Obviously the tournament is extremely good value and if we run good and win everyone gets RIDICULOUSLY paid.

selling at 1.4 : 1 - so

1% = $140 and so on, pls only round amounts of % otherwise its a bit tilting.

Cash in vegas is much more preferred, pokerstars is the next best option, bank xfer the last.

he has been listening to me a lot of late paul. the tourney is good value if he sticks to the ABC guide to playing idiots 1.4 is a good rate imho. but  best chance over all is if he is too wasted  to get out of bed then its full refunds all round.

I wanted to back someone for this years ME but i dont think i can justify backing you at 1.4 seeing as there are only a handful of people in the poker world who i feel represent value at that price.

A mate of mine and Cos was selling at 2:1 last week so if you can get it why not.

Hmm its nothing personal literally don't think anyone can say 1.4 is value in such a large random field...bought keys at 1.2 after his + 1.1 mil....

I have bits staked in a few people for the ME mainly for interest and imo certain people from reading their posts etc to me i would be happy at but the main reason for me being happy at 1.4 was that titbean was in and when he stakes you know your getting some $$$$$$ back

live poker is a joke there are people i'd pay 1.5 for there are lots of people i'd laugh in their face if they asked any markup.

Dave represents value @1.4 for sure but there are better players than Dave selling at less than 1.4 so I would rather invest there. Also I guess it's s point of principle why pay 1.4 for someone with no record?

I mean it's a good point, but I have a record of winning at poker for the past two years, which is more than can be said for a lot of people with impressive hendon mobs.

FWIW I sold in the 6max PLO event at face value, which is my specialist format, for the same reasons I want 1.4 here.

Anyways don't really wanna sell at less so regardless of this discussion im not going to.

Why are you getting tilted ? the questions are pretty valid as you have no discernable tournament record and asking 1.4. You are asking people to invest money in you and then getting all hissy because they ask why you are demanding such a high markup.

I have been told you are a really good player by someone I trust and believe them...but there are thousands of really good players out there.

I see you are playing 10-25 cash which would suggest a bankroll of $125,000-$250,000 and you reckon you have a 500% roi in this comp... my question would be why are you selling any %... You can obv afford it and have a very good chance of a major cash.. why would you give money away?

I'm tilted because you didnt ask about my any of the questions you referred to. if you'd have said "pls can you show some graphs/stats/anything to suggest you can justify the markup" then I would have done so happily, Im not getting hissy because people are asking to justify the markup, no1 in this thread has actually asked that. All it's been is comments like yours that basically say it isnt good value, which imo is poor form. If we wanna talk about what markups is reasonable on the ME, or even about my ability as a player feel free to start a thread but i think it's out of order to post in a thread where I#m advertising pieces in a tournament

don't really wanna comment on my bankroll but try living in vegas for 7 weeks and play 1/3 of the poker you usually play, drink 3x the amount you usually drink and see how your liquidity is at the end :P

They've always generally been strict on this stuff. I remember a few years ago and a friend was refused permission to leave the country because one of the inconsequential pages of the passport had the corner ripped off.
