I will be playing a super sat, but if I gain a seat the staking if successful still applies

My record at the casino is good. I have played two previous Anniversary Shields in 2006 and 2007, the only comps I have played there, and final tabled both. It is in my experience a soft-ish field, and the stack-structure should allow me to have an edge

At the other Luton, in £50-£100 comps which is a buy-in size I limit myself to out of my own resources, I am hitting one in three final table finishes over 47 comps so far this year

I am looking to sell 60% of the action (£120) in a minimum of 6x £20 blocks

Returns would be on a 50-50% basis after stake is returned

Stars transfer (Prewie) or bank or cash in person for locals would be good

I peaked at 30,000 at 300-600 and was doing fine

I then had the unfortunate concurrence of losing a couple of pots and finding 11 of us still in, with me on the 5 handed table, as we hit 600-1200. The TD made the decision to play one more level and I found myself a shorter stack, short handed on a big stack table which I found unusual and awkward to play

Anyway I return with 20,000 and blinds 600-1200/100. Re-draw and revert to 9 handed play

A double up and we're in business

First two hands today, AK on the button and AA in the cut off..both with a limper in front, and I don't get on. Sometimes image doesn't work in your favour!

I folded junk for three rounds, with only one unopened pot to shove into, which got through

Down to 13,000 with blinds 800-1600/100 i shove blind in the cut off, the next unopened pot, and John Vaccarrella calls in the sb with QQ

I look at 5-2 off. Ugh. 2 on the flop, 2 on the river and I am up to 26,000+.

Next orbit, just as the blinds are going 1,000-2,000/200 I am back at 23,500 again

Find JJ UTG+1 and make a standard raise to 4,500

The same player, John Vaccarrella shoves 40,000 in mid position

This looks a lot like AK to me, certainly far more so than QQ+. He is also tilty as he's been chuntering about me and 5-2 since our "previous"

I can fold and have 9x bb left with blinds about to come through. Anyway I've put him on AK and win a race and I am in decent shape. Not sure I should fold really.

Call, he flips QQ.

No worries.  Any hand with a 2 is the nutz and you did great to duck and dive as long as you did. 

Raise/folding with a J and another J here would be a big mistake. Just unlucky you ran into a guy with history holding QQ

Yes George. Easy to be results orientated this close to the exit, but I'm not anywhere deep enough to raise/fold

Pretty much..there is a small argument for folding..Johnny vac does not put his money in like that light and AK is min here..I know you only have 12BB left..but its a full 10 man table and u r a super grinder....because of the player i think the range is very narrow..QQ,KK,AA,AK...he peels with 10 10....A Q etc

Its the same old story though, ur just unlucky running top 4 hand into top 3...

but raise folding here is never really + EV..
