I'm selling 50% of my action in the main event this year with no markup! I am selling in minimum 2.5% stakes costing$250.Payment is by xfer to my stars or tilt accounts only,my username is gregior on both.

This will be the 3rd time iv played the ME,i busted day3 1st time and cashed for 23k last year

Five hands later get 5bet off 1010 blind on blind (is this really weak?) and im down to 17k from the starting 30k after 20minutes FML !

Dwindle down to 15k shortly b4 dinner and open  Ad Th from the cutoff,bb calls and flop comes  3h 4c 8c bb checks,i check, turn comes  Ts, bb checks,i bet 1200 into 1450 pot, bb calls river comes  Td giving me trips,bb checks, i bet 2500 into 3850 pot with 12k ish behind,bb insta shoves all in and i donk call he shows  4d 4h for flopped set and it's gg me.

I acknowledge that i'd much rather someone be honest with how they bust but you don't want to stake someone and then just have them say they played pants.....

is this results driven titbean. i have sat with gregior a couple of times now and despite him usually reading the Telegraph (i believe it is) he always has a handle on the situation and makes the right decisions. have you had a pop at anyone else?

Pretty sure that others do worse and then be vague in their report and come out with the standard 'lost a flip and GG' line. I for one would prefer honest feedback, I'm not going to give them a hard time as there is simply no point, they were playing with their own money too so they were just going with what they thought was right at the time. We all make mistakes sometimes.........

I am fine with people making mistakes, and absolutely delighted I made the correct decision in staking someone who would be honest.

Would everyone rather I said wp etc? he said himself he didn't play some hands well, I don't think that on then reading them that they do sound well played, if I came across overly harsh then i'm sorry but i'm not going to say 4 betting a value hand without a plan is a good idea that would just be lieing?

Seems to me that gregior asked for opinions. Opinions  were given. Honest opinions. Better than fannying around and lying imo. MC told me I played a hand terribly once on a staking thread, learnt from it and moved on, I'm sure gregior won't be too upset.

It's the mfkin main event tho.

Imo someone being honest about how they played and not just saying 'we lost a race' is 100% more likely to make me want to stake again.

We all make mistakes constantly, and in poker have to be continually improving or we are going backwards.

The main event is just another donkie, it just has ridic prizes and intensely slow structure. We've played 20 hours and are barely near the cash it's a right farce!

i'm enjoying working/playing but the place itself is deffo not kewl and being here over 3 weeks is really starting to grate!

all live poker is tez. thats why you struggle n i scrape by. as soon as you need to actually use your brain i suck and you excel.

 totally understand about vegas, actually thought i was the only person alive that hates it. the place even looks like a toilet in the sand when you are flying in. it aint until it gets dark does the place actually look decent. must say the shows and food is great but thats about it.

get your head right and focus and you should breeze a deep run. most of the donks will be out by the money bubble and you should be more in your comfort zone playing people with some idea......but beware and remember jerry yang, darwin moon, keith hawkins and moneymaker all have had deep runs

I folded the best hand on purpose earlier today... i'm a proper live player now innit.


It's all skill, just gotta time this stuff right and ima win it innit.
