Title: wsop Post by: julian on March 29, 2009, 10:13:03 AM i head to vegas for 3 weeks at the end of june & want to sell some shares in 2 wsop events that i've not played before, the 10k PL championship event on the 23rd june & the 5k NL 6max on the 30th june.
i'm selling up to 50% in each & because of the location/x's i'm selling at 1.1. this comes in at $165 for a 1% share in both, or $110 for the PL & $55 for the 6max. i'm guessing a stars transfer is best, pls pm me if interested! was on a pretty snug table w jason mercier & adam junglen. was up to 17 from 15 when negraneau sits down - obv a gormless 5 deep crowd appear & fawn all over him & his antics. he 3 + 4 bets the first two hands he's dealt pre flop & then on the third he calls my raise...i have AK & bet 800 on the K,5s,9s flop, he makes it 2100, i call. blank on the turn he opens shoves like 17k into a 5k pot. i decide to take my chances, he has Js7s & misses, i'm up to 35k. next hand he shoves last 5k in blind, i call quickly w 1010 in the SB, he rolls over motherf@cking aces & doubles. rail goes wild as he proceeds to double again & now sits on 20k. one orbit later at 75/150 he open shoves 20k, i find AK in the sb, he has A10 & flops trips. it now materialises that he made day2 in some stud comp that starts at 2 & i don't see him again...shame. junglen & mercier bust & david williams appears - we get a smaller 2 deep rail now. hover around 15k for level 3 & 4 & then i 3 bet an agro russian w 97s fr the button, he calls & i bet 1200 on the 2,5,6 flop. he called, ace on turn, check, check, queen on river he led for 3k & i shoved for 13k...he took a long while & i was sure i had it but he eventually called w A5. sorry about that ppl, felt like the right spot... don't get me wrong, i'm pretty sure negranua is a stand up guy, i just can't be doing with all those antics at the table - not my cup of tea. i'm probably one of the laziest pro's on the circuit w maybe 1 or 2 comps a week normally but i'm really enjoying playing every day over here & am feeling in the groove - i'm making a few more well timed moves & on the whole they are working well...
