Will keep an eye out for them mate.

We've arrived here, and the place is heaving. 234 runners already registered and we don't start for another 10 mins. Nice long queue at the cash desk as well, this is gonna be a good one...300+ I reckon.

Greg Garrett, who won a deepstack when I updated recently, is already over 30k after crippling Keith Littlewood with Q-Q vs K-K on a J-T-9-8-K board, it all flying in on the river.

Niall Farrell, who won the APAT Team Championships and was Joobie's teammate has been spotted in the field. He's down to 5k though after "blowing a 3rd of my stack in the first 3 hands" then losing another chunk to Terry Jones on an 8c Ad 5c 6s 6c board, Farrell having to fold the river after Jones check-raised the flop, fired the turn and shoved the river.

We're sweating as every table bar our updating table is being used. 279 already in and we're only 2/3 of the way through level 1!

Jim "bookiebasher" Moult has knocked out Michael Sharkey.

I caught it at the end of the hand but Moult flopped 2-3-5 with A-4 and Sharkey had A-A which eventually found it's way all in. No chops for Sharkey and he is one of the first players to depart today.

290 entered so far, 288 left. I'm still sweating my table...

Reserve until they can open a table and/or people get knocked out, Fran.

I'm on hopkin watch! He is opposite me! But alas, not on my table!

So far, no pints, and chips look like a starting stack

That's about right. Life tips from Bopkin - "Beer + McDonalds breakfast at 6am = sickness".

Joobs has my lappy to post pics so I'm stealing hers.

Chris Sly pushed all in when quite short over the top of a Peter Mason raise on a flop of 9-5-4 holding 7-5. Mason couldn't quite find the hero fold with J-J and predictably they were good after the 9 turn and 6 river.

Peter Charararararararararararararararalambous did a few chips to Jakally (who is sat to his direct left) but then must have felt like his birthday had come when he got shoved on by Samir Kahn on a 6-A-5-4 rainbow board. Charra held 5-5 for middle set where a sheepish Samir only had A-Qdd. As m3boy commented "must be nice to not have a sweat!"

I sympathise as I've had a very similar experience.

When I did eventually move tables I ended up sitting next to someone who made the first guy smell okay.

2 double up's for the blonde ladies!

A short stacked Andriena Nutt doubled her 4k stack through Ian Bennett with K-K vs Q-Q all in preflop. No sweats for dreenie on the 6-3-J-6-A board.

I then spotted the Clawbird raising to 400 from the cutoff after Debbie Rawson had limped. Marios Arkadiou called from the button, Ryan Lawless called from the BB and Rawson called. They saw a Ks Td Kc flop and it was checked to Claw, she fired 800. The whole world bar Rawson called. So much respect!

The turn was 6d and Lawless checked. Claw fired again, this time for 2000 and Arkadiou folded. Lawless then check-raised to a suspicious looking 4200 and Claw called.

The river was 5d and Lawless snap-shoved for 6150. Claw didn't look happy but she did call for pretty much all of her chips, just covering Lawless by about 600. Claw turned over Ahrt Kd and that was enough for Lawless to muck and exit stage left.

Gareth Walker is out.

He found himself all in on the flop of 7d 6s 8s holding 7c 6c but Ian Dawson held the drawtastic Aspades Ks which binked the 4s turn to take the lad. No help for Gareth on the Kh river and it was game over for the UKIPT winner here.

Ryan "scotty77" Spittles is short, but was last seen shoving over the top of an 1100 c-bet from Claw on a 3h 9s Tc board. Claw and the rest of the table folded and he scooped a nice pot but is still way below average with 8k.

Lots of noise coming from table 48.

Basically what happened was that the dealer had dealt 2 cards to everybody but the button's second card was exposed - the Kd

Normally, that would be the burn card and button gets the original burn? Yeah? No. The dealer then proceeded to deal the next card face up! The card? The Aspades

The dealer put the 2 exposed cards to one side and proceeded to deal the next card face down. However, big Charra immediately stopped proceedings as theoretically the button had received what would have been the first flop card. Floor was called and ruling was that as 2 cards had been exposed one after the other, the hand was a misdeal.

Just to make everybody laugh, the button turned over his cards. Qh Qs!

A round with Tighty sharplea:

Table 15.

15    1    Kevin Parkes - 6k
15    2    Alexander Jobling - 6k
15    3    Ramazanali Abbassi - 28k
15    4    Stephen Wilsdon - 13k
15    5    Rupinder Bedi - 12k
15    6    Daniel Jones - 16.5k
15    7    John Morgan - 5k
15    8    Ray Ryder - 24k
15    9    Mohammed Sajawal - 24k

HAND 1: Button is Parkes.

Jones makes it 600, Morgan and Sajawal call. Flop is 5s 7s 7h and Sajawal bets 1300 when checked to. It's enough.

HAND 2: Button is Jobling.

As the antes are being collected, Jason Herbert knocks out 2 players behind me after floating a c-bet and spiking the turn of a Q-Q-x-J-A board with J-J. His opponents had A-K and K-Q respectively. Anyway, back to the hand. Morgan limps, Jobling makes it 725 and all fold.

HAND 3: Button is Abbassi.

Jones limps, Morgan shoves, all fold. Hmmm...

HAND 4: Button is Wilsdon.

Morgan limps, Wilsdon limps behind, Bedi and Jones in the blinds make up and check. They all check the Td Kc 4s flop. On the 7d turn, it's checked to Wilsdon who bets 650. Bedi check-raises to 1700 and everyone folds eventually, Wilsdon tank-folding.

HAND 5: Button is Bedi.

Ryder limps, Sajawal raises to 950. All fold.

HAND 6: Button is Jones.

It's folded to the blinds. They see a Th Kc Kh flop and Morgan bets 250. Ryder calls. The turn is 5c and Morgan quickly bets 500. Ryder calls. The river is the Ahrt and both check. Morgan has Td 9d and it's good.

HAND 7: Button is Morgan.

Jobling raises to 500, Wilsdon calls and Sajawal calls from the BB. Flop is 8c 4d 5s and Sajawal checks. 800 from Jobling is enough to get Wilsdon to fold. Sajawal then check-raises to 2200 and Jobling mucks very quickly.

HAND 8: Button is Ryder.

800 from Abbassi, Morgan calls and Sajawal calls from the SB. Sajawal then leads 600 on Jh 6c 5c and Abbassi folds. Morgan shoves for 4325 and Sajawal calls saying "You have a Jack, you're good." Morgan did indeed have a Jack, he had Qh Jd and that was miles ahead of 8h 8d which Sajwala turned over. The board ran out Td and 6d, giving Morgan the 10k pot.

HAND 9: Button is Sajawal.

550 from Bedi and Morgan is the only caller. Flop is 7c 4h 3s and Bedi c-bets 900. It's more than enough.

I believe the camera we normally use is actually owned by Tighty (but please correct me if I'm wrong). Either way, he has the camera from the Walsall update and he is in Leeds updating the Sky Poker Tour event on their forum.

I can't afford to buy a proper, professional camera as I'm skint. I've a wedding to save up for. So we use joobie's old camera, which is only a 5MP camera. I have an 8MP phone camera, but I can't transfer the pictures over to the laptops.

On top of that, Joobs is updating this weekend as a favour to me. She's not getting paid, so she could quite happily just go back to our hotel room and chill. Please, direct criticism my way and leave her alone.

Girgy shoved KQ but Kinboshi had two red Aces (Girgy cant write). Least they went to a blonde!

Claw, on the other hand, raised AQ red and blue in late position. Button has called and BB calls. Flop is Qs 8h 3h and Claw bets out. Button calls. Turn is Kc and Claw shoves. Button calls with Jc 9c and hits Ts on the river. Ouch.

I joined table 48 mainly because of Charra and Jakally laughing about something but quickly realised a big pot was taking place. Paul Garnham had bet 6000 into a 13k pot on the turn of a Td 9s 8d Qd board. Todd Swain tank-called. The river was the 8c and Swain checked. Garnham went into the tank and eventually bet 5500, but was met with a snap all-in from Swain. Garnham instantly knew he'd made the wrong decision to bet, and tanked for a good 4 minutes before the clock was called. Paul folded.

Nick Hicks is our chip leader, we think, as he just eliminated two players. I got to the table as there was a 3-way all in on the flop of Tc 9h 6s. Brett Angell was all in for about 30k holding 8c 7s for the flopped nuts, a shortstack in seat 9 was all in with Kh Kc and Nick had called both holding 9d 9s. Nick immediately binked the 6c turn and faded the 7d river to take his stack to about 90k and what we believe to be the chip leader.

Chinese Frankie just lost a chunk of his stack.

I joined the table with the board reading Ts 3c Kh 5c. Cam Law had bet 1k, with Titbeam calling. Frankie then raised to 4500 but Gordon Goodall shoved for 8.1k total. Cam and Titbeam folded but Frankie was priced in and reluctantly called...reluctantly because he was down to 5 outs. Goodall had Kc 6c which dominated Frankie's Tc 7c. The river was the 3d which gave Goodall the pot...but left Cam upset because he had folded Ahrt Aspades!

Chinese Frankie just lost a chunk of his stack.

I joined the table with the board reading Ts 3c Kh 5c. Fan Cao had bet 1k, with Titbeam calling. Frankie then raised to 4500 but Gordon Goodall shoved for 8.1k total. Cao and Titbeam folded but Frankie was priced in and reluctantly called...reluctantly because he was down to 5 outs. Goodall had Kc 6c which dominated Frankie's Tc 7c. The river was the 3d which gave Goodall the pot...but left Cao upset because he had folded Ahrt Aspades!
Cam law folds aces. Fan is his mate

Cheers, I'll modify.

Interesting situation over on table 23...

George Kyriacou exposed a card during a hand, believing that his opponent Lee Cockroft had or was going to fold. TD Tom was called and issued Kyriacou the standard one-round penalty despite Cockroft claiming "I was folding anyway". That's when it all kicked off. An exasperated Kyriacou started ranting, firstly at Tom for giving him the penalty, then at Cockroft for not defending him enough so that he didn't get the penalty! Naturally, Cockroft fired a few verbals back and by the end of it all, Kyriacou still had a one round penalty and was escorted outside by 2 security guards and Rob Yong (w/ his dog, who's name I don't know) for a chat.

Mickey Wernick couldn't resist when he spotted Yong with the dog, shouting "Rob, set the dog on im!"

Kyriacou is now back in the building but as of yet, not in his seat.

Naresh Parshad is out, he was all in on a 6-Q-T flop with 9-9 but his Anonymous opponent had K-K (for the second hand in a row, according to Giblin and Charra) and they held on the 7 turn and 3 river.

Sophie Godfrey is up over 80k after she just knocked out Victor Corbett with Ahrt 6h on a 8h Jd Kh 3h Aspades board.

Chris Kay doubled through Niall Farrell with Ahrt Ad vs Firaldo's Ks Jh on a Qs Ts 5c 4s Qd board. Firaldo was laughing at his inability to bink one of his 13 outs on the river!

I join table 23 pre flop as seat 7 George Kyriacou raises 3k he gets 2 callers    Liaquat Javed in seat 5 and Ian Bennett in seat 6

the flop is dealt 9d 8c Qs

Javed bets 2600, Bennett responds by shoving all in, which is snap called by Kryiacou. Javed stands back and lets these two get on with it.

Bennett turns over Ks Qd  Kyriacou gallantly flips over Kd Kh and just incase you didn't see it announces rather smugly he has kings

turn and river are dealt Kc Jd and we lose Ian Bennett in 149th

Gordon Goodall is out.

Jason Herbert raised to 2200 but saw Chris Kay make it 5k. Goodall shoved for about 9k and Herbert just called. Kay shoved over the top of that and Jason was priced in to call that shove as well:

Kay: 7-7
Herbert: A-J
Goodall: Q-J

The board ran out 7-A-3-K-6 to send the pot to Kay, knock Herbert back down to average chips and send Goodall to the rail.

We're on a break. 15 minutes. 4 more levels to play after this apparently.

get a new camera ffks

I hear there is a good camera at a cash converters for about £100.  Should pop in.

wudda been a good idea

Just want to point out that I get the £100 pawned camera joke, even if nobody else does. Oh, and I'm busto, if anyone is interested in how I was getting on.

Mickey Wernick had a lovely hand just before the break. He minraised UTG with 4-4 and got 2 callers. The flop was Q-9-9 and all 3 checked. The turn was a 7 and Mickey bet 4k - getting one caller. The river was a K and Mickey checked. His opponent bet 8k and Mickey called, leaving 1k back.

The fours were good.

Wernick has 24k.

All the chips go in the middle on table 37

Ben Phillips in seat 3 is pinning his hopes on 4s 4c while Joseph Lucas in Seat 9 is willing his Ac Kh to hit.

the board is dealt Jh 8d Aspades Qh 7c

Joseph is now on around 65k while Ben seems to be blinding away with his remaining 2300

Steve Holden is gone in a classic hand...A-K no good against Pete Singleton's Q-Q.

Colin Young also headed out the door.

Fraser Bellamy has 80k and enjoying himself.

Chip leader we think though is Ann Tranh Dinh, who has about 140k.

LOST ONE!!

flop is already dealt Aspades 6s 7h

Stephen Nash in seat 9 is all in for around 17k, Seat 1 Richard Pearson reshoves for 42k. Sophie Godfrey dwells for a bit, thinks better of it and folds.

Stephen shows 9s 7s and isn't too confident when richard turns over Js Ts.

turn and river are as follows Qs 6c and Stephen is sent home in 116th.

127 players left with 26 minutes and another 3 levels of 40 minutes left.

How many people do you think are coming back?

and if a train from london is travelling towards nottingham at 60mph and a train from edinburgh is travelling toward nottingham at 90mph what time will play start tomorrow?

As it's a Sunday service my guess would be Wednesday - am I close?  :dontask:

Lots of exits...in 2 hands.

Firstly over on Kinboshi's table we had a 4 way all in preflop. Anonymous, Stefano de Palma, Kenny Prazer and Paul Newman had got it all in the middle.

Anonymous: 5-5
de Palma: J-T
Prazer: 6-6
Newman: Q-Q

The board ran out 8-J-6-8-A which led to a lot of side pots. Newman and de Palma were the two biggest stacks and de Palma was eliminated. Prazer was the next biggest stack and he took the remaining 2 pots, eliminating Anonymous. It worked out that Newman made a profit because of de Palma's all in as well.

Then over on Table Herbert/Wayman/Farrell, there was another 4 way all in!

Another Anonymous: A-K
Cam Law: K-J
Phil Butt: Q-3 (extremely shortstacked)
Paul King: 9-9

The board over here ran out 2-6-7-9-7 but it was simple to work out these pots; King had everyone covered and we said goodbye to another 3 players!

97 left with 2 levels and 25 minutes to go. Girgy, I think you're not gonna get close mate!

m3boy is out also. He shoved 4400 blind and got called by Farrell and King. Farrell's A-7 was good on a checked down board of 2-4-2-J-5, with King mucking T-9 and Garnham having K-8.

Alan McBride and Mark Wilson are also out.

his A J was no good against Williams K K

and Nick is left with under 1 BB

Nick - Jd Ts

Paul - Aspades 3c

double up to 5k for nick... can he make a miraculous come back?

The very vocal George Kyriacou is out.

He pushed all in for a pot sized bet of 38k on a 3d 4h Ts board. His opponent, Liaquat Javed, tanked and tanked as George pretty much talked him into the call. Javed had Kc Td for top pair but Kyriacou had Ahrt Aspades. Kyriacou pretty much bokked himself when he kept calling for Javed's cards...and one eventually hit on the Jh turn and the Th river.

Standardly, the whole building now knows about it.

He 4-bet shoved A-3 blue and forgot that live players do.not.fold.

Especially when they have a pair of 8's in the hole.

One Way Poker just went two ways as both Adriano Luzzi and Jonathan Baylis found themselves all in with J-J against an underpair. Luzzi faced Anonymous' 8-8 whilst Baylis was against Jerome O'Shea's 9-9. Luzzi ran good, he saw a board of 3-9-6-J-A to double up but Baylis exited, O'Shea hit a 9 on the 9-3-2-Q-A board to take down that pot.

Mickey Wernick is also out. Ramzi Abbassi shoved over the top of a Kyriacos Dionysiou 7k raise. Mickey had 6600 and called all in. Greek Jack folded and it was a race, Ramzi's 7-7 against Mickey's K-Q. 7's held on the 3-5-9-2-8 board.

Big hand on table 15

seat 2 Alexander Jobling shoves for 17k

Seat 3 Ramazanali Abbassi also shoves for a lot more (around 70k )

a lot of insta-folding till we get round to Mustafa Kubilay in seat 9 who calls all in for 36,300

all cards are turned over

Jobling - Qh 6h

Abbassi - Kh Ac

Kubilay - Ad Qs

dealer deals Jh 7s Qd 5c 3c

we say goodbye to Alexander Jobling

Kubilay now has a healthy sack of approx 90k - btw he doesn't like people shoving his BB and yes he will call you.

and Abbassi is left nursing a smaller but still reasonably sized stack of around 40k

We're done for the day. 52 players will return tomorrow according to the screen.

Just waiting for chipcounts now - DTD say they'll be up within 20 mins. Awesome, I'm so looking forward to bed.

We're back at 2.30pm tomorrow for the resumption. Join Joobs and I from then to see who takes down this month's deepstack...or more importantly, if Jason Herbert can make 3 final tables in a row! (He final tabled February and March and did not play April)

Right, Joobs and I are off to the hotel and we'll post the chip counts when we get there as they're just being uploaded to DTDs computer system as we speak type. See you all later!

ty for the good work guys. probably  evens to make the final only having half average and just about to watch manny v shane. the kids should be up and about by then.  we are at a 4 year olds birthday party at cheeky chimps at 10 so going to bed will be futile.

Titbeam has failed to make day 2, once again.

He 4-bet shoved A-3 blue and forgot that live players do.not.fold.

Especially when they have a pair of 8's in the hole.

Tbf I announced whilst shoving I have a 3 and it's blue....

Bustoed, raise calling 74s vs a shorty and losing another all in.

fun times. Good luck the herbert and all the other fish left in! :)up
