is it a good strategy to fold for half a blind when dealt complete garbage like 3h Js or 2s 9d when there are 3 or 4 limpers.I am getting 9 to 1 or 11 to 1 odds to call , do these generous odds justify calling or am i better off saving my half blind? If you don't hit, it's harder to take it down with a bet, as you can in position. When you hit it's harder to get value for your hand OOP. Call or raise (table dependant) with anything vaguely connected that can flop well. 9c Jc, 5h 6h etc. are always nice. There's much more value if the cards are both green. Blue is a close second. I don't think any studies have been done as to which wins out of black or red cards so you'll have to make up your own mind. Four colour deck mate. Everybody loves greens because they always hit. Blues do well too but not as well as greens. It's just a little joke. Don't let anyone know that I don't believe in the power of the greens though!!
