Hi, I play every week at the University pitches at weetwood in Leeds, about 4miles on a main bus route from leeds city centre and about 5mins from shrewdies. They have about 15 5a-side pitches, 2 3g pitches and a few 7 aside pitches. The bash happens to be when uni aint started yet so hopefully it wont be busy.

I will ask about costs (its normally 4 quid each for non-uni sports cards members) for booking the pitches etc on Wed and post details here. Anyone else go to a place in Leeds closer? Good thing about weetwood sports centre is its huge, on main bus routes and people can go wake up shrewdies if they dont get out of bed on time.

I hear that they haven't had any football played there for a couple of years...

Played here quite a bit, good astro turf indoor pitches. Don't think the prices are that bad either.

Outdoor Pitches £30 any day any time - plenty of regular spare slots.
Indoor Pitches £42/hr Peak (Weekdays 5pm - 9pm)
                         £30/hr Off-Peak (all other times)

Dunno about the women.  Are we taking a break from it this time around Ladies?  I won't push anyone to join, but if enough are actually enthusiastic about it, then we'll go ahead.

So, we have 3 and maybe 4 if Acidmouse Lass is interested.  5 when I tell Mr. Laxie of his misfortune.  We need at least another 3 (preferably more) so we can take breaks this time.  Some of us are heading for our 40's FFS!

I investigated with Acidmnouse the Weetwood 5 aside pitches but they are not available

Can a Leeds local please advise where I should book, reasonably close to get back to the Alea, for the 5 a side?
