Title: Advice for George 2 loose Bedi
Post by: flushthemout on September 22, 2010, 12:54:45 PM
If you have a problem with me shoving a mid pocket pair on the button whilst ur on the bb with ak, dont advertise it on Face book, and whilst i had kk when you raised with air utg, does it matter how many chips i pushed with, really dont want u calling with ace rag, yes i do go on about my bad beats, but as u know i can fold aces on a rainbow flop all day long, espically when 2 guys both shove 20k of chips into the pot, easy fold, and yes i dit say i destroyed your stack, that gives me as much pleasure as winning the comp as i classed you as good player, (no shake of the hand though or no acknowledgement when i took u out, dissapointing) One thing with me George, i will congratulate on a nice hand(jj v aq last night, guy hit queen on river and destroyed my stack, Please dont comment on how i play, from 2nd Jan 2010 to March 25th 2010, 32 tourneys cashed in 27 generating £7,625.00, i go to our local casino for the company more than the value, i drive 300 miles a day and i find it relaxing, yes i will go to Dtd on occasions for the deepstack(twice and cashed once) but dont broadcast bad play at the casino its what every poker player likes as long as the bad play does not get lucky. please get me a poker dictionary for xmas, need to learn all this lingo, tez, bonk, binkage.

Oh by the way, if u fancy a heads up game let me know £10k sit down just me and u, pick the casino, see who is a tez then.

lol, he has you there George. My favourite bit is how there is no need to separate different parts of the post with paragraphs. I like sausage rolls. I think George should play him heads up. I am going to the shops to buy some bread. Are we not still waiting for Cos to also play Andrew Feldman? What did everyone think if the inbetweeners the other night? I saw George's facebook update and wondered if it could turn into a bit of a grudge match kind of thing. Lisbon is the capital of Portugal.

Also, Bedi, the whinges have started again and they are redic tilting.

However, flushthemount, pretty sure you won't win a £10k hu if you want your opponent to fold Arag when you have Kings.

Meh I've just looked out George's facebook post to see what all the hoohah is about.  nothing criticising the guy's play at all, just a bit of annoyance over an unnecessary comment after George lost a race to bubble.  thought it worth clearing that up for anyone that hasn't seen it, as OP implies something quite different.

FYI - The way the hand played out was the following: Mike raises 10k (effective stack 30k) folded to him on the button, blinds 1k/2k/200, George ships it, and Mike has to now call. Slightly different to shoving the button and probably what lead to the comment 'tez player', as that is an awful way to play 8's on the button.
I think the animosity comes from the comment " I demolished George", when effectively you won a race and overplayed KK to a raise several hands earlier. In that situation, anybody who knows anything about poker ALWAYS should want a call from a raggy ace, although, George is good enough not to raise in EP with a raggy ace, therefore the shove just eliminates hands that you have crushed, against an agro player, the equity lost with that play is enormous.
Just my humble opinion.

I wouldnt boast about cashing in 85% of tournies played. pretty much means you go to the tourney to mincash and give yourself no real chance of winning the comp. Probably play like 6 hours per comp and have an roi of like 0.8%.

Also, FWIW i dont think get 15bb's in button vs BB with 88 vs AK is bad play at all, sounds possibly the most standard thing iv ever heard in my life.

U didnt shove tho did u? And I ain't here to teach you about why your line with the hand is pretty bad. The hand is irrelevant. Your comment afterward is what annoyed me. Nice to add in the "supposed" I did hear about what u said when  I finalled the deepstack- u hoped I lost. I would wish the same on you but in reality your not going to be able to Jamie Gold you way thru a field of 300 runners

Lol, shoving 15 big blinds with an M of 6 sure is awful.

On the other hand, opening 5x sure is a good play.

Lol, shoving 15 big blinds with an M of 6 sure is awful.

On the other hand, opening 5x sure is a good play.

Obv play is to eithe jam button or 2.55x to get it in. He 5x's it tho. When I referred to Mike as bad it wasn't solely based on this hand. His whole game is flawed but perhaps I shouldnt have posted in on fb and I most probably shouldn't be talking about it now but then I've always wanted my own starring role in Blondenders!

i had a feeling you would post something on here mike. I will respond to this when i get home from work. It wasnt so much the play that bothered me which was pretty shit by the way but more the comment that u made. Everyone knows ur the jamie gold of gala leics however without the ability to even attempt a bluff

i very rarely bluff u know that George, and i did demolish ur stack, which i was proud of as like i said u are supposed to be a great player, and 88 v ak when i am on the button is an automatic shove in my world, and u call with Ace high.

but in reality your not going to be able to Jamie Gold you way thru a field of 300 runners

huh - this makes no sense - he did it thru 7,000+ runners

When I say Jamie Gold I'm referring to being a card rack

George, nothing against u at all, even commented on Monday how well Shelly has done recently at dtd, u know what i dont even remeber how i played my 88 it is irrelevant to me as i never have a concern on most hands, its enjoyment for me, Just did not like ur comments on fb, rather u say to me how i should have played the hand different to get maxium chips, but i thought i did that anyway, (learnt that from Blatch) And never once have u wished me gl in the deepstack, check all my posts when u have played awop and on blonde.

Oh by the way, if u fancy a heads up game let me know £10k sit down just me and u, pick the casino, see who is a tez then.

Do you feel that £20 rebuys at gala Leicester are what you should be playing if you're rolled for HU £10k?

wrong tourney Cos, 10.00 with 2 rebuys, its not the money its the enjoyment for me.

you have just asked the man to play you heads up for 10 bags!!!  do you even have 10 bags??

wow what an absolute trainwreck incred reading. My highlights so far....

Quote
really dont want u calling with ace rag, yes i do go on about my bad beats, but as u know i can fold aces on a rainbow flop all day long

lol

Quote
88 v ak when i am on the button is an automatic shove in my world, and u call with Ace high

3x lol

Quote
(learnt that from Blatch)

5x lol

Quote
only history with me and u George is when i shipped on u and u called with 22, i won that one as well

meeeeeeowww

Quote
George, nothing against u at all

if you really have nothing against him, then starting a thread berating his behaviour and titling, "Advice for George 2 loose Bedi" seems like a waste of time imo

i will end this now as i have explained my thought, wether i shove, limp or raise to much i feel i am able to do what i wish within the laws of the game, if i am ahead which i was on both occasions, or wehther i am behind so be it, thats poker and u put ur chips in and take a chance.

Really nothing against George personally, and i wish i was a card rack like Jamie Gold, but 12mill is a nice result for a card rack.

What is Bonk ?

Sigh, not another guy on here who doesnt know! Get in the corner with Cos and Girdy

Forgot you are Mike the Situation

This comment passed me by.

So, I come home from the pub tonight, switch on the TV and start watching Dancing with the Stars*

Michael Bolton does his Viennese Waltz and then I hear 'Please welcome to the stage Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino'.

Within 4 microseconds he's flashing his abs.

After the clown dances, Len Goodman totally owns him by saying 'You've got the guns but you've not got the ammunition'.

* GFY
