David Johnson has just arrived after getting caught up in traffic.  He'd lost about 8k of his day 2 starting stack by the time he sat down to play some cards.  First hand played, and he makes a standard raise from the button.  Stefan Hansen in the small blind is having none of it, and pops in a reraise to 12k.  Johnson reponds by moving all in for an additional 16k.  Stefan mulls it over for some time - "first hand you sit down and you have a monster?" before throwing his cards into the muck.  Johnson's cards quickly follows suit, and he seems pretty happy to be up to around 40k.

I just caught up with Moorman table-side.  He told me he'd managed to get his stack up to 35k and had made a mid position raise with  Qc 9h.  Donal Norton, sitting behind flat called the raise.  Chris told me that he'd seen Norton flat calling raises with monster hands earlier in the day, but wasn't unduly worried this time.  Anyhoo, the flop came  Ts 9h 7c and, having already had to pass to a raise from Norton to a flop bet, Moorman elected to check raise all in.  Norton made the call with  Jd Jc and there was no further help for the Moomin.

I agree m8. They should try using there postion and play a little poker, rather than moan about no cards, complete $#2$#%%3

Not sure Jambo tbh ... i think they are going to assess it at the end of the next 2 levels.... and then if necessary they will add another level tonight.

Oops - sorry, I've just realised I've been referring to our player Samuel Oatley as Samuel Oaten all day :(

I didn't pick up on this at the time Alex, but to be honest (and only in my own humble opinion of course) Oatley seems a little inexperienced to me, and perhaps nerves were at play here?  In any event, he has plenty of chips, so fair play to him!

Tore Lagerborg and Jamie Brown have apparently been going at it for a while (in a poker sense), raising and 3 betting each other at every opportunity.  It was only a matter of time before they would both find big hands and fireworks would ensue.

I watched as Lagerborg made a raise to 15k in early position and Brown, 2 to Lagerborg's left, re-popped to 46.2k.  Passed back round to Lagerborg, who moves all in for 110k, insta-call from Brown.

Lagerborg has   Kh Kd while brown flips over  Ac Kc.  board is  Qd Kh Ad 8d 2d and Lagerborg gets the double up.

I've been watching the action on table 7 for the last 15 minutes or so and a couple of hands of note have taken place.

In the first, Sunny Chattha has raised in mid position to 32.5k.  Tony  Dobson on the button asks how much Sunny has behind, and is told 'around 140k'.  Meanwhile, Andreas (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=466) Hagen (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=466) in the big blind asks the TD who is standing next to him whether, if he gets up to fetch his beer, his hand will be folded.  The TD helpfully points out that his beer is right next to him 'Oh.  That's great' declares Hagen, taking a swig.  Dobson passes and, Hagen then looks at his cards and is deciding whether to call to Chatta's raise.  Tony says 'you said you were going to fold' and asks the TD if that is binding.  Hagen protests that he didn't, he merely asked if his hand would be folded if he left the table.  The TD confirms that he didn't say he was going to fold.  Dobson asks for confirmation that if he had said it, it would be binding, and the TD confirmed that it would.  Hagen said that he had been going to call, but was now going to pass as he feels the hand has been somewhat tainted.  No hard feelings though, and he and Tony shake hands and we move on to the next hand without further comment.

Very next hand and Julien Legros raises to 31k in mid position, flat called by Dobson in the cut off.  The rest pass and Legros bets 47k on the  Jd 6c Qd flop.  Dobson goes into the tank for a bit before announcing 'all in', and Legros calls.  Legros:  Kd Kc  Dobson:  5c 5s.  The  Ks on the river seals the deal for Legros, and he doubles up to over 400k

And as I typed up the last post, I saw Tony Dobson saying his goodbyes with a wad of 4.5k pounds sterling in his hand, and he is our 15th placed finisher.  I gather he lost with  Kc Qs to Charles Chattha's  Th Td.
