Oi - ill have you know we got the electricity installed up here last week! Although I am still powering my 484 PC with coal - and this MS DOS really is feeling out of date!

Still - at least we speak to each other in friendly tones and you can get from one side of town to the other without mortgaging your tiny flat!

London - where they re - invent phrases to make sh1t things sound a bit better so they can still charge a fortune - a "garden flat" - is a basement flat with 1 window looking onto someones elses lawn! A "village" is now a street when the bigger older houses have been converted into 15 flats and they have a corner shop at the end of the road!

I come home from work at 10.40pm last night and hes still asleep on my sofa from the night before!.

He was supposed to be going down to London with Jones in the afternoon but wouldnt wake up.

So he then proceeded to pay Rich and I to go to Mcdonalds for his "breakfast" so he didnt have to go alone, and then started asking us whether we think he should drive down to London by himself.

We said probably not, its miles, and itll be lonely, and he might aswell grind online.

With no warning he grabbed his keys, got in his car and drove off into the night sky.

big pot on table 10 involving Robert Lim.  Three players had seen a  3s 6d Kc.  Lim, first to act, bet 1500 into the 1800 pot, called in one spot.  Lim fired out another 3k on the  8h turn (leaving himself just 5.3k behind), called again.  Lim elected the check the  7s river.  After a good minute or so thinking things through, his opponent made it 5075, and Lim reluctantly folded.

Action on table 4!  With blinds at 300/400/25 Jack Powell raises to 1k UTG. Shane Hellyer in mid-position flat calls the raise, as does William Martin on the button.  Checked to Martin on the  8c Qs Jc flop, and Martin fires out a bet of 2100.  Powell dwells up for a while, a couple of time picking up all his chips (around the 8k mark) as if he is going to move in, but ultimately folds, seemingly somewhat reluctantly.  Hellyer instantly moves all in and is just as instantly called by Martin.  On their backs and Martin shows  8h 8d for trips against Hellyers  Qd Td.  No help for Hellyer on the turn or river, and Martin doubles up to 20k.

The Rutter brothers have finally been split up .... I was beginning to fear that they would be together longer than Staus Quo !!

Devin Lo raises to 2k in early position and Roland De Wolfe responds by pushing his short stack all in.  Donal Norton on the button also announces 'all in' and the blinds pass.  Not realising that Lo still has cards, Donal flips over his  Aspades Qh, which makes it an easy call for Lo for his entire stack of around 20k with  Ad Kd.  De Wolfe also has  Ahrt Kc.  Donal binks the Q on the flop, and it's game over for Lo and De Wolfe, as Norton scoops up the chips.

Knocked out hours ago and triple steaming on-line just thinking about the 5 hand gimmick at the end of the day.
Maybe I need to see a doctor but nothing gets me more upset in poker than missing hands that should be played.
Live poker is permanantly tilt inducing as it is by being slower than anything known to man, but to exacerbate it is excruciating.
Remember in one comp, think in US, finishing the 3 hands or whatever and there was still about 6 minutes on the clock.
I felt like a broken man who's house had been robbed.
The only time I ever feel like inflicting physical violence is when some dealers look at the clock with 40 seconds left on the level and say `break time'.
Hardly ever seen people stall late in the day if no money involved, I mean surely most who are low want to get chips or get to spend the night back at home.
Do they really want to waste a night of their lives sleeping in some dump in god forsaken Walsall, Luton or Bolton!
If anyone starts stalling, put the clock on them immediately, berate them and steal their blind with any 2.
