Know what ya mean, but, all the mail order companies got it to people yesterday and played ok, but certainly understand what you mean.

I've just installed, heard lots of reports that it's hella laggy and that it's not optimised to get the most out of your system. what a bunch of mugs toting the games release then giving out something non excellent. what tits. they had the same problem with the previous games initially how do they not learn grrrr

Console fps games (with the exception of goldeneye/pd back in the day) are completely inplayable to me. Mouse/keyboard is sooooooooo much better than a controller.

So I looked down from my chair, mashed the triggers and got up, walked around the room and found a computer and on it was a hidden game mode. Sweet!

It doesnt really lag for me, if i get in a game where the host in from like them moon or something then it does a bit, but usually its fine :)

got onto the computer couldn't be arsed to fiddle too much. what's the special game mode like/about? is it worth it? went to have a go on single player but the cut scene was so long and you couldn't skip it I tilt quit rotflmfao

Its alright, nothing ground breaking. Just mw2 but with a few extra bits and bobs. On mw2 i liked the way you had to earn your attachments because it forced you to use set ups that aren't optimal, mp5k with acog site etc made it interestingly difficult.

I do like the wager match with the gun cycling game.

MP5K with ACOG tilted me for the 3 or so games it took to finish it. Getting emags on the Vector, now that was a challenge.

I don't mind being able to just pick your attachments, although the fact that most guns are practically identical is a bit annoying.

fwiw, this is not a new idea, just a ripoff from a mod version of Day of Defeat. Treyarch are some of the most unimaginative developers involved in top-rated games in the world atm.

Claymores annoy me less in this game because hacker pro is made of win. Dive to prone is fine as it actually delays those pesky dropshotters.

Now someone on your team getting stuck with an explosive crossbow bolt and running like a headless chicken from miles away to stand next to you - that's annoying!

It's interesting when you play with someone who you're not sure about hacking wise and can then watch them back through on Theatre.

I've not seen any hacks on xbox so far - touch wood etc.

I'm shocked at this, the hacks for xbox and PS£ were live for launch and were usb plugins, hence i took my black ops back to the shop, it was a regression rather than an improvement on MW2.

You can now get wallhack & aimbot bundled, now that comes with a recoil modifier, which gives no recoil on all guns, It colour schemes the opposition nearest are red, farther away are green, mid distance are yellow through orange, you can auto see all explosive devices, and you can have 5 perks.

All the hype and bull shit treyarch came up with " our game is gonna be hackproof" was utter peesh. They have even killed sniping in Black ops too with the map layouts, the gillie suits are piss poor and the kill streaks are a joke.

i'm just glad i got my money back.

I thought i'd come across someone with wallhack/no recoil/only headshot ability and when I watched back through on Theatre it was so ridiculously obvious I was just like meh.


If I didn't play poker and so need something to de tilt and shoot people with I would snap get my money back on this POS.

Servers with no killstreaks like choppers that are ridic to take down but get insta every kill under the sun, get rid of the ability to be a crack shot whilst diving to the floor etc etc.....

They know exactly what they're in control of. They need to get a game out. Get a crap developer (with a proven track record for making bad cod games!!) to make a new one and watch the people flock to buy it and break sales records.

When you say they've ruined sniping and kill streaks are rubbish I probably think the opposite because I'm not a camper :P

No system could ever be hack proof, so the claim is laughable to start with.

Kill streaks are rubbish in that if someone gets a chopper gunner they wipe out your team over and over till the games over it or it dissapears. They seem waayy too powerful.

Also I can upload to my file share the game where the guy was cheating if you want to see just how obvious it is. The guy walks around never aiming at the point on the map where he's next likely to see a person, just wiping across walls till suddenly someone pops out infront of him with his cursor over his head, he shoots and then it just stays on the same spot with first shot headshot every time. then he turns to look at a random wall when someone just happens to move out from behind it.


The fact you cant direct join your own gameserver is such a joke I cant comprehend it.


It would be awesome if every single person who bought the game tried to return it.

Ruining sniping does not mean they have removed the option to camp, people still camp all over the place, but there are so few sniper spots, there is no option to snipe and move to alternate spots like there was in previous games, and if you have not seen aimbot or wall hack yeh on 360, just youtube it, there are a few videos up already

whats the point of buying the game?  I've defeinitly been had by these, you're standing in a crevice way away from the action when some joker comes round the corner firing at you. its bollox.

if they have a spy plane up and you don't have ghost on then they will know where you are.

you want to look out for them always pointing at you even through walls because then it's obvious they can see what's behind it.

I got a chopper gunner just now, got 2 kills and it was destroyed.

You can usually destroy them before they hit the map.

Only time I've ever had a problem was on nuketown where even with ghost I was just spawning into its gunsights.

And I meant in game on the 360 rather than youtube videos.

People coming round the corner firing at you is a feature of the anti-lag system, they round the corner and see you and start shooting and you're dead before the host can tell you they've rounded the corner

Ghost doesn't hide you from Helis unless you have pro I guess, as i've never had long enough to get a lock on with launcher before i've been killed.


FFA is by far my favourite game mode there are just so many people on the map that you spawn and are straight into the fight it's brilliant!!

Mainly because I know how annoying killstreaks are. In MW2 the first 30 levels of a prestige with no cold blooded were always so tilting.

Anyone else notice an increase in autoaim today? I walked up to corners and my man started turning round them so obv I shoot to blast the man behind the barrel.

Had a great moment in a game of domination, 3 enemies at flag C taking it off me, so I jump from a balcony to the middle of the flag shoot them all and spin round to get the 4th man coming for support and recaptured the flag. I had to watch it again in theatre mode!

How do you use the theatre bit?

I found it pretty easy, pick a game, timeline at the bottom shows kills as a green line, deaths as a red line. hit x to start recording, hit x to stop and save your clip.

i looked and there were no games in there to review, do you have to set it up to record them in the first place?

No, they're listed under recent games, just select it and it will download it from the server.

Once you record and press stop. you have saved a segment.

if you record again from the game your watching it adds it the original segment. and then when you quit you can upload however many segments attached together as one video.

I've got that far, but you then have to go to callofduty.com/theater sign in (having pressed render in the thater menu in game) and you can get your video onto youtube that way. Except that callofduty .com is a treyarch website and a piece of shit, I cant log in or sign up or do anything because the website is so bad and i'm voilently tilted because my tomahawk show as soooo coool!!  ;grr;

Prestiged for the second time last night and got to level 20 in a couple of hours!

I think I had a sick run of 10000 point lifetime challenges helping me out!

HOw do you unlock the extra zombie levels?

Also, any tactics for surviving on it? Can't seem to last past round 8.
