Cost per year of this channel £14-£21m per annum (dependant upon the reports) Gaelic speakers according to 2001 census 58,000. Average cost per speaker of the new channel £240-£360 per annum. BBC's "target audience of 250,000 people "in the short term" for the Gaelic-language service." Note this is 4 x the actual number of Gaelic speakers! which has been declining. Based on the above, the BBC expects 80% of the viewing audience to not have a clue what is being said! Title: Re: What is this funny channel..?? Post by: thetank on December 28, 2008, 01:00:22 AM Most of the viewers of Gaelic programming are children, who will not have appeared on the last census.
Bilingual children tend to pwn more in later life. Title: Re: What is this funny channel..?? Post by: bolt pp on December 28, 2008, 04:17:44 AM can we just wait and see what class of porn the channel comes ot with before judging please!
