Title: Best and worst presents
Post by: PocketLady on December 25, 2008, 03:58:15 PM
So what were your best and worse presents this year??

They were all great.  I wouldn't say a bad word about any of my presents, that would be ungrateful and churlish.

Both of my presents were adequate.

Snoopy adopted me a penguin at the zoo. :) It's called Roxy. Apparently it was thrown out of another zoo for taunting and intimidating the other penguins. Awesome.

We did secret santa this year in our family coz we're nits, you write a list of ideas and stuff you might like and your secret santa picks from that list.

My list contained the word "jumper" coz I wouldn't mind a decent jumper, know what I mean.

I got 4x Primark jumpers for christmas.

Best present.  Black Primark jumper
Worst present.  Red Primark jumper.

gg Christmas  :D

I love anything that is wrapped with my name on it in principle but...

Best:  Horrible Science Violent Volcano, which comes with little people you can catastrophically destroy
Worst:  A wrapped-up chapstik
Weirdest:  Life-size chocolate shoes

I wasnt joking,

Unless someone else takes control of your account it's very difficult to imagine this happening: "you will soon see thethe quality of my posts increasing dramatically"

saying that your posts cant get much worse so theres always chances.

Best present: Two bottles of quality vodka. Won't last long.

Worst present: My brother getting me Tiger Woods Golf 2001 - yes 2001 - for the playstation 2. Especially lame given my PS2 broke about a year ago and I now have an xbox 360. "GG?" - n o.

Best christmas moment: Punching my brother repeatedly in the head on Wii Boxing.

lol, Bolt .  I have pleurisy at the moment, so I am just taking it easy watching the 24 series 6 box set. It is a great illness to make people in queues get out of your way. All I do is mention it to another customer and they seem to move. I think they are getting mixed up with leprisy.

I also got the 2009 Pro Evo game. Last month I actually bought it, however it developed a fault and I exchanged it for another game.  Pro Evo is great, however I find Man United are so much better than everyone else it is a bit unrealistic.  I beat Rangers 14-0 earlier playing as Man U.  Are Rangers really that bad in real life?

That's just silly, Mr Sark. In real life, it would be 24-0. You do know Rangers are a Scottish side, yes?

Best: From my Dad, a day at channel 4 racing with a +1, inc. breakfast with the morning line team, meeting all the team and guests, then going to the races.

Worst: A dark chocolate, Chocolate Orange from my mum (not the only present from her obv). Ive made it prefectly clear to her for the last 20 years that i don't like Dark Chocolate.

Is Tommo still as despised as he used to be? I lost touch a while back, but there was utter revulsion towards him after the Ramsden affair. From which I exempted myself, because I never liked him in the first place, with his inane questions.

To the Derby wining jockey, still in the saddle, "so Willie, did you enjoy that?".......I mean, ffs.

Well he still asks stupid questions all the time...but he means well, I guess.

He's actually quite a nice chap, I think...just a bit erm...socially inept?

Ive always liked him as a presenter but he's supposed to be a proper tight bastard, they were all taking the mick out of him on the morning line years ago about him getting a round at the bar and he was laughing along with them but you could tell they were laughing at him.
