Hi All,
          Hope this appeals to some as a low cost opportunity to bink something nice.
My name is David Blacklaw Long time lurker on Blonde and can have a few vouch for me if required.
Been playing poker for around 5.5 years but never anything bigger than the usual £50 local casino with the odd shot at a bigger buy in. (30th in this back in May 2011 and recently finished 70th in the Edinburgh UKIPT after winning a seat at the Live Sat).  Have been playing the APAT tour and had a couple of decent scores.

The Event.
Looking to play the the Edinburgh Circus Summer Sizzler which is on Sunday 25th September 2011 and is a 2 day event.
The total cost will be £160 as this is broken down as £100 +£10 with a £50 Add on.
12K starting stack and a further 10K with Add on. 40 mins per level. Plenty of play.
Im looking to sell 50% at 1:1
5% = £8
10% = £16
and so on.

Added Bonus

Will give a percentage of my GUKPT event which i will be playing in November 2011. (Added value from Betfair last Year for winning the Southern European Online Championship via APAT)
10% will get 2% free in the GUKPT
5% will get 1% free in the GUKPT


I play online under the alias of 4ththistle on STARS and 4th on 888 for APAT.

Can take stars but would prefer Bank Transfer for obvious reasons if this suits investors.
This is my 2nd ever staking request so please feel free to ask questions or point me in the right direction.

Dave's day goes like this....

Get up, go to work, come home, spend some time with the family, ask pleno and greeky over and over and over about how to improve at poker. Memorise questions and conversations with pleno and greeky so that these exact conversations can be repeated the following day.

Go to bed dreaming of being Neil Channing or Tikay

Belated update

We get to the Edinburgh Circus Summer Sizzler with 82100 chips avg is 81300.

Play ABC poker and get to the FT with 119K

1st Hand i Raise to 14K at 2K/4K with AK of Parsley.. Get it through
2nd Hand we fold to a raise.

So we cash in 8th for £370 and we let George know the Good news. He has £185 for an initial investment of £80 (Still 10% in the GUKPT. WAL)

Now there is the Scottish Championships coming up which has a £100, £500 and a £200.
The £100 is on the Friday and cannot attend. The £500 is a bit out of my league.  The £200 would normally be a mmmmmmm but we talk to George and agree that we play the £200 + £20 Juice for £110 each (50%) and this leaves £75 for the next Edinburgh Christmas Sizzler on the 27th December(50%).

So we get regged on the Sunday and see the usual punters and somebody exits my table when he can't lay down a Straight on a paired board. Wasn't me taking the chips.

We started with 12.5K chips with a 30 Minute clock. Perfect.

We get to around 15K and we get AA in EP raise to 350 at 75/150 and the BB makes up.
Flop comes Qc8s5d R and we CB to 475 and are called.
Turn the 10d and we bet 1200 and are called again.
the River brings the Ks and the BB bets 2K.
Sigh. call and are shown K5 wtf...

continue to grind to 12K and the Button shoves his stack and KsQs (9.8K at the 200/400) and i wake up with AA. we hold and now have 22K.

Get moved about several tables and get down to 3 tables and pretty short with 16bb.
I have 44 and shove in EP and get snapped reraised. sigh... and the BB tanks for an age and folds.

i flip 44 and he turns over A4. OMG... we hold and i get to 32K. (The BB had AK) Wiiiii on the K high flop...

Grind again and this happens...
im on the button and person on my right ships for 40K and i barely cover him but feel his range is pretty wide and call.
he flips Q10 and i flip 77. OMG see link above.
First cards out is Q84 10 ......7 Boooooooom
We have 2 tables left. Knock out Jambo with AK v AQ... sorry James

and get to the final table with 101K and the Avg is 138K. Some work to do.
we get to the final table and am asked if i want to do a deal. (i DON'T MIND DEALS) and they offer everybody £1350 apart from Chip daddy who won AAvKKvQQ on the last hand before the final table for a 400K pot.

everyone agree's but we have to add money back in to play for.

i push first hand with JJ and get called with K10. board comes KK4. Thanks and Good night.

So we tell George the good news and ship him the £650 in time for Ireland.

So the Circus tourney is on this Tuesday and i hope to return some pennies to my staker..
