Any reason they're not at DTD again?

probably because all the big comps this month are in London - EPT, WSOPE, WPT etc etc so they are using London as a base.

Makes sense :) Seems a shame for DTD. It's been the biggest comp they've hosted thus far hasn't it?

How awful for you. I mean it's not like you've won anything big enough recently that you could build a bed out of wads of cash to comfort you.

I can't seem to make it play in the forum but looked at the HTML source for the video location. If you download http://tx.sharp-stream.com/video.php?m=soproductions (http://tx.sharp-stream.com/video.php?m=soproductions) and open the destination file in media player you should get the stream.

Paul.

Note: It's quite annoying though. Keeps cutting in and out!

Yep I agree. Seems very strange that for a 3.5k event that they don't update their web site with the info !!

I'm through with a small stack of 14300

Would dearly love to know the other chip counts

Considering they did not lay on any dinner for the £250 reg would have at least expected them to have the commonsense to put up chip counts somewhere

Not too impressed by the whole set up to be honest

Did you play it this year? For a big poker tournament london is clearly better than nottingham. Much easier to get to and hotels are better. Also I thought the tournament was run well yesterday. Didn't have a bad dealer all day. Only issue is there is no free dinner, but the drinks are free and I don't think this was the case at DTD. Also the welcome party was better this year.

And no. I didnt play. I'm basing my opinion on:

The lack of coverage
The review of palm beach as a whole
The way the tourney and coverage last year at DTD

Obv makes sense to move it to London given the schedule and u guys as players will have a better indication on how it's being run but for us as observers the lack of info re the tourney is nothing short of shocking

From a personal point of view i am always going to want to play a tournament at the palm beach over DTD. In this case i busted early and went for a wander around town, as opposed to wandering around a Nottingham industrial estate, i then came back to the casino for the dinner break and walked across the road to nobu instead of across the park to nandos. Not to mention its a 90 minute drive.

Mitchell and Channing are not

# Neil Channing’s pre flop push with pocket 6s received a call by Stephen Chimelski’s pocket 7s -sending Neil packing and out of The EPO 2010
