Title: King George Sunday Post by: Biddy 62 on December 21, 2010, 08:28:01 PM Assuming it goes ahead what do we fancy? I think Kauto looks a cert, get on just above evens.
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: The Camel on December 21, 2010, 10:13:16 PM Long Run is an each way steal.
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Maxriddles on December 21, 2010, 10:29:55 PM I'll be backing Nacarat each way.
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Biddy 62 on December 21, 2010, 10:53:50 PM Long run, backed it last year at Cheltenham. Not keen on the jockey but it will like Kempton.
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: T_Mar on December 21, 2010, 10:56:28 PM Long Run is an each way steal. Not convinced with this beast... I know the trainer thinks he's best thing since sliced bread but still got it to prove imo Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Linux on December 22, 2010, 04:58:22 PM Noel Fehily injured, not gonna ride kauto
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Somerled on December 22, 2010, 10:48:45 PM Noel Fehily injured, not gonna ride kauto Not a terribly shabby replacement. Price will plummet further if it's actually on. Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: NigDawG on December 23, 2010, 11:57:57 PM hope it goes ahead f love boxing day meeting
went there few years back with my dad, grandad and uncles, got on a lucky one came in eighteen to one, edredon bleu i think Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Horneris on December 24, 2010, 12:02:46 AM I don't think it will be on. Which is ridic ghey as it is the highlight of boxing day.
I have a contact who lives next to Kempton Park and apparently the ground in his garden is rock solid. Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Doobs on December 24, 2010, 09:26:43 AM Taking Kauto Star at around evens just seems so obvious to me. I think I got on at 1.99. I don't know why people continue to oppose at those prices. I just have to hope it goes ahead now.
If I was going to back something each way it would be Riverside Theatre. Long Run, Sizing Europe and Forpadydeplasterer all seem a bit too unreliable to me. Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: T_Mar on December 24, 2010, 10:13:47 AM Sizing Europe (without Kauto) for me
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Linux on December 24, 2010, 10:38:10 AM Kemp 8.6 to go head :(
Edit - 13.5 Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Biddy 62 on December 24, 2010, 12:56:56 PM Its off while Monday
Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: Doobs on December 25, 2010, 10:42:51 PM Apparently the ante post king george bets stand on betfair on the King George.
Binocular looks a very decent price too. 3.45 on betfair and not much opposition. Starluck and Khyber King both look short of top class to me, so I guess we are just hoping that Binocular is somewhere near his best. Please note I have thought exactly the same on at least 2 previous occasions with this horse and been wrong both times! Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: acc2020 on December 27, 2010, 08:30:43 AM Anyone knows what happens to ante post bets , do they stand till next month or are they refunded ?
I bet Kauto a few weeks back with Laddies . Title: Re: King George Sunday Post by: boldie on December 27, 2010, 10:07:21 AM Anyone knows what happens to ante post bets , do they stand till next month or are they refunded ? I bet Kauto a few weeks back with Laddies . don't knowabout Laddies but Willy Hill said that bets made before the 20th will stand. Bets made after 20-12 are void.
