Post by: boldie on February 17, 2011, 12:57:45 PM lol Received an email from MrsB just now with my schedule for Saturday...she has friends (of hers obv.) coming over and I knew I had to be a taxi for her and her mate to go to the restaurant but I've just actually been sent a schedule!!;
Here’s the plan for Saturday: · 12 noon – Lindsay, Pete and Lindsay’s kids arrive at ours · 12 noon – We ALL (including you) have a cuppa together · 1230ish – Pete takes kids away for a while · 1230ish – You take Lindsay and I down to restaurant · 1245ish – You have plenty much time to yourself · Afternoon sometime – We call you for lift back to the house · Afternoon sometime – Lindsay calls Pete to pick her up from the house Just so you know………… Now obv, I understand her "Including you" comment as I always make sure I'm not anywhere near when people come over to our house (It's one of the main reasons people still come to our house IMO safe in the knowledge that they can visit MrsB without having to put up with me) but surely this is a bit extreme, no? rotflmfao Who else has a better half that Title: Re: Does anyone else's better half do this? MrsB and I have pretty much divided up all tasks in the house. Not like we sat down and divied them up or anything sad like that but it just kind off naturally flowed and it's just the way it is now...that means I have duties and being a Taxi is one of them. :) Works like a charm IMO and explains why MrsB is soo deliriously happy to be married to someone as wonderful as I am :) Title: Re: Does anyone else's better half do this? I also operate on the belief that everything you do takes AT LEAST an hour...even if it might not. Over the weekend I had to change the bulb in the outdoor light. Obviously we don't have a spare, so I have to go to the shop to buy one. Morrisons sell them so that's where I had to go..on a Saturday afternoon...not my idea of fun, but OK. Then find out that I have to take a little screw out and all that sort of shit before I can get to the thing and replace it. Swear it took me a solid 20 minutes total..I could have spent that time watching John Cena Pwn the Rock with his Thugonomics (admittedly I have seen it before but surely this is just too good not to watch several times?)
