Title: Suicide Watch for Someone
Post by: Blatch on June 11, 2010, 10:18:18 PM
Tonights T20 match between Hampshire and Somerset was on a bowler friendly pitch.

Chasing 104, Hampshire were 93 for 5, then 18 balls later were 97 all out.

Sadly for someone they managed to get £185k to back Hampshire @ 1.01 to win £1,850.

Ouch

Then they were clueless about cricket.

It was a nightmare of a pitch.Almost certainly going to be reported.

Besides that Hants were always needing 5 ish runs an over, and given that pitch, and seeing how difficult Somerset found batting, .....Hants were never better than 1/2 at any stage, even with 4/5 wickets in hand with 2/3 overs to go.

They needed 11 runs from 33 balls with 5 wickets left.  Trust me that is around a 1.01 on virtually any wicket.

Wow, I'd certainly enjoy being offered that price in that situation.

Totally agree with blatch, that is a 1.01 chance all day.

Razzaq was out at 16.3 overs....so I make that 11 off 22 balls.

Watching batsman get hit on the body and head, as balls flew up from all parts of the pitch, as well as the ball deviating left and right, it was never going be a straight forward run chase of 104 from 20 overs. The low scores of both sides( and look at the batting quality of Somerset) tells you this was not a normal 20/20.
Granted they still should have got over the line, but never a 1.01 shot at any stage.

This and several posts of his on the original thread make it clear he was having several jokes between himself and himself, jokingly posting about scamming, grimming and even sleeping in ffs.

He must have been pissing himself laughing while doing so,it certainly doesn't seem like he was being weighed down by it.

I think the geezer needs medical help.

He obviously has zero conscience or empathy for others.
