 off.

The Italian journalist, now based in London ("I love everything about it apart from the weather!") is the chip leader and comfortably so at the moment.

On a 6d Js Ts 8s board, he bets 8k and gets a called from James (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2681) Mitchell (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=2681) on the button. Bad beats are painful at the best of times, but when they come following two days of grinding, they can hurt like a sledgehammer to the groin. Sadly for Peter Semmens, it was he who felt metal on scrotum as he found himself in dominating shape with tens versus the pocket eights of Kevin O'Connell. But, of course, a third snowman arrived, and Semmens' hopes of returning for day two melted before him. Nevertheless, he took his defeat in fine spirits, and departed with a smile. 28 remain.

"I'm falling asleep," says Mark Wilson, and he's not the only one, many of the players looking like death warmed up as the clock makes its final ticks. Floppy actually scoured the remaining tables to see if anyone was awake, and reported back that not one person looked fresh or alert. This last level in general has been very arduous in some ways, hands more comparable to trundling through treacle with anvils attached to your feet than the frantic pace we witnessed at the start of the day. But it's to be expected, it's been a long, tough battle, and it's understandable if players need to take more time on their decisions to ensure they make the right one. A rash, and fatal move at this time in the day would cause any player to lose several hours of sleep.

A nice pot trickles Paul (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=325) Gourlay (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=325)'s way. With the board reading 6h 8d 8h 4d 9d, his leading bet of 6,000 was reraised by Liaquat Javed who added circa 15,000 more.

"Anyone else, and I fold this in an instant," said Gourlay shaking his head.

"I call," he announced out of the blue and chucking three purple chips into the pot.

Javed tapped his cards against the felt in submission, and a jubilant Gourlay took down the pot with 7d 5h.

"I didn't want to come back with a short-stack," added Gourlay. "What I would have had spare would have gone in on the next hand."

As it is, he triumphed in that last minute encounter, and will probably finish the day with around 80,000 in chips.

Raise from Mohammed Javed in late position and a flat-call from James Mitchell from the blinds.

Aspades Qd Ts

Check from Mitchell, Javed bets 6k, Mitchell makes it 17k. Javed now makes it 37k and Mitchell quickly moves all-in for about 47k more. And after this flurry of activity Javed tanks.

Eh? Oh, Mohammed Javed has called! After about 10 minutes...

Javed has Mitchell covered by about 2.5k and Mitchell shows Qh Qc for a flopped set. Javed turns over Ahrt 7d and he's gonna need runner runner here.. The 9h on the turn seals it for Mitchell and the river Th gives him a house and a 200k pot. Javed is left with just a couple of thousand and leaves. I don't think he's coming back tomorrow...

But we will be!

Play restarts tomorrow with 28 players from 2pm.

As Mayhew scooped up the pot, Wernick showed Aspades 3s to leave himself with circa 25-30,000 in chips.

nice donk bet mickey

Tim to pick the brains of our readers. At the start of the level, Peter (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1853) Charalambous (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1853) had 115,000. He raised to 1,800 preflop with from latish position with A-K, only for Ben (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1248) Mayhew (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=1248) to push for 32,000. Is this a call you would make with that stack? Charalambous wasn't convinced and later regretted, "I didn't need to do that, did I Snoops," although there were a number of other players who quite fancied taking that on.

What do you reckon. Call or fold?

results orientated u reckon

It seem's obvious Ben's not strong and has a pocket pair that he wants to take down preflop! Hes only commited 1800 though with AK and doesn't have a made hand, so I think it's a fold!

omg my hangover is 10x bad after reading this. plz stop
