Thanks for the top notch updates Tighty.
I'd like to wish the best of luck to ALL of the remaining competitors.
After a great deal of research i've come up with my final ten list.
In no particular order, they are:-
  William Martin
  Julian Thew
  Steve Holden
  Richie Allen
  Andriena Nutt
  Rupinder Bedi
  Waheed Ashraf
  Ben Jackson
  Dave Ulliot
  Toby Lewis

I played against William Martin at Blackbelt Live a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed with the way he conducts himself at the table. A true poker gent, and a very good player too. Hope he does well.
I also played briefly against Richie Allen. He seems a very bubbly character. A cheeky, chirpy, crafty cockney. He should be there at the end.
Good Luck to all the Blondes that i haven't included in my final ten too :)

I wish!

Simple answer is its too expensive to send a team over there for four days, and with regards to the updates we have other priorities such as 1 DTDs and 2 GUKPTs.

Keith the Camel raised in the cut off, Gascoigne shoved his small stack in the blinds with  5h Ahrt

Camel calls with  Ac Kc and holds

We have a big chip leader

Richard Whiteley opens, Paul Zimbler calls and Richie Allen 3 bets on the button

Whiteley calls, Zimbler folds

flop  Ad 9h 4c

Allen check calls 14,000

turn  6d

Allen check calls 25,000

river  Js

Allen check calls a 50,000 shove

Allen  Ac Jd

Whiteley  Ahrt Kh

Rivered two pair sends Allen over 300,000 and knocks Whiteley out for the count

Toby Lewis raises to 5,000 utg

Duncan McLellan calls utg+1

folded to Pete Charalambous in the small blind who shoves 65,000

Toby passes

The unorthodox and often reluctant to fold McLellan counts his stack. He has 75,000 left

He calls

Pete  Ahrt Js

McLellan  Kc Qh

flop  5s Qs 6s

No help for Charalambous and he exits with a grimace and a frustrated grumble.

Peter Evans raises the button

Julian Thew 3 bets the small blind with  Ahrt Jh

Evans 4 bet shoves

Thew calls

"Julian" I enquire of the fortunate one "You were priced into to call the shove?"

"Not really" he replied with honesty. Pause " but tell everyone I was please"

Evans  Kc Aspades

Jd on the turn knocks Evans out and sends Thew to 300,000

I arrive on the turn of a  3c Qd 3d Ts board

James Woodruff in the big blind checks

Guy Johnson in mid position, and I assume the pre-flop raiser

16,300

Woodruff check raise to 58,000 with 50,000 behind

Johnson has the clock called on him eventually

Asks Woodruff if he will show if he passes

Woodruff "I will make my decision on that if you pass"

With 5 seconds to go Guy folds  Ad Ac face up

He has over 100,00 still though

Ben Martin raises pre in the cut off

Lynne Beaumont calls on the button

Heads up to a  6h 8d Jd board

Ben leads, Lynne 3 bets, Ben 4 bets Lynne Shoves, called

Guess the hands.

OK lets not do that

Ben  6d Td

Lynne  9h 7h

Draws a go-go

Turn  Ahrt

Yikes for Ben

river  Aspades

Ben virtually knocks Beaumont out with his flopped bottom pair and flush draw and goes well into six figures, approx 160,000

Laurence Houghton raises to 5200 in the hi-jack

Devilfish flats playing 40,000 in the cut off

Button calls

flop 4s Jc 5s

Houghton checks

Devilfish 10,000

button folds

Houghton sets Devilfish in by making it 45,000

Devilfish ponders for 4 minutes 37 seconds, talking throughout

He calls

Devilfish  Ac 4c

Houghton  7s 6s. Nice flop sir

turn  9d

Devilfish "Red, high, dealer"

river  3d to complete rivermanl's draw and knock Devilfish out

Devilfish turns to me and says "Never stand behind me again when I am in a hand, youa re a jinx"

Fair enough sir, you are a pillock

Sunil Mistri raises to 20,000

Wadey Ashraf to 50,000 in the big blind

Mistri 120,000

Wadey 275,000

Mistri smiles a shy smile.

Two chip leaders clashing

Mistry asks Wadey if he has got Aces

Wadey smiles, almost imperceptibly

Mistry smiles agai n, then bows his head and takes a deep breath in

He says "fold" but holds his cards in his hand

Wadey feigns to show and Mistry shows Ace King (correction, told to me second hand)

Wadey then shows  9c 2c

Julian for the win  and good karma. Love for Wadey or Fraser to win this for z second  time. Might get these guys some more love from the players who never cash live but tell me they are so much better than these two coz they have played millions more hands on line. But would guess they would still argue they are tez and put poor results down to variance. Have noticed John eames does well Live and his close mates all him nitty.

Shut up smashedagain, this is a rail thread, stop using it as a platform to voice your ridiculous inferiority complex.

Might just be the best blonde Live Update ever, certainly up there amongst the best, Tighty is on fire.

Big thanks to Tighty, & let's not forget our Sponsor, who funded this mycardshark.com. They sell nice things. Please buy their nice things.

Finally, lots of friends still in this, but for lots of reasons, I hope Thewy gets the job finished in style, he's due. Having said that, good luck to every single player who returns today - £95k paydays don't come along so often in the East Midlands.
