Post by: Colchester Kev on August 08, 2009, 01:19:31 PM
Here we are in a town which just failed to make Alan Whickers top 20,000 places to visit before you die ...

full seat draw and chip counts will be here shortly ... Going to be a good one me thinks.

We start at 2pm (ish) and if you arent here on time Tighty and me are coming round your house tomorrow for Sunday dinner !!!

James has a very big win in him, it'd be grand to see Richard Gryko win one of these - he's survived a year or two - & Mo is due, too, after big Finals at DTD & the £2,5000 UNIBET jobbie, at The Vic.

Any chance of a chip update on Graham Rodgers please

He doubled up to 15k ... AK hitting against the 77 of Danny Toffel

jesus, he has loosened his game right up by playing AK when having 7BB's

LOL, Kev, 100pt bonus if you get a photo of Graham Rodgers playing a hand.

When time permits, can you tell us the Chip Count of HairyArmChompy, please.

Sigh, for the final time, there must be something wrong with Tighty's camera. Obv I've been veeting my forearms ever since I got back to my fenland bunker though

Don't do that - the horses probably find it quite comforting...

I haven't fallen asleep honest ... with half an hour to play we are not seeing any action.

Only a cold deck will help.

Everyone is well stacked, there are no real shorties.

Mo tends to raise so big that he was getting comitted to calling re raises, no one person got his chips, they were pretty evenly shared.

Tikay will love Chuck Thompson ... look at this record !!

Dates back to 1984!

http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=4987

What is he doing in this? based over here now? holiday?
I played with Chuck today, he's on holiday here. He's wearing a Bay 101 baseball cap, the casino in San Jose where the WPT Shoting Stars tourney is every year. I asked if he plays there as I had a nice run in the WPT there a couple of years back and he said he runs the tournament and is the announcer so he will have been announcing when I made the final. He asked if I got any bounties and I told him I got Kenna James and Dan Harrington..."Ah Dan is one of my closest buddies, I came 6th the year he won the Woirld Series and we stayed close ever since!" Lol we need random main event final tablers sneaking in our grand comps! Love some of the variants in his hendon mob, anyone for some Ace to Five draw? Chuck ftw

Either tell her it's still part of your birhday present or.... give her some rohipnol - this is a time when drugs in poker is ok imo.

Looking forward to today .... Players have been told to get here for 2pm, but after photos and other media stuff, I doubt we will be starting much before 3pm.

Will start a new thread for the final ... but in the meantime lets hope we will be saying

"Thats MORE THAN lucky" plenty of times today.
