I am Shaun and have been posting on blonde since 2005 as Claypole.

I have recently finished work and as a result of this I am able to spend a month in Vegas in the summer and play a series of tournaments from June 7th to July 5th.  I am rooming with Brummieboy – which should be fun and will hopefully help keep me focused for the trip and have someone good around to bounce play off.

I will be playing this schedule regardless, however I am keen to reduce some variance and keep myself focused. I have had a poor 2011 on-line and have become a bit of a bankroll nit since quitting work and am looking to sell up-to 40% of my action in Vegas this summer.  I have already secured 10% so 30% available from this forum post.  I will post regular updates and may have to tweak schedule slightly for any Day Twos made – where I will either refund or substitute and event with prior notice given.
I appreciate I do not have the same pedigree as others who post here, so am selling with no mark up at 1.0. I think this is fair, my ex’s pre food / living are c£2,000 – however I appreciate this is an opportunity that helps me as well as I hope giving investors a chance of a return in a set of tournes where there will be some value.

Previous to 2010 stats not as good; my volume is not great as I have always had pretty full on jobs.  I also play as JoeKinnear on microgamming and won the 100k euro in March 2010.

My live play has been restricted to annual trips to Vegas since 2005, early days playing non ranked events.  My last three trips have been profitable; some results from a week- long stay last summer on Hendon mob profile, Shaun Conning (3 cashes in 10 days, 8 events – can’t make link work).  I have also cashed 4 times in Bellagio daily events for amounts between $2000 and $14000 and numerous smaller buy in events on previous trips.  I have only played two live events in UK of any note in past twelve months, UKIPT DTD and Galway.  Cashed in Galway in 12th and exited early on Day One at DTD.

This is my second staking post,  did a mad $2K Sunday schedule with RupertE  in January – only thing that proves is I paid him small return.

Not planning to do massive updates; kept quick updates going on twitter that most got. In summary, busted $1590 just after dinner, about 95/340. Ground a short stack most of day after having to get away from  Qc Qh and  Kd Kc during first two levels. Gotback to 30k pre dinner with a double up - finally went for 60k pot when my four bet jam with  Kh Ahrt was called by  massive stack Tc Td who was 3 bettting light and didn't get there. Horrendous hangover after playing and drinking at O Sheas. Next stop Rio on Saturday. Also didn't add dealer chip $10 and stuff lol. Will keep running total of stakes returns here.

I played it terrible....suited connectors, I never call unless you do - but thought a spot to get a stack and stll 3.6k back. Win it all mate - nice to share a table briefly and glad you got them if anyone had to

So, today not good.  As you'll guess, Flushy busted me, my flopped top two pair was not enough playing about 20bbs.  Didn't play great tbh and made one bad call where I thought I had decent enough odds but clearly had brain freeze.  Next stop a small buy in at Venetian on Sunday.

Lol - yes I know. That is just on the stake. Comedy moment yesterday was heading to Bellagio after Rio. Now, look at the board outside tourne room advertising daily 550 - no mention of rebuts. Then look at tournament clock....I arrive at level 5, ave chip count reflects 10k starting stack, no rebuts shown no moving prize pool.  I sit down and think, fuck me they're playing deep here - then realise something up. Rebut and double add on. Pool made 60k from 34 runners. Cost me total $1500 own dime when my  Ad Kc v  Aspades Ks wasn't good enough to fight above average with 19 left - how we laughed.

On the plus side Brummie min cashed in the $120 turbo at Caesars today lol

Going back tomorrow first day two with 71 left, 65k at 1000/2000 - so 33 big blinds. 38 paid....played solidly today and good confidence boost. And iPhone batteries are officially crap, thank god for iPads.

Will obv duck $1k....may substitute $1500 at Rio on Thursday and duck $340 at Venetian as balances, but will update on here.

Well, as you probably guessed, no cash. Finally exited in 47th - 11 shy of the money. Was absolutely card dead for the whole morning, even with limited 3 bet range opportunities.  Nothing spectacular really - check raised 44 from BB on a 22T boasts and had to pass - and shoved A9 into AQ for 8 bigs at the end.

In good company, felt for Pab when i spoke to himbriefly who lost a 400k pot with QJ on a JJ7 board - tough run for him.

Next stop, not sure - $330 on schedule at Venitian, but may play 1500 at Rio Tursday and Saturday as we missed the $1k on Tuesday. Will update.

Also, running totals include dealer chips I missed at Venetian - I clearly won't ask for any more but will use running total yo wok out reschedules etc.

Nice pool day today, off for a massage and the dinner later. Feeling good despite yesterday's deep run and at least one day off a week is a must

Played the $350 at The Venetian today as per the schedule and ducked the $1500 at Rio I was thinking of substituting.  Just got in, someohow managed to grind a small stack and going back with $207k at 4k/8k, avergae stack is 210k and 47 runners left from a field of 823.  think we have got about $820 locked up, $51k up top - so not quite in moomins league but a bit of a sweat and again a confidence boost after just missing a cash in the $1600.

Perfect day would be a bink in time to head upto the Rio and rail the Brits.  I'll update on facebook and twiiter if we get deep.  Then onto the Rio on Saturday for WSOP $1500 - we still got a good set of tournes left as well.

Out in 26th - pretty standard, I re-shipped  8h 8d for 15 bigs at 6k/12k and 2k ante and got dwell called by  Ahrt Qs - no sweat as he hit the flop.  Kind of crapshoot as 415k pot put me above average.  Won a rias early then had to pass  Ad Js - he showed  Kc Kh and a really tough spot where I passed  Aspades Kh that I have been chatting through with Brummie

Anyway, feeling good - off to rail Moorman and reg early for the $1500 tommorrow.  Off the mark and I'll save the run good until it matters

Today at the Veneitan was not good - busted by level 3, then headed to the Rio.  Got knocked out by and old Ladbrokes player Sudsey that I know when my  Kh Kc was not good enough.  Still keep getting it in good.  Due top Brummies escapades in the $1500 not sure of schedule in the next few days - basically have just under 4k left on the stake...looking to play 3 events definately the $1500 on Tues as per the schedule, however will confirm weekend tournes based on how Paul does and if we go out etc.

Right - it's getting depressing posting non cashes - so this is the last one until end of stake.  Played the $1000 today, late regged during level 2 and really enjoyed today and think I played well.  Sat down with Antonio Esfandiari to my left and a good table.  Slowly build some chips despite losing 1200  Ahrt Qh v Ad 8s shove - got to about 6k effortlessly - then started to tangle with Antonio.  4 bet him a couple of times - got to 9.5k then had to pass to an old boys 4 bet, back to 7k.

Exit hand I may have messed up - I raise to 475 at 100/200 25 from  late position, and Antonio peels from SB, BB gets out of the way.  Flop is  Js 4h 5c - he leads out for 800 into 1400 and I decide to float, so 3k in pot.  Turn is  7s, he leads again for 1400, I think he is weak so dwell and 3 bet jam, know he may have a J but plenty of hands I am beating and plenty he can think he's losing to. Its about 4200 - he tanks for ages and speech etc and makes the call with  Qc Jd - I don't get their.  With hindsight, he wasn't bet / passing - I guess check jam maybe ok, but this is a bit spewy.

Was fun anyway - he was having prop bets with a stag party on rail to go and "rub heads" of Deeb, Dwan than Hellmuth - the stag made $700!

So, the plan is as follows

We have just under $3k left on the stake and my friends get here Friday.  I plan to play the $2500 at Venetian tommorrow and then one more tourne - either the $1500 at Rio on Tuesday if I bust or the $1k at Binnions on Thursday if I make Day Two at Venetian.  As you will see, depending on which combination I play its between $500 and $1000 over the stake, which I will freeroll at same % as a gesture of goodwill based on just one cash and Brummie scooping.  The $1500 cash stays in the kitty to be divided up whatever.

if any of you have a problem with this message me and I will just include you in either the $1k or $1.5k and rebate the remaining along with your return - as clearly the $2500 is a bit higher than the original tournes in the stake.  If I don't hear from you I'll assume you are taking the freeroll.

Cheers - Rio doing my nut - and sods law cash was in smallest in Venetian.  Trip ok overall, I binked one of the Caesars Megastacks on own dime + Brummie Bonus, just sigh Rio.  I just got your message, I'll see you Tuesday, or hopefully later if I day 2 Venetian.  Gl Tuesday

Just bagged up at Venetian with 72k, spot on average and going back with 60 bigs.  It made 275 runners, 82 left - 27 paid and 150k up top.

Nicky and Whollyflush still leftbin, Nicky has about 90k, JP 26k.  Two early for a sweat but a 3rd deepish run.

Will now be playing Binions Friday and not WSOP tomorrow.

I always assumed that it was part of Notts as it was so close to Newark (and the partents just manipulated the system to get their kids into the Lincs grammer school system not to Newark), but i guess it is like Long Bennington and in Lincs but has a Newark post code.

That's me done - Binions was a disaster today, played terribly and made a horrendous move at the wrong time - just plain bad.  Not usre whether it was dissacpointment of Tues, or the fact I'm on home stretch or the fact I just hated it down there (i.e. disorgnausation, uncomforable, horribble sticky chips lol) - but played bad.  If it makes you feel andy better I then dropped $1000 at the Wynn rebuy when my KK aipf was not good enough for  Tc Aspades - not even suited fml

So return is a mere $1501.  With the exception of today, I think I've played well, 4 deep runs, a near bubble in a $1600 - and sods law the cash in the smallest buy in tourne.

I really appreciate the staking, wish it had gone better obv.  Next time I play something in UK that I plan to play anyway you can have a piece at 0.95 if you want.

PM how you want money - clearly if stars will have to wait until I am nack in the UK.  Brummie sorted, Huw & Andy I'll give you cash in Vegas, Dave - lets see how Sunday goes.
