Welcome to sunny Bolton for Day 1 of the £500 main event.

We start at 6pm, and how many runners there will be is anyones guess, I am still in my hotel room, but heading to the G casino Bolton at around 2.30ish .. so will have an idea of field size then.


This is the First in a series of three updates, Bolton this weekend, Aberdeen next weekend and the following weekend in Walsall.. ALL SPONSORED BY MINTED POKER, they have fully funded the expenses and have commited to all 3 summer series events.

Went into the Casino last night and saw Alex Martin, Ali Malu and quite a few North West poker faces ... I assume that all those circuit regs that are not in Vegas or Nottingham will be about this evening.

When I played IPO in Dublin, started with 10k... 1100 runners...  9 hours later, 200 runners remaining, still had 10k...  never went higher than 11k, never lower than 9k...
