Title: 68s uited
Post by: david3103 on January 20, 2009, 12:13:03 PM
small stakes live MTT, starting stack 2,000 chips, blinds 50/100
(it may be small stakes but it is taken seriously by the vast majoirty of players)
8 players at the table
Table has been steady, I have a stack of 2700 and am in mid position
it's called round to me and I have  6d 8d
I call
as does everyone else to make a family pot

Flop is   3d 7h Ts
SB checks
BB bets 200 into a pot of 800
fold
fold
fold
I call
all others fold leaving me HU with the BB

Turn card is ( 3d 7h Ts) Ad

BB bets 300 into pot of 1200

he's been very quiet, has taken an age to even look like he's aware it's his turn on every hand and appears to be attempting to cultivate a strong silent image.

me??
do I call with my small FD and gutshot? he must have something to be betting but the bet sizes suggest either an A or a 10 to me? Hopefully both since if I hit I want to be paid

edited to remove 4 outs

I would have raised on the flop, and you could raise now, but as he's made it so cheap, calling is not terrible.

Also you have an up and down straight draw, not a gutshot, you have 15 outs...

edited my post - the size of the diamond on flop wasn't a feature in the hand and I had mis-remembered it.. may even have been the  2d
