Kinda sick of lap dancers tbh after the last go round.  No sense of humour at all by them.  That said, always got on with the Notts girls well enough, so open for anything.  Feck it...you tell me where to go and I'll be there.

Then back to DTD at about 2am. Hotel at 6am. Feck the football, sure am getting up for that this year.

Good luck finding a lap dancing club in Nottingham. They just don't exist. The best one was Senoritas and that was just no better than meh.

Best pub / club in Notts at the moment is The House of Coco Tang. Haribo cocktails ftw!!!!

It's got loads of stairs though and I don't about access for our perverted friend.

There are buses to Derby and back (at around 3am), or a taxi, or a train (my mate's own a pub opposite Derby train station) so if you're desperate you can always head to the strip clubs there.

I wasnt in attendance last time but I would suggest you save Chambers for later on in the evening!

Here's a few places that I would normally frequent;

BZR - better than a strip club but you may feel like a pervert, triples for singles, good start point
Approach - complete opposite, 40's 50's crowd, but live music is normally pretty good
Cape - okay bar heading in towards the lace market
Coco Tang - cocktail frickin tastic and probs the only place to end the night

That would be my little route but I believe it lacks the fun & cheese most of you are after.

Rock City on a Friday night isnt grab a granny at all as far as i remember.

You get the full selection 18-50 hot - minging. Very diverse crowd, cheesy music, very busy, but shit drinks and you will stick to the floor.

Fire exit at the back of the main hall goes straight on to the street no steps. You always see the warmup band exiting through it when they have finished.

I would still ring to check, but Im pretty sure im correct and have seen it used for wheelchair access at gigs.

Suppose club nights may be different.

This made me LOL. My wife was there with a group of "mature students" a couple of Fridays ago. In many parts of Nottingham, she could easily be a granny by now :D.

I think they have street level access to the bottom floor rooms too through the entrance to "the rig" a little up the street from the main entrance.

I know it's been mooted by Iron before, but this year should be the year we have a scavenger hunt imo.  Having seen the traffic cone in Laxie's back yard I want her in my team ldo.

Checked this place out last night. It's still awful so I'd seriously forget about it unless you're in to crap strip clubs.

Ironside access fine as long as he doesn't need a piss. 2 or 3 steps up in to the club. Once in there no problem. Lift up to private rooms. Lift may go to toilets but I'm not sure.

Closest decent club is Derby but access would be tough there. Lots of stairs to negotiate but once in it's all on the level. Girls are much better though.

Update on the strip club.

Can probably get a few in for free if you're interested. Turns out I know the guy who's running it but only just found out.

Still doesn't make it any good but if it's free entry it might be a bit more bearable.

it was empty apart from about 5 locals whenever we got there last time, doesn't really matter as it's a good sized bar for us to start drinking in, much better than the tiny holiday inn job

All meet in Holiday Inn from 4pm onwards.
Chambers at 7pm til they kick us out
Titty bar afterwards or DTD I guess...

According to their Facebook page, it doesn't matter who you are - first come first served.  They don't do guest lists for groups and not looking likely that Ironside could get in and around the place.

It doesnt matter who you are, but they have a very well run door policy relating to dress, size of group, mix of people in the group etc to ensure that the atmosphere is right inside.
