10k eff 25/50
Stuart Rutter limps UTG, Alex Millar (uni friend plays 25/50+) makes it 200 (he did this last hand when Rutter limped as well), UTG+2 is local fish with skull rings and a skull card protector calls, I call UTG+3 w 22, folds to UTG who calls.

Js4x2x, check, bet 550, raise 1750, I flat, fold fold.
Ts.  Check, I bet 2300, he calls.
Ks.  Bet 4750, call.  AJss wins.

On flop felt flatting was better than 3 bet since lots of jacks in range that fold to 3 bet and also is bluffing occasionally since UTG+1 been so active.  Also somewhat concerned by 4.  When he checks turn am always ahead since he would bet with set so now just go to value town with w/e jack he has.  River could probs make decent case for folding idk just felt so many KJ JT combos compared to 44 or flush

Yeah, that's the impression I got.

Don't think they're sticking around at *** either. They all said on their exit interviews that they're heading down to London.

According to Hellmuth's interview he's off to London for a high stakes Full Tilt cash game.

Great stuff as usual Kev. More norkage though.

When you think what the sponsors must have shelled out to get them here .... you might be excused for hoping that they would at least stick around for a while at the venue.

I kind of agree with you Kev, but to people from overseas especially Yanks. London = England and the rest of it is some bizarre backwater. Just getting them to come to Nottingham was a triumph of sorts.

I don't think so - they've come over, posed for photos with lookalikes last night, played in the tournament & done their TV interviews. Job done.

I don't think Doyle should have to hang about pumping notes into Larry the Lobster to pass the time once he's been knocked out. That's the risk you take with this - the stars you bring in might get knocked out early.

Neil Channing just said he's off to the Vic. Then changed his mind saying he'll go home and play online.

His reason? He wants to play some more poker.

He was on my left for the first 3 hours and he didn't stop talking once even mid hands. Yet it was kinda relaxing the way everything finished with a nice lilt. (not the drink, the sound! )

Just done a tour of the room ...

Praz down to about 6k and looking for a spot.

Greekfish is on the feature table and making the most of it :D

Neil "Drop the dead donkey" "between the lines" Pearson is out

We are down to 80 players and 10 tables... makes it a bit easier to walk around and watch the play now.

7 mins left of this level, then a short break to colour up and then we will be on level 9, which will be the last level of the day ... I hope to catch the inevitable carnage of he short stack shoves.

On a side note, I am really surprised that we are down to 79 players already, If we lose the expected dozen players in the last level, we will be coming back tomorrow with around 67 players to play down to a final table....

Devilfish is having a tough time, he raised on the sb and Jesper Höög in the bb pushed a tower of 1k green chips over the line ... fish passed

Then he raised on the button and the very same player did the very same thing again .... Fish shook his head , smiled and passed again.

Last level sickener for Stu Rutter... holding KK he manages to get them all in against the 99 of Stuart Barclay ... Barclay banks a 9 on the turn and rutter loses a 50k pot and is left with only 4k
