Currently a flip between this and Bristol.

Probably this because it's 5 minutes down the road.

The lists don't usually get updated until Thurs/Fri ... the same as the deepstack sat qualifiers.

Which means I'm not sure what day I'm playing - and I was going to play both. I'll give them a ring - but I'm in!

I'm not sure they had any satellites for this, I could be wrong.

As a side question, my tarty bit is going away with my car this weekend and I am playing on Saturday. I am weighing up the options of:

Hiring a car for one day
Getting a train and stopping in a hotel if I get deep (last train about 9 I believe)

And then the other thing I was pondering, do you reckon I could get a taxi to take me from DTD to Sheffield in the wee hours? Its only about 40 minutes, how much do you reckon that would cost?

Around £50/£60 off the top of my head.

You could call 0115 9607607 which is DG Taxis for an accurate quote.

OR

B) put my money towards the DTD £300 and try and get staking?

play Saturday off your own dime. Win it all, and then play £300 off your own dime. Then win that.

LOL I remember seeing Mitch order a Caesar salad there a while back trying to healthy, then went on to ask for loads of extra dressing, there must have been 1000 calories in that extra dressing alone when it came.

P.S. Not that i can afford to call you fat of course :(

No it was more a consideration of whether or not things will have run out on the menu at DTD. I may have to go to Bristol just to get food.

...are you living in a lonely word now?

I am a small town girl

 ;tightend; ;tightend; ;tightend;

If you like the song, me and Stu can sing it to you next time we're both at DTD.  We've had enough practice...

Pls to be making this happens.

I have just had it on full volume in my lounge on my own and was singing along.

I cannot sing obv, not even slightly.

lol i might get to meet our hero

Indeed, which day would you be playing ?

If I come up I will be playing both days.

Can't decide between, DTD/Bristol and generally doing sweet FA at home.

Bristol ftw Cos! I might not be able to do anything this weekend, but if I do, then definitely Bristol.

meh - just annoying having to deposit when you've already got enough in there for the game you want to play - it's not as if you get a choice about having it transferred out of poker when you log off.

What options are available for registering for either one of these days ?

I live a good 4 hrs away and as its capped to 270 i don't want a wasted journey.

Any good suggestions of somewhere to stay over that is local to DTD ? and not too expensive ?

Thanks

WIN A COPY OF Doyle Brunson's BOOK !!

To win a copy, all you have to do is pick the combined total of players from both Sat & Sun 20/Twenty comps.

TIE BREAKER ... What time will the final start on Sunday (the actual time of "SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL")

Make sure you answer the tie breaker question ... and remember, these events are CAPPED at 270 !!

I am travelling up today, so will see some of you tonight.

dont think there is any above the 270 as the reason for the cap is to get it finished in 1 day

Because its deepish structure, I doubt more than 20 or so will get in in the first 2 levels so won't be a problem. Simon will have thought it through.
