The Main Event action kicks off on Thursday with the first of two Day One flights starting at noon. Another bumper field is expected (says the blurb) and will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Cuong Tran who defeated a final table that included Laurence Houghton, Vicky Coren, Leon Bui and Neil Channing to take the £127,800 first prize in last year's Main Event. Thanks to member donations, I will be there for all four days to bring coverage Anyone playing? I'm hopeful.....confident even....that the TSP boys will get some coverage on the blonde Live Update. After that, the next Team Sky Poker outing will be the Walsall GUKPT. Been only 8 months since I left, but it feels like a long time ago. Have a lot of good memories of GUKPTs at the Vic so hope its another good one for all the players, staff and bloggers. Out in Prague right now for the first of the new Eureka Poker Tour events, which also starts tomorrow. Looks like it will be a good turnout.
