Thursday sees the start of the USPGA - amazing to see Tiger Woods at 14/1 to win a major!!!

For me Adam Scott is amazing value at 80's, is in decent form and played well at Whistling Straits last time the PGA was there.
Am also on Ernie Els at 32 and Bo Van Pelt at 100

That Whistling Straits looks like some course, I'm interested in seeing it up close after blitzing it on Tiger Woods 11 last night.

I don't think i can face it, however, £1k on tiger would get me out....

imo, you are giving money away backing tiger this week. this is not the course for him, especially as he's playing crap.

Jeff Overton is massive value @ 66/1. He has had 4 top tens in his last 4 outings including at St Andrews, he hits the ball long and straight which is what you need on any USPGA Championship course(normally the toughest of the 4 majors). He should have won 2 weeks ago had it not been for Stuart Applebys amazing 59 final round and showed last week that coming so close and not winning had not affected him as we up the leaderboard and competing for all 4 rounds. I will post who else i fancy later on in the week as Overton is the only 1 who stands out to me right now.

I've been thinking the same.

I would like to back Adam Scott but he just doesn't have the short game for these courses. The bigger hitters have no advantage on this course, being able to move it both ways and being deadly with the mid irons/fairway woods looks key (harrington!!!).

Okay, just been matched @ 420 on the guy that I awarded a "squiggle" to earlier in the season due to his short putting being truly dire, the man I call the great Gonzo.

After having a putting lesson with Olazabal, Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano's holing-out in Ireland was nothing short of a revelation which resulted in a 3rd place finish, and since he is imo a world-class ball-striker his price looks huge and I really expect a good showing from him this week.

How much does a course affect odds?

I mean, are the top 10 in the betting indicative of the top 10 players in the world now based on form/class?

The penalty or premium on accuracy off the tee makes a big difference as if the fairways are wide and the rough is inconsequential then the longer hitters will naturally have a big advantage.

Current form is a huge factor in the odds; guys who were 100/1 who played well last week are now 50/1.

sigh, also had small bits on Castano and Overton now.

And of course, Rickieeeeeeeeeee, just cos hes com really.

I've really managed to cash in tradewise on the fact that the start of the back nine is full of birdie opportunities.

After a couple of my team went to -3/-4 on that stretch I laid Lowry @ 60, and Gonzooo @ 55 which covered all but £30 of my total investment but leaves me with several big if somewhat unlikely winners:

Looking at the prices after Dustin finished at the 18th, saw he was at 5.
