Blinds are now 50k/100k, and players start the hand roughly even in chips. Trotman puts in a raise from the small blind to 290k and Silke calls. Both players tap the table following the 3d 3s 5h flop and we see the Qc on the turn. Silke check-calls a bet of 300k from Trotman. Jh on the turn, and this time Silke takes the initiative and pushes in 420k. Trotman counts out 420k from his stack and has a good old think before making the call. Both players seem reluctant to show their cards and Trotman tells Silke that he has to show first. "No I don't have to show" says Silke, and pushes his cards towards the muck. At this point the TD intervenes and says that Silke's cards do have to be shown as Trotman has asked to see them. The dealer flips over Silke's Ad 4s. Another hand has just gone all the way to river and showdown with Silke check calling a 300k bet into a 480k pot on a 6s 8d Aspades Kc Td board. Trotman shows Kd 6h for two pair, as Silke's cards hit the muck.

Full details and pics to follow, but it all went in on an Ace high flop with Martin Silke's Ac Kd and Luke Trotman's Ad 4s. No help for Trotman on the turn or River, and Martin Silke is the GUKPT London 2009 Champion!
