Title: Padraig talks to May in April. Post by: tikay on April 11, 2009, 01:59:38 PM Eddie Hearn tells me that he has a new Project lined up, & as Eddie & Matchroom don't do "fail", it's probz worth a listen. Listen? Yes, it's a RADIO Show. Radio! I thought Radio died donkeys years ago, but no, Radio is the new thing, apparently. It'll be called "The Poker Show" I think (hardly an original name, but does what it says on the tin), & will feature Jesse May & Padraig Parkinson taking 'phone calls & just chatting, ably assisted by the sharp-witted Matt Broughton. I gather they plan to engage with Poker Forums, and that includes blonde, who have a warm relationship with all things Eddie. So listenh out for more details, which Eddie has promised for next week. It'll be on the Radio, three nights a week, Sunday thro Tuesday, from 8pm to 11pm, and, uniquely, for the first time EVER, Eddie tells me, LIVE. A full press release will come out in the next 24 Hours but basically we are launching the UK's first live on-line Radio show starting on Sunday 26th April. "I Know It" is right..it is an extension of the cult TV show "The Poker Show" that was broadcast a few Years back. It's going to be a lot of fun and we want to hear from as many Blonde members as possible. We have some great guests lined up already. Post by: phatomch on April 16, 2009, 08:00:07 PM i done a radio show on poker once for bbc radio solent for the morning show, 2 1/2 bloody hours at 7am talking about poker growth and running a 4 seater sng with the production staff. I had to speak to the presenter and tell him how to play the other 3 players could'nt hear me.
