Title: Reverse Sheep Quiz 23 - The Google Monkey returns Post by: matt674 on June 16, 2009, 11:05:46 PM As punishment for the 2nd worst case of blatant cheating since RSQ began (for the first see every Sharplea entry from RSQ I to RSQ XXI) i think everyone should boycott this quiz and let thetank do one instead
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules Here's the deal. There are 14 questions, PM your answers for them to me by Sunday 21st June 2009 at 7pm, each answer on a separate line please, in order of questions. Your score for each question is number of people who give the same correct answer. So you want to go for answers that you think will be less commonly given. Levelling commonly happens. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep, with the corresponding sheep score. I'm going to say that no research of any kind is allowed such as googling etc but those who can't help themselves are going to do it anyway :D If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + one half the number of TOTAL answers given, rounded up. You MUST pass on one question and score a 0 for that question. Any questions post in this thread (or PM), but don't post your answers obv. The reveal will be 7.30pm on Monday 22nd June Should a previous QM be victorious, he/she has the choice to either nominate a new QM (Colchester Kev) or do it themselves, Objections are allowed but will cost a one banana deposit payable at the next blonde bash, the objection will be listened to and if successful will have the deposit returned. Anyone giving an incorrect answer to question 14 will automatically incur a 2 banana penalty. For questions 4 and 11, sequels will be whaled --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. What's the relevance of "during a single turn?" All the squares that cannot be bought can be landed on in a single turn depending on where you started from. Should we assume you're on the GO square, so any square within 12 moves from GO? Not that it affects me like as I was QM because I won..!! LOL

Title: Re: Reverse Sheep Quiz 23 - The Google Monkey returns Post by: bobAlike on June 17, 2009, 11:20:48 PM I feel with all the alleged Googling that seems to be getting unpunished of late we should start a Sheep Court (like a Kangaroo court but with bleating).
This should be a private board with a handful of respectable quizzers, say 3 or 4 not including the QM, where a consensus can be made in the handling of suspected Googlers. The Sheep Courts decision should be final and would be able to hand out punishment without any involvement or agreement from the QM. This Sheep Court could also be used as a court of farce appeal for objections to answers which the QM has denied. A case can only be heard in the Sheep Court if all the Sheep judges agree. I'm sure this could work. This is only a basic thought with minor detail but if anyone has any ideas how this could benefit or not the RSQ's of our hearts then please chip in. Everyone knows which countries bananas come from. wtf, where DO bananas come from? FML!!!!!!! sigh - toying with the idea of the first ever insta-disqualificaton for blasphemy!! :D I've even been generous with you for this question as there was a tie for 10th in the table so i have accepted the top 11 answers (though if anyone got the 2nd of the tied 10th nations i would have insta-disqualified you for cheating :D) So what you're saying is that 'Fife' was wrong????? I'm sure it said that on the label :( :( They've sponsored me for years so must be right :)up Title: Re: Reverse Sheep Quiz 23 - The Google Monkey returns Post by: matt674 on June 21, 2009, 11:25:25 PM Apologies to Cf for not allowing his late entry but had already started tomorrow's reveal post and i don't think my monkey abacus could have coped with the change in scores ::)
