Gl Chompy, Johnny Vac, Barret Homes Joshi, Captain Kirk.

For an complete rank outsider - look out for Tony Poole           .......             his blissfull ignorance of even the bare basics of the game will undoubtedly lead to him cashing, if not getting to the Final Table.

I think you are uploading the photos in much to high a resolution, which may cause you some slow internet problems.

Yes, you're uploading the images that are enormous!

You need to reduce the size (to about 600px wide maximum) before you upload them.

You need to reduce the size (to about 600px wide maximum) before you upload them.

For example, the photo of Neil Channing you've uploaded is over 3.5MB in size and is 2,592px × 3,888px in size, and it's only displayed at 400px × 600px by the forum software, but anyone viewing the thread has to download the full-size image to view it at the smaller size.

Yeah biggest angleshooting, non-stop toolbag i've ever played against.

Agreed. He thought he was king of the world in his Gutshot days. Even used to hand out "calling cards" about why his BB should never be raised.  TBH i thought he'd packed the game in.

Use a website, like http://www.picresize.com/ before you upload them to the website you're sticking them on.  Resize them to 400px wide (or similar), and then upload them.

Thats the first time ive ever seen Chompy with the right hump

EPIC tale coming. Even by Ade's standards this is disgusting. I was hot after it happened - he got a few choice words as I left the table - but chuckling away by the time I got home. Meh. Here goes.

Have known Ade since the early Gutshot days, so a good ten years. Not seen him for a few years but was greeted like an old mate when he moved table, handshake. blah blah. He's never tilted me and I've always got on fine with him. I know what he's like - had plenty of final tables together - he's basically a rock who can get hot if things go against him.

Anyway, had dropped from 60k to 45k a few minutes into the 800-1600 (200) level. Had hardly played a hand. This wouldn't have surprised the great Ade. He'd remember me as being a bit of a rock. Seriously.

Keith Johnson, who'd been in just about every pot and had a bit of 'light-hearted' banter with Ade, raised utg to 3900. I picked up KK in the cutoff so re-plopped to 10200.

Ade, in the small blind, then points at Keith Johnson and, with real conviction, said something along the lines of 'I've had enough of you, I'm going to raise you 2000."

The dealer obv points out to him that I've re-raised to 10200. Ade looks genuinely surprised. Oscar-worthy performance. Three or four players all insta-call for a ruling.

The ruling of course is that he has to raise me by the minimum amount. Keith Johnson folds and I shove.

Ade says "I've got them. Call." Then slowly turns over his aces. He had me covered by around 5000 or so and that was it after a 54355 board.

LOLZ. I had a fair idea he was at it and that his range here is probz only QQ, KK or AA. But I was in for 30% of my stack, planning on jamming any non-ace flop v aggro boy.

Five minutes later he was laughing away at the table as per, as if nothing had happened. Not long after that he came over and tried to apologise.

Rockstar will confirm he admitted to cheating. So be it. If that's the only way you can win tournaments, then whatever. Apparently he felt bad because he's always had respect for me. Go bollox Ade. You were trying to get me fist-pumping it in with nines, tens, ace queen or whatever, which you admitted. The hand plays out the same whatever.

You deserve having your name being dragged through the mud, hence this post.

[  ] Hope you cash. Cheat.

Luke Fields raises on the button, the small blind (Daren Annis) then shoves for 90,300; Poke ponders and calls with  7h 7s, Darren turns over  Aspades Qc.

A  Kc Jd Qs flop gives Darren the lead and 2 blanks on the turn ad river means he scoops the lot.

Luke is now down to 12k.

only time I've ever seen ade speechless was after he'd pulled a pretty horrendous stunt on a new (to the gutshot) player.

player stormed off and a few of us spent the next couple of minutes telling ade what an arse he was. then the player came back and shouted at him 'I'd hit you if you weren't black' before storming out again

ade just sat there stunned with no idea how to respond; please go back to the casino and do the same thing chomps. would be good if rockstar could film it

You'll like this Chomps......

I missed the start of the action but it's Ade's BB and it gets rised.
The table gets all excited when there's a player all in against him (I think Ade reshoved; not 100%)

Anyway he won the hand by hitting the River, and then STOOD UP and said loudly something along the lines of "you see everybody my big blind is not for sale. Mess with it blah blah."
Then
"I am ade that's my name. And yes I love myself."
He then kissed both of his arms and sat down

Farkin bizarre scene

Tony likes a good drink,a very good drink infact

Today he decided to be sensible and have red bull instead of the usual 10 pints of Fosters

The problem is he has had 25 cans of red bull, and has the table manner of a crack head needing a rather large fix

Ive ordered him 2 pints of Fosters and a JD and coke for medicinal purposes,or we may lose the bubble player to a heart attack

All in pre-flop with  Ac 9c and called by the big stacks  Aspades Qd is not a very good spot to be in.

However when you flop A 9 3you are looking in much better shape.

And then there were 10

James Tomlin raises to 25000, Ricky Macintosh then makes it 50k from the bb.

James shoves 160,000 and Ricky contemplates and then says 'I have too much in there' and calls for over 1/3 of his chips.

James shows  Jh Jd and Ricky turns over  9h 5h

You know whats coming....

Flop had 2 hearts and the turn completed Ricky's flush.

Meh, no, I'm happy with cheating.

1. To deceive by trickery; swindle: 2. To deprive by trickery; defraud: 3. To mislead; fool: illusions that cheat the eye.

Thats the whole poker community dammed then

+1
Fair point well made lol

Tony likes a good drink,a very good drink infact

Today he decided to be sensible and have red bull instead of the usual 10 pints of Fosters

The problem is he has had 25 cans of red bull, and has the table manner of a crack head needing a rather large fix

Ive ordered him 2 pints of Fosters and a JD and coke for medicinal purposes,or we may lose the bubble player to a heart attack

LOL wp
cracking job rockstar, great updates youve laid out today :D

well done adrian and co, great update, tx for the support neil, nice premonition george :o)

Dusted off half my stack with a questionable call of a reraise with A9 and hitting the 9 hi flop, but still really fancy it tomoro....channing played his big stack really well today tho and is the fave imo.

If that question is directed at me - I was referring to 'I have too much in there'

Well there you go then,an ugly exit for James Tomlin who jumped up and walked over a poker table behind him to get the hell out of there

The table was not in use you will be relieved to know

Chip counts to follow when we have them

How often do you see a game of poker played on a chair - which is what I am told he jumped over lol

ohmy: i think crossing of wires has taken place, we thought you were calling dan a donk for saying "lol live poker" and not calling the guy a donk for saying "too much in" which im sure you were. Thing is his "too much in" is correct to say in this spot, its, "lol" live poker because he got himself in that situation to start with

Title: Re: GUKPT Luton Day 2

Actually he can still fold. Theres 214k in the pot and its 110k to call. Against a fairly loose-ish range (for a standard live player) of 99+,AJs+,KQs,AJo+ he's only 29.5%

Against a nitty range of JJ+,AQs+,AKo he's 26%

I noticed Jeff just posted, so in case any other finalists are reading, I'd like to stress my stack was only used when I had an enormous hand and I was generally just playing my cards. I just ran good and had a lot of good hands.

Planning for more of the same.
