We have blondes Tim Blake, David Jones and Kaibobble to cheer on this afternoon, plus a host of well known UK Poker faces

Redsimon won the day one competition for £50 into his blonde poker cardroom account

Here is the day two comp

The person who gives me two names with the lowest aggregate finishing position, deadline 1.59pm, on this thread, wins £50 into their account

So the lowest score is 3, 1st and 2nd. Person with the lowest combined score wins.

Off to enjoy my DTD Sunday lunch now, get those selections in!

This update is sponsored by our good friends at DTD. I don't come cheap. Well actually I do, but ignore that for a moment.

To help continue these updates, which continue to be the busiest on the site and always popular because of both the affection for DTD and the number of blondes that play please support DTD

Please click on the banners on this board and support DTD!

Cheers

It's all gone off on the first hand here

Chris Ellinas raised, Paul Frampton pushed and Michelle Bennett re-pushed next to act

Back to Ellinas who without a great deal of though it looked like, called all in

So three all-ins

Bennett had AK

Frampton had moved with Q10d

Ellinas had called the lot off with KQ off.

The end board was rather cruel for Bennett.

Frampton is out, and Michelle is now very short

Here is Ellinas considering his options once Frampton has pushed

Billy N'Go is making rapid progress. Just took a 30,000 raise and re-raised pot off Chris Rose on a Nine high rainbow flop

Tim Blake is next to him with over 120,000

He says "I'm just a blocker for Billy, he keeps raising"

Billy pipes up "I'm getting very good hands"

Chinese Frankie who is railing Billy fails to surpress a slightly girlish giggle at this comment

"I told you, never limp with Ace-King, and now look what has happened"

and Ricky replies

"but I thought it would get raised round the back"

Monster pot

Aaron Fisher has Aces

Robert Clague Nines

Christopher Phillips Jacks

All-in pre.

Not sure of the betting pre-flop but I arrive at pace *** as the "oohs and aahs" descend on the table

the board comes

8-5-J-3-10

and Phillips knocks out both and is shot into the chip lead

*** as fast as I can, which doesn't equal at pace

Tom Underwood with 150,000? how can that be, he was down to the felt 20 minutes ago?

He pushed blind with 9-4 off. Gurdu Millan found Aces. On the big blind

9-4 off cracked Aces in "the worst bad beat I have ever had" according to Millan

Quite odd really, no one is taking charge of this final table and I've haven't got a lot to sink me teeth into

For the moist part the big stacks are content to sit back

Meanwhile just now Boci made it 80,000 in the cut off and Turver passed AQ off on the button!

Who wants to win this?

Keep ya pecker up, the updates are very much appreciated.

During this hand I was quite disappointed actually, as a fan of poker etiquette

Don't think I approve of other players (not all of them, just the odd comment) not in the hand clenching their fists and exclaiming "yes" when the 8 dropped and saying "No Ace" before the turn

I suppose its just competitive stuff in the heat of the moment but I don't suppose it made Nigel feel any better about the outdraw he had just suffered

For a couple of these players, the money clearly means an awful lot, nothing wrong with that, but that has often been reflected in their play and I would contend some behaviour.

Hi

Here is a report for the July £300 Deepstack at Dusk Till Dawn.

A fantastic turnout as 322 players came to play our £300 Deepstack .

Considering we are in the middle of summer , the weather was great , the WSOP Main Event has started and we moved the start time to 2pm from 7pm 322 runners shows just how popular our £80,000 guaranteed event has become. The atmosphere in the club was superb and we had 97 new members who had travelled from all over the country to be here.

Starting at 2pm allowed us to run 12 levels on day 1 resulting in 53 remaining when play finished at 12.15am. These players returned for complimentary Sunday lunch and with the restart at 2pm we started the final at 8pm.

The finalists included Mickey Wernick who was short stacked and finished 9th , this was the 4th time Mickey has made the final to go with his £500 win here last January ! Christopher Phillips was chip leader at the start and never reliquished it , finally at 12.17am he was heads up against Daniel Hodson with approx 2,600,000 to 600,000 and all the chips went in preflop A7 spades for Chris and K7 hearts for Daniel , no K and no deals so Daniel was runner up winning £16,559 while Christopher won £28,324.

The general feedback is the new 2pm start is much preferred by the players and we hope that if the demand is there in the coming months we will now have the flexibility to raise the current 333 cap !

Cheers
