Right guys, its up and running.

I am going to set a league up. There are 2 league options:

1) Classic
Teams are ranked based on their total points in the game. You can join or leave a league with Classic scoring at any point during the season.

2) Head-to-Head
You play a match each gameweek against another team in the league. Once the fixtures have been generated the league is locked and teams will not be able to join or leave.

I am going to set up a classic league for Blonde Poker. This will be the main league and the entry fee will be £20. I will hold the money and then payout in May (You can trust me because I've been on the forum 6 years, everyone knows me pretty well and you all know I live in Headingley with Rich & Jones.

I am thinking payouts 60/25/15% if we get around 20 players, 50/30/20 if we get around 30? This is open to debate tho obv.

We can also set up a head to head league for whoever wants to and have money on that too, not everyone has to, whatever.

Ok, doesn't seem too difficult, confirm yourself as IN on this thread, I'll pm you payment details and when the moneys received I will PM the code.

Anytime between now and the evening of the 12th of August works for me. Game starts on the 13th at 11.30am.

The Head to Head idea seems to be kicking off nicely so we will go with that aswell.

It says that if there is an odd number of players one person plays against an made up player who then gets the average score in the gameweek. Will be a sad state of affairs if we have an odd number of players and Mr. Average goes on to win.

What shall we say for the buy in for the H2H then before I start dishing out payment details etc, £20 again and pay runner up something? or less, or more? I'm easy.

If say we manage to get 32 runners for the H2H, its only going to last 5 gameweeks, i think thats right ? Maybe do a smaller buy each time but run them throughout the season

Head-to-Head Scoring
3 points are awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw, teams are then ranked on points earned in Head-to-Head matches.

Head-to-Head fixtures are generated at the start of the league's first Gameweek. Once these fixtures have been generated the league is locked and teams will not be able to join or leave.

If a Head-to-Head league has an odd number of teams then an average team will join the league ensure each team has a fixture every Gameweek. This team will always score the Gameweek average.

In the event of a tie between teams, the team who has most game points will be positioned higher.

Head-to-Head Knock-out stage

Optionally, a Head-to-Head league may end with a knock-out stage over up to 3 Gameweeks with the league winner decided by a match in the final Gameweek. The automatically entered average team will not enter the knock-out stage, their place being taken by the next placed team.

In the event of a tie between teams in a Head-to-Head knock-out match, the following tie-breaks will be used:

Most goals scored in the Gameweek
Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek
Virtual coin coss

I'm pretty sure its capped at 20 in each league so that you have basically a full Prem fixture list each game week.

There's more variance in the H2H than the Classic, that may or may not be a factor in how you want to price them, I'm easy whatever.

not a shark. I'm decent at it, was ruling all my leagues until i went holiday last year and didn't change my team for 3 weeks and then it was just a disaster trying to recover, taking gambles etc. I don't plan on making any mistakes this year.

From what I saw last night the H2H league was fine but main league was like 10 ppl short. So should be okay as ppl can rejoin main league late. If anyone is missing from the H2H league i guess it would have to be a refund scenario.

Trigg it will auto bring your subs in if Wilshere plays 0 mins anyway.

From what I'm reading elsewhere the leagues will all be sorted out ok as long as you have registered already.

Tried the history trick - epic fail too!

I'm pretty certain the site will be able to restore the session from when it crashed but I normally make changes on a Saturday morning, so can imagine there's loads out there with auto-selected teams waiting to be sorted at the last minute.

It was just a fluke that I set my team yesterday - although I had a problem with getting the captain pick to stay on the right player.  It kept resetting to another one.

Can't see the teams, can't see your own points vs the average, etc.  It has about half the functionality of the old site.

As I said in my first post, it's just an additional challenge to me so I've no problems with you staying in (I've failed to win when you haven't been in it so far).  This is even more the case as you've offered a way out.

However, you are now the Manchester United of this league (sorry to do that to you!) so expect some abuse if you fail to win.  ;)

Besides, you're only doing what we're all supposed to be good at doing playing poker - looking for the weak spots.

I think the h2h league is just as hard as bottom can beat top, you have to plan 3 games ahead unless you check your opponents history

Definitely worse this year than anything before.

I couldn't get in from Friday evening until after the deadline had passed.  Thankfully I was only trying to get in to make sure I'd not been evicted from the league after reading Horner's earlier post.

I was an opportunistic Friday lunchtime login away from being stuck with an autopick team, in which case I'd have been screaming for something like the extended registration, so I can see why they've done with regard to the bigger picture outside this league.

Any chance we can link these to blonde names - I recognise a lot of them, but not all?

The H2H league is tilting me.

Last week it said "you cannot start this league in Gameweek 1" So i put WEEK 2 in the scoring starts section.

Now it says "We are aware of some temporary problems with scores in some leagues. These are being worked on and will be resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

And the option has gone to have started the games in week 2.

So I've changed it to week 3. I have no idea whats happening with it.

Think they've fucked it up unsuprisingly.

If it doesn't get sorted soon I'll just delete it and refund people. Will be a lot of effort tho so I hope they sort it.

Very freaky coincidence - I'm in the blonde and APAT H2H leagues and playing the same opponent (Tiger-Flash) in both of them.

Had to check it a couple of times as I thought I was going mad.

Was cursing earlier in the day as I'd dropped Aguero, so missed out on his hat-trick, but thankfully I replaced him with Rooney so no need for a FML today :)

I didn't have Rooney, Young, Aguero, Dzeko or Silva in the first few weeks when they were killing it. You really had to have a minimum of 2 of these imo, I had none and was getting 1s and 2s with my captain choices  as I was favouring Chelsea players at the time (Torres and Malouda) and picked Yaya over Silva.
