Dont watch these all at once though because if you do you will spend the rest of your life being disappointed by normal TV (although entourage, whilst being good, isn't close to as good as the others) titbean - only one I haven't seen is Rome - is it as good as the others??? YES YES YES It's amazing. I totally agree about ruining tv for ever if you watch them all but that's what I did at uni and I don't watch tv anymore :lol: But I happily spent ~£80 for each of these of box set just so I could force my brother to watch them because he was faffing about so much. Rome is another BBC joint venture where the level of detail is incredible. Absolutely fking love it THIRRRRTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN! They use bought in components, often assembled in Asia and boxed in Switzerland to get around the lax swiss made rules they are a bit of a joke in the watch world, if you must buy one geta massive discount or buy used not sure what your budget is but look at Omega and Breitling for something much better at similar money ( Omega would be my choice ) , someone mentioned JLC, these are a class above thelikes of Omega Breitling etc but there can be some great deals on used watches Title: Re: cant afford a watch ....what do i watch recomondations!! Deadwood is excellent, massive shame that they didn't sign up the contracts and get it all sorted before it was too late it was all building up so nicely. Still a fking awesome show. Rome is brilliant. Wire and Sopranos vie for best tv ever. Oz is oldschool and really enjoyable plot. Entourage is really easy watching, very american but still pretty good for what it is. 24 is absolute pap. wat. wat. such drivel, ooooh look one man on his own completely unrealistically saves the world, better yet lets use that as the plot every episode. oooooooh fun. next you'll be saying he should watch something like prison break or other complete tut!!! HBO FTW |
